We were disappointed because they did not leave the left over food behind. The food that we paid for. I called the manager and after much discussion, we came to an agreeable resolution. I appreciate their effort to make things right.

I went today to get some birria tacos .. the lady gave me a bad attitude as soon as I asked why are charging taxi's on a taco truck. Without register machine...I don't know if this is a thing now . But it is the first time that happens to me...I had no problem on paying for the food.I just went home, didn't want to make a scene, but I was very angry when I opened the box,you guys can see the picture of the "birriatacos".I was so angry and disappointed...not going back ever. And I hope this is a head's up for someone out there.. Save your money or go somewhere else. I paid $14 dollars for literally burn tacos, with bad flavor, and bad attitude from the lady,, just thrown them in garbage, and made my self some eggs with tortillas at home,Note:This is my first time doing a review,The service was so horrible..that actually took some time to write this,And let the owners and you guys know.

I am really sad to have to change the previous 5 star review I gave them to a 2 star review. Because we had such an excellent experience the first time we hired CJ, he was the first person we called to hire when we had another event at our home recently. I should have gone with my gut feeling this time when I noticed things were much different when trying to reach CJ. He was very difficult to get on the phone this time and when I could get a hold of him, he was very short with me or wouldn't call at the times we would agree on to discuss my event. I literally asked him at one point "are you really sure you can make it to my event?" because it just seemed like he was blowing me off. But he assured me he could absolutely make it to my event, which was yesterday (7/15) at 3pm. He accepted my $200 deposit and told me he'd call me the day before the event for the final headcount. CJ did call me the day before my event as promised, but was once again VERY short with me when I asked any questions. He was in a huge hurry to get me off the phone. If you don't have time to answer or make your phone calls, maybe it's time to start letting someone else schedule your events so that you can focus on whatever it is that is keeping you so busy that you don't have time for a 5 minute phone call with a customer. CJ and I agreed that since my party started at 3 pm, he would come set up at 3:30 pm and serve food from 4-6 pm. He said he was coming to my event from an event he was doing in Valley Springs, which is 50 miles from my house and was over at 2pm, so he had plenty of time to get here. So, I notified all of my guests and everyone planned to be here during that time frame..I had a gut feeling there would be an issue because of all the difficulty reaching him and I should have just gone with my gut because I was RIGHT!3:30 rolled around and CJ was not here and I had not heard from him. I began calling and texting him at 3:55, no answer. I only heard from CJ AFTER I called the restaurant associated with his catering business to complain. Magically he called me 5 minutes after that phone call at 4:42 pm and told me he was 20 minutes away, and danced around an explanation as to why he was not here. 20 more minutes came and went and he still wasn't here. My husband ended up calling him also, several more times. Long story short, CJ did not arrive to our house until 6:10 pm.... Almost 3 hours late.... food was not served until 6:40 pm. He broke our agreement and acted like nothing happened. It does NOT take 4 hours to get from Valley Springs to Manteca... I checked the traffic, there was no traffic.... he never did tell us where he was for 4 hours or why he was late and pretty much acted like he was confused as to why we were upset.... The food was good and our guests were happy once they were fed.CJ did pull me aside when he was leaving and somewhat apologized. I believe he squeezed in another event thinking he could make everyone happy and ended up only districting a business relationship with a repeat customer. He assumed that his time was more important than ours. Also, the charges this time do not make sense to me. The last party we had (last summer) we had about 35 guests and paid $485, including a generous tip. This year we had 45 guests and paid $670, without a tip (he gave us a $50 discount for his tardiness so we ended up paying $620)... he never broke the prices down for me, so I'm confused as to what the actual price per head is? $14 a person or $19 because when I do the math, it doesn't add up and only adds more insult. He mentioned to me as he was leaving that "next time he'll take care of us".... Well CJ, you should have taken care of us this time because there will never, ever be a next time.We hired CJ for our house warming/ birthday party event we had yesterday. I was able to book him short notice and he was very accommodating and professional throughout all communications. He kept me updated throughout the day on arrival times, showed up when he said he would and got straight to work. Our new house has a pretty big side yard access, so myself and my guests all thought it was SO cool that he was able to pull right up out back almost right next to our pool. The tacos were ALL good, my favorite were the steak. Everyone was very impressed and almost everyone took his card because they want to hire him too! He kept the food rolling out at a good pace. We had about 30 guests and no one complained about any long waits and definitely no one complained about the food. He left quite a bit of leftovers too, we JUST moved into our house and haven't done much grocery shopping yet, so we will definitely be eating tacos all week, lol, and we are perfectly okay with that!We were so impressed with the service from start to finish. We had a great experience. We will definitely hire them again!

We use them to cater our event, played over $1000. We received the worse service ever!! The guy taking orders was mean acting as if we were asking for free food, he was telling people he could only give them 4 tacos and refused to give out the quesadillas!!! They didn't want to leave food for the people that didn't show to the event on time (Every taco guy we had before, leaves the leftover meet) but this people didn't, only about half of the people we expected showed up!! Will never have business with them again and will definitely not recommend them to any of my relatives/friends!!!BY FAR THE WORSE COSTUMER SERVICE WE'VE EVER, EVER, EVER HAD!!!!!!ALSO AT THE RESTAURANT THE LADY TAKING ORDERS ALWAYS LOOKING MAD, TIRED, MEAN!! BARELY SPEAKS!! The food isn't that bad but i've had better!!!

I have been going to the Victoria's taco truck since I was in high school. The carnitas burrito has always been my must have. I have noticed though that the rice has or had been lacking in flavor and the carnitas (pork) was a bit dry. Haven't been here since consistently noticing these changes. But I will say, they were always nice and willing to make my food the way I wanted it. Might have to stop by, when in the mood for a burrito.

Went to a 12th birthday party today and it was catered by CJ from Victoria's Tequizas! The carne asada was marinated well and juicy, the chicken was cooked well, and my favorite was the al pastor with fresh bits of pineapple in it! So good with beans and rice and equipped with your choices of salsa- red and green and some lime, radishes, cabbage, onions and cilantro. I was stuffed from 2 tacos, but decided to take some to go when the "last call" was announced. I definitely recommended the catering because of the fresh ingredients and yummy food, but also how professional CJ was. Thank you! I'll be coming to visit their restaurant soon for some delicious papusas!

I tried the Taquiza at a birthday party not impressed. Chicken taco taste like it was bad and fishy. I had to spit it out into a napkin! Carne Asada was better than the chicken but I had several chunks of gristle in it. The pork was dripping with grease, but was the better of the choices. The small size tortillas they use were not getting heated thoroughly. Rice and beans were a little bland for my taste. Speaking with the party hostess she tells me she paid about $10.50 Per person and paid for 75 even though I doubt she had 75 attend. Plus had to pay $$$ extra for the drink (horchata). They were serving aprox 2 hours and they pack everything left over to take with them I'm guessing to resale. Even the drink that she paid for! I would not recommend this business to anyone!

We hired cj for a birthday party and it was a hit!! He was alone so yes the line did get long but that's because everyone kept coming back for more!! For unlimited servings it is well worth it! I would definitely use their services again!

Took $300 deposit and then never showed up. Basically stole our money. Won't answer my calls. Our family has used them many times in the past with no issues but now the restaurant is closed and CJ steals our money.

Asada super burrito was fantastic!! A little spicy but nothing I couldn't handle. I will def be back. Looks like most of the poor reviews were about catering.
