I cannot say enough good things about Janelle & the Visionary team. I don't think I could've gotten through this wedding without them. Janelle was supposed to be purely my day of coordinator but she went above and beyond to support all the pivots of the pandemic. She was amazing with corralling my vendors and myself (since I was starting a new job and honestly did not do everything I needed to).Once the COVID shutdown happened, she quickly pivoted with me to plan a backyard wedding ceremony in less than a month. And boy did she pull it off! With her on your wedding day, there is not a single thing to worry about. She will bring your visions to life AND THEN SOME. She worked with me on my backyard wedding ceremony in August 2020 and grand wedding reception at the Academy of Sciences in August 2021 taking every curveball the pandemic has thrown our way without batting a lash. She even brought my leftover liquor and items back to our hotel so we could continue the party all while being barely 3 months postpartum! I can tell you that Janelle will be my go to for every major event from now on. You will kick yourself for not hiring her for your events.

Welp, 5 stars is for sure NOT enough for this review!! x100000000I first reached out to Janelle - Visionary Events and Designs back in Oct 2017 while planning our civil wedding ceremony/celebration. My fiancé (at that time) and I weren't ready for a MEX-FIL grand wedding but still wanted to have a small gathering to celebrate our union. We met that Nov at starbucks Sunvalley Mall, and I knew right away that she was the perfect person for us. Me and Omar did get married on May 2018 thru the courthouse and fast forward to early March of 2019, we decided to actually plan for our big wedding which was set on June 6, 2020. Throughout the planning process, we met Danny (Janelle's husband and also part of Visionary Events and Designs team) they are both super talented and supeeeer nice and we just all get along very well, which made this whole wedding journey soooo much better! From creating our vision boards to our meetings which I alwayssss look forward to, Janelle & Danny made sure me and Omar (the groom-zilla) compromise in every decision we make. They are very neutral, explained pros and cons of every lil detail, mind you, there are details that we won't even probably think of until it was all laid down to us. The amount of details from planning a wedding is unbelievable. Which is why we appreciate them a loooot, like A LOT. Unfortunately, COVID hit and we had to postpone our wedding...... not only once but 3X!!! TBH, I seriously do not know what I'd do without Janelle during this time. The mixed of emotions from postponing to the stress of how things are uncertain. She took care of contacting each vendors and moving dates, made sure everything lined up. We did lost some vendors and she did looked for replacements right away, we trusted her 100000%. Our patience was tested and we are just super lucky we have Janelle to put things into the right place!!! Literally the amount of work she puts in behind every event are underestimated unless you actually experience first hand and see all the effort she does! Visionary Events and Designs stood by us from start to finish! ooof! (thankful, grateful, blessed 1000%)Fast forward to Oct 2, 2021, with sooo much anticipation and years in the making LOL, our dream wedding finally came true! All the hardwork and patience was definitely worth the wait!!!! I saw the venue layout through a pdf document, and bam! when I saw it in person I was speechless! It took me some time actually process everything as it just feels soooo surreal! Danny and Janelle made sure we had the most perfect and epic wedding PERIOD! I know there were challenges during the day of, but we honestly have no idea of anything. Which clearly explains that they solved whatever it was/it may be without taking us away from our special moment. I know we wouldn't be able to do it by ourselves, and we truly appreciate eeverrrrrrrryyything Visionary Events and Designs did to make it all possible! They are indeed THE DREAM TEAM. and we're lucky to call them OUR DREAM TEAM.Danny and Janelle isn't just our wedding planners, throughout the wedding planning journey, they've become family. We witnessed their amazing wedding in 2017 (thru social media LOL -we barely met) to actually celebrating their own milestone (Janelle's Baby Shower) and welcoming Baby Colton! We are soo blessed to be a part of their own journey as much as they've become part of ours as well. And we truly value their presence in our lives! We couldn't thank them enough as there's no words that can equal the amount of gratitude we feel for the both of them and Visionary Events and Designs. When my fiancé and I finally set our wedding date , we knew we wanted to hire a wedding planner! With my fiancé being a DJ, he knew the importance of having one not only on the day of but also leading towards your special day! I inquired & booked Janelle's services back in 2018 when my wedding wasn't even scheduled until 2020! Now that is how much I admired her work & knew she would be the perfect person to help plan our long awaited wedding! From the very first phone call - to our first face to face meeting , Janelle made wedding planning such a breeze! Her attention to detail , her vision , but most of all her personality really makes her so fun and easy to work with! She was and continues to be patient & extremely open - minded with all the changes we made from the beginning of planning through today! Our wedding was one of the many weddings affected from COVID19 & we are so grateful to have her even more now , since we pretty much have to replan our entire wedding! We cannot imagine having to go through all this stress without a wedding planner and let me tell you , we are so happy we made that investment in hiring Janelle! I think we have more first-hand experience with the awesome team at Visionary than perhaps anyone else -- Janelle and her amazing crew have now planned 4 weddings in the family, including ours. Given that we'll be recommending her for the rest of our lives, I imagine we'll see her at another wedding soon! Janelle is a BOSS. We were very particular about every last detail of our wedding, and Janelle not only became a better expert on the event than us, but found many more ways to perfect the day than we could ever have imagined. I can't emphasize this enough -- our wedding day was perfect. Nothing went wrong. 99% of this is because of Janelle and the team at Visionary. Janelle made sure everyone (and everything) was where they/it needed to be, and when. Danny, her trusty sidekick/husband, was particularly helpful in wrangling the groomsmen. Nothing was overlooked. Thanks to Janelle, we were able to be completely in the moment, relaxed knowing that she could handle any potential issues. Visionary has everything you need. Please do not use anyone else to plan your wedding!

