Valley Hi park is located in the heart of South Sacramento. It's in a prime location near the light rail, Cosumnes River College, the high school and so much more. It's not as updated as many of the other parks but it has a great walk/bike path, scenery, area for BBQs, basketball court, soccer and other outside activities. Unfortunately the little play area in the middle was burned down last year and they still haven't fixed it . I hope the city steps up and does something about it.It's a huge park. It's more than a mile around when we walk the path. My son loves going out and seeing the dogs and running around in the grass. They have single exercise spots along the pathway you can stop at to add a little extra to your workout. It's not in the most safe location but coming during the day is great!!!

Valley Hi Community Park is located in the City of Sacramento and is part of the City of Sacramento Department Parks and Recreation. The park is a massive 16.39 acres in size and seems to extends for miles ! On the West side of the park you will find the baseball/softball diamond , a full basketball court, a volleyball sand pit, and an dinosaur theme adventure play area for the the older children. As you walk towards the center of the park, you'll come across the horseshoe pit, the younger children's play area and the picnic tables with BBQ's .The three soccer fields are distributed equally within the park. One on the West end, one near the center, and one on the East end. When visiting parks, always be aware of your surroundings and always visit during day time hours! Have fun and most importantly be safe !
