Beautiful place beautiful atmosphere Butttttt the food is served cold .....The bar is very unstable and dangerous accidents ready to happen... don't recommend till that mobile bar is fixed

INCREDIBLE SERVICE!!!! Venue 833 is under new management, so I hope this gets to the new team. Dazz Events did an AMAZING JOB. I got married at the venue on 9/2/23 and Michelle and her team exceeded all of my expectations! The staff was incredibly helpful and always available. They helped serve, bartended, and even helped me clean. Everyone raved over how awesome the staff was. I highly recommend. The venue is stunning and the team is just as great! I cannot thank you guys enough for all you did to help our big day go smooth and be as beautiful as it was!

My husband and I had our wedding at Venue 833 and we loved our experience. Tammie Scott is beyond amazing! She's very detailed, very personable, and you can tell she truly wants your day to be as special as it can be. She will be blunt and honest about things and trust what she has to say because she's definitely been in the industry for a very long time. We came in thinking we were just renting the space and the table & chairs. We had no idea a whole professional wedding coordinator was included. She really did bot have to go the lengths she did and she did. Aside from Tammie, the venue was beautiful and extravagant. We had so many compliments on the venue we chose. And people did not expect it because of the city we were in. (Modesto of all places!) Definitely a hidden gem. Because it was already so nice on the inside, we did not even hire a decorator. I spent maybe $150 on greenery from Costco to put as centerpieces per table and had enough to add to sweetheart table, my bouquet, and the welcome table. The con: Although the layout looked so extravagant, it was difficult to not offend some family members because we had to seat some upstairs. Some did complain they felt excluded because they couldn't really see the sweetheart table or the "stage" part of the venue and they couldn't really hear what was being announced as well. However, they do have screens upstairs and downstairs and we could have projected a live screening so that the people sitting upstairs could watch us during the ceremony or dinner time and then go downstairs when it was time to party. And we'd recommend getting a good DJ that has quality equipment in order to project to the upstairs guests. Our DJ had so many technical difficulties and did not come prepared.Overall, we still had such a great time and would chose this venue all over again!

Venue 833 is one of the nicest venues in the Central Valley! So glad to see downtown Modesto thrive with this new venue right next to the Gallo Center of the Arts. Celebrated my Dad's 60th birthday there and it completely exceeded my family's expectations. The owner, Jaime and the management team assisted us every step of the way to make sure the event was planned to perfection. The venue itself is beautiful, two story, spiral staircase and floor to ceiling glass windows. It is truly a beautiful venue and my family is extremely thankful to the entire Venue 833 team. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a venue in the area.

1 star.....DISAPPOINTED AND EXTREMELY DISATISFIED such a beautiful location...unfortunately some of the staffing was rude and dishonest! The lack of communication and failure to return calls created unnecessary issues for my event...total nightmare! nothing is done in writing. the venue coordinator refuses to give itemized up to date invoice. (waits until the day before and then changes pricing. Not professional at all! verbally agreed and confirmed one thing and deliveref another. On the day of my event and during my event the security walked potential customers through my daughters wedding to show them the venue. the sales coordinator promised one thing and after paying in full for what was agreed upon. provided another as well as overcharged for services that were never provided.be prepared...they also mistreat your guests.check the recent Yelp reviews.Did not take the safety of guests seriously, the furniture is not safe/unstable and was told that they were aware of it and did not replace, fix or remove the Furniture for my event.

Venue 833 is a gorgeous spot, the venue is a 5 star venue with excellent employees. Brandi is great! She made sure everything was taken care of for our twins 16th birthday. She made sure the entire process was stress free for us. Marian was helping me set up and had great attention to detail. Sara the bartender had a great attitude and was a pleasure to work with.Thank you Brandi and Venue 833 team for making our party a success.Elbra Poulus

We utilized this venue for our Annual Crab Feed and it was a great experience. The venue itself is beautiful with all the amenities you would need to host any event. We were able to utilize the sound system and access the tv monitors with no complications. The location of the venue is perfect being right in downtown Modesto. Tami was absolutely amazing with the planning, coordination and support throughout the whole process making it enjoyable and way less stressful planning an event for 350 people. From day 1, she had seating maps and line item pricing of all charges and services so there was never a question of what was being charged and it broke down everything that was being paid for. She also had the resources to accommodate any extra needs we had up to, and throughout the event. The bartenders and security that were provided were very professional and trustworthy. We will not only host our event there again but look forward to it.

Pretty venue, not very large and everything was very packed for an event with less than 200 people. The major downside was that from the moment we walked in it was EXTREMELY hot. This made the event very miserable and hard to dance and have fun due to the heat. If it wasn't for that it would have been much more pleasant.

Just attending my sister in laws family wedding and comes to find the company hid food and desserts and bottles of alcohol as well as chips that were suppose to be handed out. I would never recommend this place!! And have nerve to say bride and family can't take their own wedding cake that THEY purchased. The company not only did they try to hid food and liquor and chips in cabinets they did not hand out any waters or chips and salsa to the tables. There is going to be another party on 01/07 and they tried to hide the liquor and everything from our party to make profit on the next event! If anyone book them I would change the venue! Shady people and shady company!! Not only stealing from us but not even do the job they were hired to do! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS SHADY COMPANY!

Beautiful venue that has been wonderfully updated. The staff is very professional and friendly. We booked our daughter's wedding reception here with high expectations and Venue 833 turned out to be a perfect choice.
