Valley Differentials

Miles is a stand up mechanic who didn't try and sell me a service that wasn't needed nor required. He installed Nitro gears in my 68RFE transmission and had it done on schedule! So far things have been going great. I would recommend and use this shop again.

Starting off the owner, Miles, is an amazing man and really communicative. He is very reliable as I had dropped off my very rare 3.23lsd, and I received it and am extremely amazed at the results of the product. It works amazing in my BMW. More importantly, Miles was able to contact me and keep me updated as he was rebuilding my differential during a shop change. I am extremely happy for the price I paid as it was definitely worth the money, affordable, and for a first timer I'd recommend you come here as you'll leave happy!

this is a review many years in the making. recently had to go to stockton for something and came out to old west ln. i guess valley diff isn't there any longer. but pleased to see they are still in stockton. i took my 1996 chevrolet impala SS to get new diff put in many moons ago. at the time i was living in oakland; some folks referred me to miles saying he's best in the biz. i remember miles being a kind fella and easy to talk to. definitely got my supersport right. these days i'm in sacramento, and i still have my super sport. i know if i need to get something done for the rear end, i'll definitely give miles a call.

I found Valley differentials on yelp! I travel for work and really rely on yelp to find trusted places. Literally can't say enough good things about Myles and his little shop here in Stockton! I rolled into town with a rear differential on my jeep going out... I just had it serviced at the dealership back home and the dingleberries forgot to put oil back in the Differential! And of course they gave me every excuse under the sun other than that they made a serious mistake! There was a bit of a wait to get into Valley differential, but it was worth it. He had it fixed and back on the road within a day and a half, and for a very fair price. He even recommended a Alignment Shop in town to help me get my suspension set up on my jeep. Very thankful I found these guys!

I had my 68 Mustang stock rear end replace by a 355 posi and it is absolutely professionally done by Valley Differentials and it is fantastic. Very reasonable with top quality and professional job. ( Miles, the owner, is so super and kind, to deal with. My car was done on time as promised. I highly recommend Valley Differentials for your rear end needs.

We took my moms Toyota 4Runner here. I believe it was Miles who helped us. I apologize if I got the name wrong. He was extremely nice and willing to work with us for some time restraints we had. Brought in my 59 Chevy truck to change gears. Miles was professional and went the extra mile. The cost was more than fair and the truck goes faster. No more holding up traffic. Miles is an awesome old school mechanic that knows his stuff. Glad to have found him!!

If you have any need what so ever for differential repair, service, inspections, you name it... Myles at Valley Differential is absolutely your man for the job!! I cannot stress enough just how great of a guy he is and his work is as solid as it comes. Not to mention he backs up all of his work 100% with the included warranty. He did a full build in my 1972 Pontiac GTO/Lemans which included all bearings, seals, Eaton posi, and 3:55 gears. It was an 8.25 BOP rear and required a different yoke that would he would have had to order and would have delayed things, but Myles being the great guy he is, he was able to make a few calls around to friends in the industry and found me a yoke to be compatible with my requested gear setup. To top it all off.... he didn't charge me one penny over the original quote, and even got it done before the date promised. Once done he took the time to chat about proper additive (FORD friction modifier), proper break-in, and any other questions I had throughout the whole thing. The Lemans is still going strong and that was over 6 years ago! I have made it a point to tell anyone and everyone I talk to that I know needs some type of differential related work, or plans on getting some work in the future about Myles at Valley Differentials, and when I saw his business listed here because I needed his number to call about some work on my truck, I wanted to make sure to take the time to leave him a review here as well because I cannot say enough good things about Myles, his business, and the way he conducts himself and his business in general. If you read nothing else just know this... A++++ work, great guy, completely fair prices, solid quality work, and the last mechanic you will need as far as anything differential related!! Don't even hesitate to call and talk to Myles and I know he will take great care of you and your vehicle. Keep up the great work Myles, we need more solid guys like you in the industry!

I was reviewing my records to find Valley Differentials to recommend them to a friend. I found the paperwork from May of 2004, they had replaced diff gears in my El Camino and added a posi. It is still running great never had an issue. I did follow their break in instructions to the letter.Thanks Gordon Thielvoldt

Went here based on 5 star rating for regearing and lsd's put on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler. The customer service is excellent and patient with questions. Was completed on time and everything , thus far, is working fine. Gently breaking in the new gears now. I'll update if I have any issues. But as of right now it's a five star rating!!
