Tumblebuddies

We had such a fun introductory class this morning! Check-in was a breeze and our 3 year old daughter had a blast. The instructor was so hands on and did an amazing job keeping the kids engaged. Great way to get the wiggles out! Parking was super easy too! Will definitely be back!

My son is neurodivergent and attends the sensory friendly session. He has a lot of energy so this was treat for him to get it out of his system. He is not one for paying attention well and getting involved, but he will play, watch and jump in where he is comfortable. With that in mind, the staff is incredibly patient, lets him go and engage at his own speed. In the session they do provide a bit of instruction to encourage them to try out new moves and tumbles. Our schedule is sporadic at times, so we go with the punch card form of membership so we can come and go as our schedule allows.Other tumbling places were too loud and overwhelming for my little one so this was an appreciated find!

Tumblebuddies is a small, clean storefront in East Sacramento close to River Park. It's layout for children to tumble and learn early gymnastics is welcoming and fun. It's location is in a small shopping center off Carlson Drive containing a laundry mat and a tattoo parlor. While I hoped to grab a little me time while the kids had their class, there isn't a coffee shop nearby. So I remained in the parents seating section during the kids 1 hour session. And you know, I don't regret it. It's a lot of fun to watch the coaches engage with students as they tackle various obstacles. Watching the kids climb, jump, balance, somersault and squat, the parents are just as amused as the kids. The energy the coaches put into the curriculum is entertaining as it is endearing. Coach Kyle and Linsey invent weekly themes, lessons and games. They are gentle, attentive and handle kids struggling to follow directions well.We attended tumblebuddies for years, starting with their first location near the Expo Area. My daughter (now age 6) participated as a baby. As a mom of a then 9 -18 month yr old, I appreciated having a padded play space for babies to test their new skills in balance and climbing. Tumblebuddies have a changing table available. It's a great space for new parents to spend time with their babies. My four year old son loves attending class with Coach Kyle. My son isn't as physically active as other boys, so it was nice to see him tackle a somersault or long jump. And he had fun doing it! I never participated in parents night out, where they babysit for two hours on a Saturday evening for a reasonable fee. But I plan to someday as I trust my kids will have fun and feel safe under Tumblebuddies care. Highly suggest for parents with little ones at home. Or pre k children looking for something to do. Now that we're full time in school, it's not as easy to attend. But we'll have to check out their evening sessions some time soon.

We absolutely love Tumble buddies! Both coach Kyle and coach Lindsay are wonderful. The classes are themed and so fun for the kids. My boys have learned a lot of basic gymnastics and look forward to their class every week. Definitely recommend for toddlers!!

March 3rd 2025 I signed my son up for the sensory gym at 4pm we went inside 3;47 to use the restroom as soon as we walked in the male teacher immediately screams very sternly at me and my autistic non verbal child "no shoes on our Matt ever" I take the shoes off we use the restroom get out my son starts jumping around not touching no other children just jumping stimming as I call to my child to come to me he comes up grabs my son pushes him off the Matt and says your next class don't touch or play with anything my son started crying everyone's staring he giggles about it and plays with all the other kids in his class at 4 I ask my son if he wants to play he screamed crying no for over 15 minutes saying scary as a autism mother I will always be my sons voice I've never been treated this bad in my life it's sad because they claim to be sensory and autism friendly that is not what we experienced he didn't even get a chance to play or try it because a grown man scared my son out of getting the chance to I was getting him on my own I'm his mother he didn't get to Experience gymnastics would not recommend or at least to Mexicans who knows I have no clue what they had against us it was our first time and our last be careful if your child is neurodivergent they are not friendly to that as I put it on everything when we signed up.

We have loved Tumblebuddies for years! My daughter attended Zumba when she was 2 (she's now almost 11) and loved it. She danced until Covid caused the studio to shut down in 2020. We have come back to Tumblebuddies for gymnastics for my 4 year old and she loves it! As soon as we are done she asks to go to another class. She asks all week long to go to gymnastics. She loves it so much we celebrated her 4th birthday there this past weekend. They set up all the decorations and served all the food to the children. It was weird not to have to host a birthday party, but definitely a good weird!! They had fun games and everyone had a blast. Highly recommend for gymnastic classes and birthday parties!

I am very disappointed in this business. I researched gymnastics studios extensively looking for private lessons. I left 3 voicemails, finally received a return call and was told they will check the schedule. It took them a week to confirm our appt. I picked up my daughter on a Friday and sat in rush hour traffic for an hour to get there by 4:00. We got there and it was dark inside, door locked. Called and texted and no response. We sat outside next to a tattoo parlor waiting and nothing. It's been 24 hours and no one has contacted me. I have a sad little girl that waited to get in and never got her lesson. Unbelievable!

We love Coach Kyle! He works so well with the kiddos, and brings the BEST energy every week. My daughter looks forward to her weekly gymnastics class and has the best time here. Thank you tumble buddies!
