Turlock Inn

We needed a place to stay since the following morning we were going to a private ranch to do horseback riding. Since there was nothing in Delhi, we decided to stay here per the reviews on yelp.When we arrived, I rang the doorbell and was buzzed in, right behind me was the front desk gal who greeted me. She verified I had a reservation and made some suggestions on places to go and see.I told her thanks and we were in for the night. Next morning, we decided to get complimentary breakfast. The door was locked and I knocked on the door where Brandy opened and greeted me. She asked me what I wanted and made it for me. We talked about Turlock and where I was visiting. Overall the stay was good and if Im ever back in town, will definitely stay again.

My room was very clean and there was adequate parking. A lot of upgrades have been done and they've done a good job. The best part of my stay was meeting Brandie at the front desk! She was so pleasant went out of her way to help me when I left my wallet. I got it back with nothing missing!!

Very quaint, inviting,clean, comfortable bed.The owner and his pup welcomed us, suggested places to eat. The property is well maintained. It was pretty quiet but you can hear the trains go by occassionally. The recliner in the room was a nice touch. After driving nearly 10 hrs. It was nice to sit back and relax. The breakfast was continental juice, coffee, cereal, waffles, the nice touch was the owner served us and took the time to talk to us. We definitely will stay here next trip to this area.

No refrigerator or microwave. Dirty towels, clogged sink, no heater, no soap or shampoo. The ratchet ass Travelodge has more perks at cheaper prices. Tried to get the room again to sleep in & was told I have to checkout & check in at 3pm by the front desk. If you like cockroaches & waking up to housekeeping BANGING on your door before checkout, book here ! Never staying here again.

Was heading to a wedding in Modesto, and after reading a lot of reviews, this seemed like a good place. I was a little disappointed on arrival, because from the outside it seems like a motor court from the 50s.Check in was flawless, and upon entering my room, any disappointment went away. Nice basic room, but it was clean, with two bottles of water and a snack waiting for me. The manager had turned on the AC, so the 100 degree outside temps were but a memory. Nice amenities were in the bathroom, and there was a fridge and coffee maker available as well. Went up to Modesto for a rehearsal dinner, and was more than ready to hit the sack when I got back to my room. Looked like a large group in the next room, so was worried about noise. Didn't hear them at all. The rooms are quiet, no road noise, although you may hear an occasional train in the distance. All in all, a great place to stay.They do offer a light breakfast, and I have to say, the waffle was perfect. If I'm up this way again, I will definitely return to this inn.

Dirty, smelled like smoke, a capri sun wrapper in between the wall and the bed. Bits of vegetables in the sink drain. This place was groddy, and I would not recommend anyone stay here if they can avoid it. Maybe this place was good 10-15 years ago but it's definitely not anymore!

This hotel was extremely nice!! Didn't look like it would be very good but we were really surprised. The staff was awesome and the room looked like it was just built. Parking right in front of the room and very clean. This place is a real sleeper! Highly recommend it!

Nice place, and clean but cannot believe they fired up a leaf blower before 8am and started blowing the driveways outside the rooms.

This place is way past its prime! Deferred/lack of maintenance in ALL aspects is showing. The place is filthy. And management doesn't seem to care. I had made suggestions but almost everything has been ignored. They did take the pressure washer and cleaned the entry driveway and walkways once about 3 weeks after the suggestion. But from the photos, you can see for yourself that this place has seen better days.I'm not just a one and done kind of person. I stayed here probably 3 months over the past 8. And I only stayed because of the rewards points available. But I won't stay here again unless they clean it up. I've probably stayed in 25-30 different rooms and the same issues are in just about every room. From the torn shower curtains, dirty a/c units, stained/dirty carpets to the stained/dirty furniture to the mold/dirty bathroom walls, run down or broken furniture...it's all the same. Just a different room on a different floor.Management has been notified and they appear to be concerned, but no one has done anything to rectify these issues. It's sad, because the front desk people, although friendly, concerned but professional, can't or won't do anything but let the manangment know. And management does virtually nothing during the 90 nights over the 8 months I stayed.I have stayed at other hotels in Turlock and I would have to say that these other hotels or any other hotel has got to be better, CLEANER and better managed. Isn't Covid-19 supposed to cause better housekeeping, better cleaning methods and more concern over hygiene? This place definitely doesn't care or, at least, doesn't show it!

Taking a shower was out of the picture. I had to turn on the shower water to rinse out bugs. Bugs were found on pillows floors and other surfaces. Rooms should not be sold if room aren't being taken care of properly. Ridiculous cleaning service.
