Horrible salesmen's here. Tried to go sell a car and had some expectations of the value of my car already with some offers from other dealership and was shopping around due to other dealerships trying to lowball me and add extras I didn't want. The saleswoman that greeted me told me they weren't going to do any better before I even walked into the door. Which I was okay with if since they insisted, I decided to cut my losses and move on instead of waste my time. But the saleswoman proceeded to try to get me to come inside. I didn't want to after that first 5 minutes but agreed. As I walked in she asked for my registration which was a first for me as other dealerships ask for only VIN and Make and Miles to start, but she demanded it. At this point it felt more confrontational and said no thanks and left. Not the way to sell a car.

I bought my mini van from this place 2 years later I called to schedule a car detailed cleaned! I was told on the phone 200 then when I showed up to my apt first they couldn't find my name. Then they told me $359 because it was a mini van and yes my car was a mess reason I need it detailed... Guy calls me 2 hrs later saying because of the condition of my car they could not clean it! (I had chips, gold fish, probably melted chocolate in seats) most of it was food... anyway I took my car down to 5 star car wash by home depot! Those guys charged me $68 did a quick vaccum and cleaned my windows and I gotta say they did fantastic job! Needless to say Honda has lost a customer! I have bought 2 cars from there and mm def not buying from that place or in fact getting anything from there! I told my husband if I should stop by Monday and show them what 5 star car wash did that they claimed it was too messy to get job done! But they aren't even worth my time to show them how they should had done their job.

I made a post in a local mom group asking about the best 3rd row suv for a family of 5. Adrienne, the finance manager made a comment on my post and said if I had any questions to message her. The universe heard I was looking for a new car and my current suv broke down a week later. I scheduled an apt with Adrienne to run our credit and give us our best options. I was concerned because we didn't have the best credit, we weren't planning on purchasing a car so we really didn't plan to spend on a down payment but I needed a reliable car. Before looking at any cars we sat down and discussed what I wanted. I mentioned my wants may not be realistic so hopefully she can just get me a car. In all honesty I wasn't really expecting to walk out of there with anything. I wanted to hear all the bad news and come back when we had better options. Not only did Adrienne deliver, but she gave me my wants plus more. We walked out of there with a better deal than what we were expecting. I jokingly told her to throw in another car, that's how good the deal was. I cried then; I'm crying right now writing this compliment. I appreciate her knowledge and kindness. She's truly a blessing. She talked with us and made us feel like we were catching up with an old friend. The dealership was busy for a Friday but we didn't feel rushed and it also didn't feel like we were there forever. Everyone in the building was super nice. We took our daughter and they offered her snacks and things to color. She was so well behaved. I can't wait to pay off this car just so I can buy from her again.

This review is for the parts department, specifically for Eamonn and Eric. These two are like Batman and Robin or Ernie and Bert in the parts department. For the past 8 months, every time I have lost a part or broken something while racing all three of my Civics, they have always been there to assist me in getting the right part. There have been times when I was unable to identify a part, but they were able to figure it out and procure it. Eamonn and Eric at Vacaville Honda make sure that their customers receive the right parts. If the GM is reading this, I suggest giving these two a medal for being awesome. Without them, I would have been paying excessive shipping prices to other vendors. Thank you to both of them. You should call them the "Dynamic Honda Parts Duo."

They are always professional and honest. The cashiers are usually understandably stoic since folks probably don't want to fork over an arm and a leg and what not but they're always solid and on time for us.

Early in 2023 we replaced our aging 2007 Odyssey with a brand new 2023 Odyssey. When we looked at this dealership, the closest dealer to our home, they essentially had little to pick from, presumably due to supply chain disruptions. We finally ended up in east Sacramento where they had a dozen Odysseys to choose from. We had shopped at several dealers and all of them told us that 2 years of routine preventive maintenance was included with every new Honda. In fact we were very clear that Honda offered this service because it was mentioned in Honda advertising.When our first service interval was signaled by the built-in Maintenance Minder at about 7400 miles, I first called Vacaville Honda because I didn't want to drive back to east Sacramento and because our selling dealer had told us that the free 2-year routine maintenance could be done at any dealer. I called Vacaville Honda, told them what I was calling about and was told that, no, they did not honor any such service agreement unless we bought the car at Vacaville Honda. So I went online and booked a same-day appointment for Express Service at out selling dealer in east Sacramento. I might have actually saved time because when I arrived, they took my Odyssey in immediately at the appointment time and I was out of there in less than an hour with an oil change and a tire rotation plus a car wash, all for exactly zero $$$. What I don't understand is that Vacaville Honda had a perfect opportunity to win me over as a customer who lives close by for the cost of a couple of oil changes and tire rotations over two years. Instead, their short-sightedness makes me wonder if I need ever consider going back there in the future.

Wow I am shocked at how awesome theseGuys are , specifically Jennifer the service manager and Dominic in the service dept . Everyone ( including myself until this ) thinks dealerships are only about the money and once the car is sold don't care at all . My story: 4 Months ago the transmission on my 2020 Pilot went out on the top of the Grapevine , with my wife , 3 young kids and myself stranded for hours . Got it back to Vacaville and they did a flush , said it was fine . I was very nervous since the warranty expired at 100,000 miles . FastForward 4 months ( at 95000 miles ) it startedGiving me problems again . I emailed Jennifer on Tuesday asking for help , I thought it would be a huge ordeal . Nope ! She had me bring it to Dominic and 2 days later I'm driving away with a new transmission ! TheseGuys are amazing , I can't thank you enough !

Tried calling the service department on 2 separate days. The first time the line was dead. The second time 2 weeks later, I got to an answering system and routed to service but nobody answered the phone. I then called another Honda dealer and got a person but the recall parts were not available. Honda is getting worse with its service. It was good a few years back.

Larry has always been wonderful to work with . Our family have purchased cars with him on many occasions. The most recent cash purchase was by our son and Larry was just an informative and helpful as ever. I took a point away because whoever they had detail the car after purchase needs to be taught how to properly detail a vehicle. It was ran through the car wash and then had soap residue that my son had to get off the car and windows himself. No door jams got cleaned and floors aren't vacuumed. I'm guessing nothing was wiped down properly if at all either . Let alone no possibility of it being waxed etc . Very unprofessional and disappointing to have that be considered detailed.

Kudos to Finance Manager Adrienne Schwartz. I bought an Accord in late May, 2024 and Adrienne handled the close. She's very personable, including listening well. Good sense of humor and well-organized. Didn't waste any time trying to sell junk add-ons. She had excellent insights on the various warranties, including prepaid maintenance. Her explanation of the cost-benefit on the statutory catalytic converter protection was also real helpful. She was definitely an asset in the sale process.The only reason for 4 stars, and not 5, was an error on the credit app that had nothing to do w/ the price, terms or the vehicle. It's entirely possible that someone else at the store made the mistake. I would absolutely work again w/ Adrienne, and would carefully consider her thoughts on certain add-ons.
