Updated review. As we are still no longer at this gym I felt it was time to update my review as this place has seemed to do a turnaround to it's previous status.Heard there is now a better organized staff among other things.Wish them all the luck in the future.

We have been going here for three years now starting on our fourth season. My six year old has learned so much from both the cheer coaches and tumbling coaches. She went from competing in the tiny level with age groups of 3 to five to this year cross competing in the youth level 2 that's for 11 and under. In most any gym you go to the practices are closed to the parents this keeps the kids focused. We now finished our fourth season with both my daughter's holding National Titles. Statements written prior are without facts. The tumble track was replaced with a brand new one. Its one mans story and its just that a story. So if your looking for a great cheer gym with lots of fun and a family atmosphere look no further.

VEA is an amazing organization for kids. The coaches are patient, supportive and encouraging. They do not train the athletes with fear or intimidation. My daughter has been cheering for VEA for over 6 years and is lucky to have such amazing role models. She has a second family and has made life long friends. I highly recommend VEA to anyone looking for a competitive cheer organization!

Wow where to start besides saying this is truly the place you want your child to be!! My daughter is about to be 8, and we have done rec. gymnastics and also competitive dance at other locations and never has my daughter or my family felt so welcomed and part of a family as we do here at VEA!! Every single person that is employed by VEA is are all about helping you and your child to bring out their full potential..My daughter has gone from just knowing her splits and a cartwheel to in just one year now doing back walkovers, front walkovers, front handspring, a round off, and about to have her back handspring and back tuck!! All in a little less than a year!!! And that's due to the coaching staff that is always giving 110%!! So if you and your little one is looking for a beyond amazing competitive cheer program where you will love to be and your little one will grow, come check VEA out!! I couldn't ever imagine being anywhere else but here! Cause for my family and I VEA is now part of our forever family and home!!

I'm very eager to share my review about VEA, but first, I'd like to share a little back-story on what led us to find this fabulous gym to begin with. My daughter LOVES anything to do with cheer or dance, she loves learning new things, and she definitely loves having the opportunity to showcase all her new talents. When my daughter was old enough (around 2), I began looking for a studio in Manteca that I could enroll her in. We found what I thought, at the time, would be a good fit. We signed her up and she took classes there for over two years. I had many opportunities to watch her perform at her recitals. I was "That Mom". The one who has tears running down her face, while at the same time, grinning from ear-to-ear. I was so proud of my baby girl! Unfortunately, our sweet story ends here. Things seemed to be going okay at first, but as time went on, my daughter started to feel withdrawn. I could totally notice the difference in her, she was crying and begging not to go anymore. I'll spare you all the heartbreaking details that led me to come to this conclusion because I know if you are a mom, you can already understand me when I say, when you see your baby suffer, you suffer right along with her. We were definitely ready for a change! I looked into two new facilities in the Manteca area. I must admit the other one I looked at (a new dance studio in Manteca) was very nice and seemed super eager to enroll her, but from the moment I walked into VEA, I knew this was going to be the place for us. You will not find "glamour shots" of the staff hanging all over their walls, you will see pictures of their current athletes and the accomplishments they have recently made. This place is all about the kids! Being a teacher, I can sometimes be very critical about the way children are treated and what environment they are learning in. This gym has done nothing but amaze me in the short time we have been there. You want to know what this gym does? They encourage, they motivate, they strengthen, they inspire, they energize, they nurture, they praise, and most importantly, they give frequent high-fives, warm smiles, and so many hugs at each practice, I can't even count them all. I especially love that there is a parent viewing area which allows me to watch her whole practice, start to finish. VEA was exactly what my young daughter needed all along. She is only 4 and just beginning to realize who she really is and what she is good at. She needs positivity and people that will make her feel important. VEA has done a terrific job of rebuilding my daughter's confidence and making her feel like an important member of their team. As a mother, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing your daughter feel happy and enthusiastic about going to her practices every week. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a professional, but very "family-oriented" place for your child. We couldn't be more happier with VEA. My daughter begs me to go everyday, I'm not kidding! It is so comforting to know that she will grow and be nurtured there, not just physically, but emotionally as well.

Both my daughters have cheered here for many many seasons we love the family atmosphere. The coaches are highly ranked and know what their doing. Kids have a blast and work hard!

My daughter is going into her 2nd season at VEA and we couldn't be happier to be apart of such an awesome cheer family. She went in with only doing a forward roll to now doing her cartwheels, back and front walkover, and now working on her back handspring. All in only one year all thanks to the best coaches around! My daughter loves everyone at her cheer gym, she dreams of being on senior 4 one day (now on the mini team). The atmosphere is truly family oriented, because thats what we are a FAMILY. Every single coach, staff member, and athlete is so loving, respectful, and professional. I would definetly recommend VEA to anyone who is looking to get their child involved in competitive cheer or tumbling. We have some of the best cheer and tumbling coaches around. We will surely be apart of VEA for many more years to come.
