Kendra is Wonder Woman. Kendra helped my sister and I plan an Indian double wedding!!!! Anyone who knows about Indian weddings I need not say more. This was a 6 day extravaganza and Kendra not only familiarized herself with all of our customs and traditions, she helped keep us so organized that ALL of our guests said "this was the BEST INDIAN wedding we have ever attended!" I can not recommend her enough. She is so pleasant to work with and by the time each of our sessions were done I had emails and messages of finished work and research by the time I got home. If you want a well organized wedding, working with a person with the best connections and most knowledge then Kendra is your "gal!"

Pheiffer Event Planning is wonderful and we couldn't have had a successful wedding without her. We live in St. Louis, MO so planning a wedding in Sacramento was going to be a little tough since I (the Bride) was from Southern California and the Groom had not lived in Sacramento for at least 10 years.We started planning a little closer to our wedding date in November 2009 (only 7 mo. of planning). Our wedding date was 5/30/10 - Memorial Day Weekend. She helped us find a ceremony and reception location (sending us a ton of photos via e-mail), secure 2 options for hotels for our out-of-town guests (about 70%), rentals for the ceremony. Helped us with the florist, a hair and make-up person, photographer, photobooth company...everything you could absolutely think of - she gave us at least 2 options based on what we were looking for. We only visited once (for one weekend) before the wedding where she scheduled 2 cake tastings, 2 florist meetings, food tasting (which was Mulvaney's and was AMAZING), trial hair & make-up, and visit to the ceremony location.She also helped me with verbiage and proofing on our wedding invitations, menu and programs - which we made.Kendra is very thorough and worked with all of our vendors. She is also very responsive on phone and e-mail and will respond (usually within 24 hours unless she had a wedding or is on vacation.On the day of our wedding, it is hard to show just how helpful she was since it was perfect and nothing went wrong. Her assistant for the day Jordan was also wonderful - she was always there ready to help and I really appreciated it...especially when I wanted to change out my shoes :o).I highly recommend Kendra with Pfeiffer Event Planning. My wedding was BETTER than I dreamed thanks to Kendra. She is organized, detail-oriented, and understanding of what you are expecting your wedding day to look like. She was great at helping me pick put vendors and coordinating with them to get the look that I was looking for for the special day. Honestly, I can't thank Kendra enough. It was very hard for me to let someone else take charge of the wedding planning, but with my busy schedule, I decided to hire Kendra after meeting with a few wedding planners..I was so glad I did. She kept track of everything that was due..payments, rentals, etc and at absolutely no time did I feel the extreme stress that brides have, thanks to Kendra!!!

This review is long overdue but I want to recommend Pfeiffer event planning for anyone. I got married in May of 2014 and Kendra was our planner. Before working with her we had hired a photographer and booked our venue but quickly realized we needed some guidance and help. We met with a few event planners but Kendra was the only one who seemed to actually listen to us more than talk to us about themselves. I trusted Kendra to see my vision for my wedding and really help me make it work. She had an entire list of vendors to refer us to and I knew that I could trust these vendors to show up and deliver what was promised. I did not know that much about weddings and Kendra was extremely helpful. She had a detailed checklist of things I needed to get done and dates they needed to be finished by. I always knew that nothing would be forgotten. On the day of the wedding she was there from the minute set up started. Once I arrived I knew she was taking care of things and I did not have to go double check (being the control freak I am). If there was anything that went wrong, I didn't know about it nor did I even notice. Her and her assistant Jordan were very organized and were very helpful whenever I needed anything. I just enjoyed my day. Kendra was very professional and takes this very seriously. She's not about to let your husband accidentally see you or let any wardrobe malfunctions get in the way. She has a special little kit for any problem. Trust me and trust Kendra to really take care of you and your event and make it amazing!!!BTW - Our wedding was so amazing we got a 6 pg. feature in Sacramento Bride & Groom magazineThank you again Kendra!

Our dream wedding would not have been possible without Kendra. For 18 months Kendra and I planned and researched a wedding that was all about details. Despite it normally being difficult for me to relinquish control I always felt comfortable with Kendra in charge.If you are looking for an organized, experienced, detail-minded, patient and understanding wedding planner that can handle anything that comes along Kendra is the right person for you. After our first intial meeting she went to work creating and planning a timeline and to-do check list to help me get through the planning process and it was so incredibly helpful. I never once had to worry about what I needed to get done, she was always there to assist me with the next step. The vendors she recommended were amazing with loads of experience and she negotiated amazing prices savings us thousands of dollars. Communication was a breeze and anytime I needed a question answered or something researched she was a phone call or email away. My large wedding would have been overwhelming and quite possibly miserable to plan and execute if it weren't for her. Never once throughout my planning process did I feel stressed or frustrated and on our big day I was able to relax, get ready and marry the man of my dreams. I would highly recommend Kendra to any bride looking to make her wedding day that much more special and stress free.

