Valensin Vineyard & Winery

Had a mother's & daughter day at this winery and we had such a good time! Our host (I wish I remembered his name) was AMAZING. He was extremely accommodating to our party by allowing us to taste wines we were uncertain about without charging us. This is the perfect winery for a girls day or a date. It's small but beautiful!

Place is a cute little tucked a way spot. Very updated and super cute. Just note that it's a bit of dirt roads you have to walk through to get to the actual site. I'd have to say it's not an upper scale winery If that's what you're looking for. It's more relaxed and casual. However, you can dress to impress for yourself. They have seating on the dock and the rest are picnic tables and chairs near the water side. So along side of the dirt and sand areas. The workers are friendly. They get pretty busy but fairly attentive. So they just take a bit of time. They have a good variety selection of wine. Enough to cater to each kind of tasting. They do flights. They normally would have a food truck there for food. We came as a casual day outing to sip and talk so we didn't expect too much. I would return to hangout another time.

I've had my eye on the Winery for awhile. Who can pass up this super blue water backdrop? Lol My sister and I did a tasting on Saturday afternoon and we were actually pretty disappointed with their wine offerings. The white wines and rose all tasted watered down. Really wasn't enjoyable. The reds were great though. Atleast the staff were friendly and quick. The winery itself is pretty but I can imagine it gets full quickly as it's not the largest space.

We came here yesterday for the Mother's Day Sip & Shop event. It was a beautiful day shopping from local businesses and sipping peach mango wine. (Not too much - my responsible sister only took a couple of sips since she was driving) We also took free photos at the photo booth and had a lovely time.

An awesome experience as always! Melissa Corona was performing and all the tables were filled. The Crowd was pleasant and it was so comfortable to relax in the patio. There are plenty of choices in the area but Valentines is the place to go if you don't want drama and enjoy yourself andGreat time!

This Vineyard is such a beautiful venue for events or just to come and relax, sip some wine and enjoy the gorgeous, scenic views. There are several small parking lots here, so parking shouldn't be too much of an issue unless there's a big event taking place, then you may have to park on the street.There is an indoor bar area where you can order drinks. Right outside of that is a patio area which has plenty of tables and chairs on the dock that has wrap-around views of the lake. There is also a long strip of the "beach" area with sand that also has shaded areas under the umbrellas and tables and chairs. There is a huge outdoor tent that is used for live music and dancing for special events. The lake is absolutely gorgeous! The water is so beautiful and serene and the surrounding trees and greenery combined with the sand definitely adds very calm and nature vibes. The ambience was perfect. The staff were all extremely friendly and professional. Service was wonderful. I would definitely return and highly recommend this place if you want to have a nice and relaxing day with a lake

This review is specifically for yesterday's Yelp Elite event in celebration of Women's History Month at Valensin Vineyard & Winery (Sunday, 3/24/24). The event ran from 12-4 pm and as a Yelp elite member, I received free admission into the event as well as free samples at every popup shop. +1s and friends could enter a coupon code online to receive discounted admission. I brought my husband along! We arrived right at 12 pm so we could check in asap and enjoy our afternoon. Valensin sits on 40 acres in a beautiful area of Galt and sports their own private waterskiing lake! There is plenty of waterfront seating with comfy outdoor Adirondack chairs. Upon checking in to the event, we were given a glass of wine and a keepsake cup. I chose the pomegranate sparkling wine while my husband chose the rose. I love a good sparkling wine and these were excellent. We sipped our wine, shopped around and supported the women-owned businesses, grabbed some delicious food, and spent a relaxing afternoon by the lake. There were a few species of birds flying about as well, and as someone who enjoys birdwatching, I appreciated the shorebirds and barn swallows gracing our presence. When we finished our first glasses of wine, we decided to try some other flavors. My husband really liked my pomegranate sparkling wine so he ordered that for his second glass. I wanted to get the peach mango sparkling wine and it was definitely my favorite wine of the day. It was perfectly bubbly, had wonderful notes of both peach and mango (neither outcompeted the other), and was very refreshing. Our CM Rachel of Yelp Sacramento was amazing at putting this event together. It was extremely well-organized, complete with live music from an all-woman band! The grounds at Valensin were beautiful and I don't think I could have asked for a more relaxing day, or a better first Yelp Elite event for me. I would love to return and try some other wines that Valensin has to offer. I noticed they offered flights in other reviews and I would be keen on trying one next time. On our most recent trip to the Sacramento/Clarksburg area, we decided to try a new place before hitting our usual destinations. Valensin Vineyards was recommended and did they ever live up to it! The setting was beautiful with a lake, covered (and not covered) places sit and enjoy. It was quiet and peaceful and was a bit of an oasis in my opinion. We tried a couple flights of wine which were all very good. We had excellent and knowledgeable service from the host who was there. She was friendly, funny and made the experience quite nice. Yes, we did end up buying a few bottles to partake in later. Very well done and glad we stopped in! Cheers!

Had a great time at Velensin. It was our second visit. Staff was very accommodating. Live music under the tent was good. They had one BBQ food vendor. Platters looked enticing, just wasn't in the mood for the platters. Sitting along the shore of the lake was nice and relaxing after a long Friday at work. For sure a nice place to bring in the weekend on a Friday night.

this place is so cute. the vibes are definitely there but the service is not the best. we were definitely one of the youngest groups there and we showed up on a day where reservations/ tickets were required. we didn't mind. my boyfriend and i went and retrieved our glasses and it came with a free pour. we went inside the little tent and asked for our pours, the girl was almost clueless. i asked questions and it just seemed like she didn't know how to respond to them :/. we eventually got our pours and finished them. we decided we wanted a second round and went to go get a wine slushy. i asked for one and the guy who was behind the counter just shouts the price at me almost assuming like i didn't have money. i took it offensively but still bought the drink. coming from someone who has worked in customer service the last 5 years, the wine was great but the service was not great, at all.
