Valverde Park

It was boring. It didn't have a whole lot of flavor. There wasn't really much to do besides play basketball but the courts nice

My favorite thing about this park is that they have a swing that's attached to a baby swing,, so I can swing at the same time as my baby right in front of me

Suuuuuper cute park. Larger structure with 1 regular swing.Smaller structure with 2 baby swings. Fire truck. Bathrooms (and no homeless!). Plenty of picnic tables. Huge grassy area.Lots of benches

The entire neighborhood where the park is located is clean, nice, and peaceful. The Veterans Memorial is a nice compliment to the park grounds. Although, it was super hot the day I visited, there were plenty of shaded areas and cool breezes blowing. The gymnasium is right at the front of the park along with parking. A fountain play area is right before you enter the grass area (if I were smaller I would have joined the kids). This is a great place to have a barbeque or birthday party.

Best park to walk for parents and kids to play. 4 basketball courts and field to play soccer, football and baseball. 2 thumbs u.

My daughters fav park in Manteca/Lathrop area but they removed the only swing ??? Come on bigger kids need swings too not just the baby bucket ones .... bring a scooter or bike and ride the nice path, play ball or frisbee. ...it really is a nice park!

My son loves it (he's 5). It's nice and clean with lots of shade. Will be making this our home park while we're in the area. Nice path for a walk or bike ride around the park. Lots of benches for parents to sit and watch the kids.

Loved this park!!!! We took our 3 kids and 2 nephews for a fun filled day! We literally spent hours there! The kids were ages 5 to 12 and all of them had a blast!

Awesome park! Clean restrooms, nice playground and rides for the kiddies! Enough basketball courts for everyone! Just need a tad bit more parking and it'll be perfect!

How could you not comment on one of Lathrop's most newly renovated parks. One of only three of the City's biggest parks next to Sangalang and Mossdale. Truly, One of my favourite parks in the City.You could spend hours here, either playing horseshoes (bring your own equipment), playing in the fields or on the courts (basketball only). There always something going on and people around. I usually like to take walks around the parks and just lay out on the grass. Sound cheesy? I kinda am. I love just hanging out here. During the Spring/Summer time the newly renovated shelters usually book up quickly. City staff is located onsite. Either at the Community Center or the Senior Center. Don't forget the interactive fountain that's located front and center! When the heat strikes the park is flooded with waves of kids and adults looking to cool off.