Kendra is as good as it gets. I am an extremely busy person as is my now husband and she made all of our ideas come out and shine. She suggested a wonderful photographer, florist, DJ, venues and gave options when needed and then recommendations for a single vendor when asked. I saved hundreds of hours by trusting her judgement and I was not disappointed. She had wonderful contracts with vendors with lots of perks and even provided her own son to return some cushions to Roseville the following day when we would rather hang out with friends. She was even willing to watch a movie for my theme as homework. She was professional and the Day Of and Rehearsal Organization made it so that all I needed to do was be with my friends and family. She and her assistant took care of the rest. She is well worth twice of what she charged. She will return emails at midnight and takes care of hundreds of background things that I didn't even know needed done until she needed bridal input. She made sure contracts were in our favor and had thousands of selections of stationary but also helped me when I contracted that out to someone else. I honestly don't know why anyone would get married without an event planner and I personally will never plan an event without Kendra ever again.

Kendra is a true professional and so easy to work with. As a wedding DJ, I see good and not-so good event planners and I would put Kendra at the very top of the list of seasoned veterans. I have never had an event where the clients, guests or vendors didn't enjoy from start to finish. You simply cannot go wrong with Pfeiffer Event Planning!

I have to give Kendra with Pfeiffer Event Planning all of the credit for turning my dream wedding into a reality. There is no way that I could have pulled off such a detailed and fabulous wedding if it were not for Kendra. (My wedding was May 3, 2013)I am super busy with my career and groom is even busier so it was very important that I had a planner who could handle everything. I was pretty hands off in that I told her what things I wanted and trusted that she would make it happen. She communicated with all of my vendors, negotiated special pricing with vendors, sent payments to the vendors, assembled invitations, mailed the invitations.....EVERYTHING! I can't tell you how many vendors gave us special pricing because they wanted to work with Kendra. She was very prompt with getting back to me whenever I had a question or a new idea. I had contracts with several rental companies and she kept everything so organized. It all seemed so effortless. And the wedding.........Everyone (I mean everyone) is still talking about how fabulous my wedding was and how much fun they had and how it ran so smoothly. I loved my wedding so much that I am trying to think of another party for Kendra to plan......maybe my baby shower.Without hesitation, I recomend Kendra with Pfeiffer Event Planning.My wedding was fabulous, she saved us a lot of money and the day was literally perfect. The cost is so minimal compared to the lifelong memories.

Kendra made our wedding perfect! Wedding planning can be so stressful and overwhelming, but Kendra made our experience fun and easy. She saved us so much time by narrowing down high quality vendors for us to choose from, but made sure each selection that was made fit our vision. Our wedding turned out better than we ever imagined, and, as a bride, I never stressed about the details of my wedding coming together. She was easy to work with and listened to what we wanted. We can't recommend her highly enough!

We held our ceremony and reception outdoors on a private estate on 5/21/16, and Kendra Pfeiffer Wershing is the reason our wedding far exceeded our hopes and expectations. Choosing Kendra as our planner was truly the single best decision we made, and we are absolutely thrilled with the level of service she and her team provided.After we submitted our initial inquiry, Kendra responded within a few hours, even though she was on vacation at the time. After our first meeting, it was an easy decision--her professionalism and attention to detail were so evident. We are both very busy, so we needed more than month-of coordination services, but we didn't need a fully inclusive package either. Kendra created a custom package for us that met all our needs exactly and fit our budget. Her flexibility in meeting our needs was certainly a plus, but the primary reason we chose her was we felt comfortable that she would click well with my father (who was hosting the event at his home) and our many friendors. Our friends enjoyed working with her and my dad was so impressed with her organization. At first my dad was a little skeptical when I told him I hired a planner, but afterwards he was so grateful--thanks to Kendra, he got to truly enjoy the evening and relax.Many websites warn about the logistical difficulties and hidden expenses of having a private estate or backyard wedding--this was not our experience whatsoever. Kendra did an outstanding job of leveraging the property's assets and preventing any issues from arising the day of. About 20 minutes before the ceremony start time, it was threatening to rain, but even though I was disappointed I was not at all worried--I fully trusted Kendra to execute a rain plan that would still result in a beautiful wedding. Luckily the skies cleared but I know Kendra would have handled it without any trouble for me, my dad or our guests. If there were any problems or questions, neither my husband nor I heard about them the entire evening. Everything flowed incredibly smoothly and the entire event was magical. We wanted a simple, minimalist, eco-friendly design, and Kendra not only executed it perfectly but added little surprise touches that stayed true to our vision while enhancing the atmosphere. She also went far above and beyond, before and during the event, assisting other vendors whenever needed. My husband and I are so, so grateful to Kendra for making our dreams come true! She is a consummate professional and a wonderful resource.
