Village West Marina & Resort

This is so small but great little RV place on the Delta in Stockton, California. The spaces are wide and very clean. You're a 30 minute. Drive away from the Lodi wine country .The only downside is no cable and the touch pricey but still deserving him five stars.

Whether you arrive at Village West by boat or car, FUN will find you! One of the Delta's best boating destinations, VWMR offers safe berthing, easy access to fun on the water, and onsite dining & drinking. However, this boater recently discovered their waterfront bungalows...well-appointed interiors with a fantastic private deck outside. You can fish off the deck, fire up the furnished grill, keep the beer cold in the full-sized frig, and use the free internet to post photos of yourself having fun. Now they also have a classy RV park where every caravan is on the water. The excellent staff adds to the experience.

Clean good produce and meat. Staff is nice but not a place I go for a few weeks of groceries. A little out of my price range for that kind of shopping.

Very clean and modern, friendly staff. My only complaint is that my Let's Go Brandon flag apparently offended one of the other guest and I was asked by management to remove it. Nice park, but unfortunately I believe in my freedom of speech, and expression more than I like to camp at Village West. I will never step foot there again.

We stayed overnight in a bungalow and it was so nice. Great accommodations, everything you can need for a night away on the river. Very clean and well stocked. Has Netflix and WiFi. Perfect patio. Vickie Baumann took great care of us! We will be back!

I've had my boat there for the last couple of years and been very happy. The restrooms, docks, laundry rooms and entire facility is kept and clean and well maintained. The office staff along with all the workers are friendly and will go the extra mile to help in any way possible. Can't recommend this marina enough to anyone looking for a beautiful facility.

Seemed nice but was told they do not allow sailboats to berth there ,so I have no interest in anything else they have to offer.

It has been great being a tenant with the Marina on/off for 20+ years. I have seen allot of changes in that time, some good and some not so good. Pro's:* The Staff in its entirety is Amazing, Friendly and have addressed most of our concerns throughout or tenure at the Marina.* The Grounds and Marina in General are beautiful and kept groomed and clean.Cons:* This is a "Dead Basin Marina" and as such everything stays in here including Hyacinth, Algae Blooms and worse yet bottom rooted Sea Grass. They do a pretty good job at keeping up on the Hyacinth but the Grass is getting terrible. It is everywhere including the center of the Marina. I don't know what the answer is but I can tell you, it won't be long before active boaters are tired of getting that stuff wound up in their props and water intakes and find a new Marina.* The 'N' Dock Restroom that serves at least 100 boats turned out beautiful but what was the Design Team thinking? 1 Toilet and Urinal in the Men's Room? The 2 Showers are great but if you look at any other Marina, a Restroom servicing this many boats would have at least 3 toilets and 2/3 Urinals. The sad part is the building has the room if the space was utilized properly. It doesn't matter what time it is, the Men's toilet is occupied 75% of the time. I can't speak to the Women's side but I hear that many times Men are using the Women's facility because the Men's is occupied. The 'J/K' Dock Restroom is older and has the same design flaws. It was supposed to be renovated in 2022 but that project has been scrapped for other projects.* Parking for 'N/O/P' Dock tenants: The Bungalows took away a huge amount of parking. The RV Park took more away from VWYC so now the Yacht Club Members consistently take over our parking spots and it is not uncommon for us to have to park way down by 'L/M' Docks during Yacht Club events. I know you have tried to address this with the yacht Club but the majority of their members don't care and insistently park in our spaces. * The Internet is terrible. I would think that a 5-Anchor Marina that charges top rates would have excellent Internet service. You expect this from a 4-5 Star Hotel.

Very nice marina run by a terrible manager who has succeeded in losing many dozens of longtime berthers, due to her dictatorial, unbending attitude, unwilling to listen to reasonable explanations when she has her facts wrong or just doesn't like you for whatever reason. She believes she is always right and will never accept otherwise, no matter how proving the evidence is.