Did I mention how fabulous my baby shower decor was? Everything was perfect to the last detail: custom centerpieces, custom backdrop, elegant table setting, etc. Janelle captured very well the essence of elegance and exceeded my expectations, I cannot thank her enough!

Janelle of Visionary Events and Designs is truly amazing! I booked her services for my wedding on 3/19/17 in Vallejo, CA. Getting married is very stressful and especially so for a DIY bride with a short, 6 month engagement. I began the planning process and booked most of my vendors very quickly but after a month I was ready to give up and elope. It was then I decided to book a Day of Coordinator. I met with a few planners and felt overwhelmed after the meetings and tired of talking about my wedding plans. Then I met with Janelle and I was actually excited about the big day again! She is a warm, giving person and that really helped me feel comfortable trusting her. Janelle offers different levels of services and was able to create a package that exactly fit my needs and budget. She created timelines and coordinated with my vendors in the days leading up to the wedding and ensured all my plans were executed. My fiance and I had a lot of DIY projects because we wanted our wedding to have our personal touch on every detail. However, after seeing her Instagram page we decided to have her add her creative talent with my sweetheart table and photo backdrop, as well. She really does it all!As much as I tried to be organized and ready for my wedding day, having a morning wedding ceremony leaves little time for last minute details or anything unexpected. That is why having Janelle was a lifesaver. I had to let go and hope everything was going as planned at my venue. I got my makeup done, took pictures and before I knew it, my ceremony was starting. I walked out and everything was exactly the way I envisioned. Janelle was on top of everything. That feeling is priceless. I do not want to mull over all the details of the job she did for me because honestly, she was so good behind the scenes that I was completely present and focused on my Husband, our loved ones, and all the fun we were having. That is what a great coordinator does! I highly recommend Visionary Events and Designs for all of your party planning needs, but especially for brides. I can't say enough good things regarding Janelle AND Visionary Events. I was in a bit of a crunch for a birthday surprise for my dear friends daughter, and without hesitation I had a timely response and a "yes I can do that for you" response. Janelle was kind enough to put together the sweetest mermaid birthday bouquet, which our birthday girl swooned over. Janelle was extremely kind, as well as informative, to when we could expect the bouquet to arrive. If you are ever in need of a creative and friendly company to put together an event for you, Visionary Events is your place!!!

I am honored to be the first reviewer of Visionary Events and Designs as I am still astonished with how talented Janelle is. Janelle was our day-of-coordinator for our wedding at Deer Park Villa in Fairfax. Let me begin by saying, I was reluctant to hire a wedding coordinator considering we had organized much of the communication with vendors on the days leading up to the wedding and plans seemed to be running smoothly. Do yourself a favor and go with a coordinator, and by coordinator I mean Janelle. Before the big day, she arranged a meeting with the MOH and myself over coffee. I had given her an itinerary to review and she came prepared with questions and feedback. She contacted all of my vendors to introduce herself and to let them know she was to be the point person on the day of. She was present on the rehearsal walk-through and organized our overzealous wedding party. She remained in communication with our venue manager for all my last minute questions. On the day of our wedding Janelle met with vendors and delegated all of my pre-conspired requests. When the bridal party and myself arrived we found snacks and drinks in ice chests a la Janelle. The venue was pretty much decorated. I saw Janelle carrying around my Power-Point illustrating where I wanted items placed and talking to my vendors. I was already impressed with how much had been done by 11 am and I knew she had a huge role in this. Throughout the wedding Janelle maintained a remarkable level of professionalism. She was kind to vendors and family alike. My vendors raved about her. Our family thought she was a complete rockstar. She kept all of our vendors on time! I am most impressed with how well she she handled some HUGE unforeseen crises without me knowing. This is exactly what you'd want in a wedding coordinator. I also appreciate the little things I don't think come with the wedding coordinator title. She assisted with my dress. She packaged leftover food in Tupperware she brought (because she is THAT good). She made special plates of food for my husband and I since she knew we would be starving at the end of the night. In addition, she packed up and organized the disheveled bridal suite. She is just so sweet!I cannot recommend Janelle enough! She is a natural at organizing and navigating social events. She enjoys it and it shows. :)

I booked Visionary Events and Designs last minute for my best friend's wedding 2 years ago. I just went to refer them and realized I never left a review! They swooped in with a few weeks notice and did an amazing job making the Elk's Lodge look absolutely magical! Janelle was so nice and easy to work with and helped my poor boyfriend set things up when he was struggling to figure it out. I recommend them to anyone who has a space they want to transform without breaking the bank. Janelle has a way of making your vision come to life, thank you again!

I have worked with Visionary Event and Designs on a handful of events now and I have to say, Janelle is one of the most talented and creative people in this field. Her ability to take an idea and fully execute it beyond even my expectations has pretty much been my experience with her. I'm an event planner so whenever I have a vision that needs to be executed that takes creativity and the fabrication skills that I do not have, I go to Janelle. Janelle is creative, professional, easy to work with, flexible, and most importantly, reliable.
