Toilet clean.
Foggy Vallejo Morning
Slide outs make it tighter lol
Site layout
The front office and restaurants and laundry
Avoid site number 43. I understand that businesses try to get every penny they can, but what a horrible smell.
Very tight spaces
Long level pull-through sites with full hookups
Site number 43. You could see it backs up right to the garbage. Not sure, have to be pretty desperate to stay next to the garbage.

We stayed here because we have family in the Danville area and we couldn't find another campground with an opening for the dates we needed. If you are needing a place to just hook up and have sewer, water and electric then this would be fine. It is in a very sketchy area. Many homeless people and abandon vehicles, even a boat that was left on the side of the road right outside the campground. Nothing about this place or this area made me feel safe.

This RV park is great for its price. this is the third time we stayed at this park. They have two sections. In the back they have long-term renters that live month-to-month. In the front they have about 20 campsites that are upgraded and more for the short term or overnight campers. Since we head to California every summer for my kids to do Judo, we stay here for one week at a price of $250 a week. The bathrooms are clean, the spaces are quite tight, especially if you stay next to someone that has a slide-out that encroaches on your camp space. Since we are here to do Judo and the kids spend the day at Six Flags, we're not really in the space much, so it's not anything worth complaining about. Office closes every day from 12 noon to 2 PM. Also they close the bathrooms to be cleaned at this time.We originally tried to book this place for two weeks and when we arrived, it was noon and the office closes for two hours at lunchtime. Our site was assigned and unfortunately it was right next to the dumpster. I have included pictures, it was a horrible site and smelled like crap. We had to wait two hours for The staff to return. I pulled into one of the sites in front and waited. When the office girl return, I told her that the assigned site was an acceptable and that I noticed no one at the site in the front. She asked me to wait for 30 minutes until she could call the manager and switch the site if possible. They did switch the site, since we are only staying for seven days.Other than site 43 being horrible, we have no issues. I understand that businesses try to get every penny they can, but what a horrible smell. And the sounds of people throwing their trash away. There is no bench. No desire to eat dinner outside. Check the picture.Tradewinds is close to the highway and you can hear cars and trucks pass on I-80 but it's really not an issue for us. And it does seem to be situated between a homeless camp and a couple of low grade mobile home parks. But we never saw or heard any issues.

Well I know this was a highly rated RV Park, but I put it at a 2 or 3 stars.Asphalt and gravel, what green there was, was artificial and small. Because of the asphalt, walking my dog was not easy as asphalt gets hot. I took her to what they call a dog park, was real grass, but had not been mowed in a month and someone let their little dog poop all over it and it was not cleaned up. So I opted to walk her outside the park, but that too was not a good experience, people living in their vehicles everywhere and it was dirty and a lot of garbage. The only redeeming part was the excersions. BTW it was so windy that sitting outside was not much of an option, and the RV spaces were very cramped. Needless to say, we will not be going there again. I did not feel the staff was very friendly either, and they were closed everyday from 1-3 (I am not sure why).

Don't stay here more than a night, and only if you have no other choice. You won't be able to anyway if your RV is more than 20 years old, no matter how pristine it looks. You'll be next to a freeway, so you'll hear that noise constantly. Access is a pain for the most part. Sites aren't level at all. Plenty of dilapidated RVs park on the street beside the place. There's a seedy motel next door to the south and a row of trailer parks to the north. Just beyond the motel is an overpass with a homeless encampment. You'll need to use that dilapidated overpass and make a number of complicated turns, particularly stressful if you've got a big rig. My partner didn't even want to come here based on the bad reviews and the sketchy area, but I figured what's the harm, we're only here for a week max. Turns out my RV doesn't make the cut because of the age of its shell (it's a conversion). Of course, the long-termers here have some pretty sketchy looking RVs, and look pretty sketch themselves, but I guess they aren't subject to the 20-year rule, so I suppose the actual rule is "don't have anything that looks unique or that the owner doesn't like." Fair enough - apparently they don't seem to be hurting for money, as all the spaces around me have been empty for our entire stay, but you would think my money would be as green as all these apparently brand new RV owners they've been courting! Sad. Never again.

Sketchy Urban RV park if you aren't scared...periodt. When we pulled up (on Mamas) there was a sideshow popping off on the next street over. Yes I could see the lights from the cars. Yes one of the long term tenants proceeded to yell "shut the f@$* up, we're sleeping over here". Yes there are plenty of transient population in the immediate area. Yes I talked to the regulars and they were cool af. Yes I walked my dogs on property at night with no worries or threats. The facilities were cool and the laundry experience was good. Well priced and no bum dryers. I even found some reading material in the laundry about a family who adopted hella kids. Great skim. The registration process is easy but unsettlingly loose. I was left a legit envelope on a bulletin board with my confirmation (no personal info except last name). Really gave me the GriswoldEffect. They have split shifts so if you need something just call. We were right in the front which made it easy for facilities, garbage, and entrance/exit access. We stayed for three days and had a ball. Easy access to the Carquinez but sign up for FastTrack before you go...seven bucks as 2022. Did I mentioned the Neighbors. Cool peeps in the Park. Plenty of pups for your pups to meet. When we come back to the Bay, I'll definitely be at the Tradewinds because the prices can't be beat and I'm #urbanasf

This park is a no-frills, clean convenient place for a night or two. You can get here without driving through the city, leave your RV, and drive into San Francisco in about 35 minutes with no traffic. Or drive 18 minutes to Richmond and take BART into the city. The bathrooms are cleaned every day and well supplied. It's not a scenic destination or resort. If you want to hang out in nature at your campsite, go to Napa Bothe, Mount Diablo, or another state park, but those have no hookups. If you want to spend your time in San Francisco and just come back to sleep, this is great. It's right off the freeway, but a sound wall cuts down the noise.

We knew before we arrived that the spaces are close together, but that didn't bother us as we used this great location as our "base" to visit family, friends, area attractions and more. We have a 45' Class A Motor coach and tow a vehicle. We communicated this early and the RV park got us into a space (#26) that worked. Please remember this park was built long before Motor-coaches and fifth wheels with slides! They have worked to accommodate with the footprint they have! The park was clean, well maintained, office staff very friendly and the folks that live on site were all very nice. Many work at the area refineries. The office will give a great packet of information about grocery, pharmacies and other points of interest. The road leading in had three dumped (assumed occupied) vehicles plus trash. However, after a few days those were gone, trashed was gathered/piled up and getting loaded into a trailer for removal. I-80 is adjacent and some traffic noise can be heard. The motel next door has been remodeled and is clean, newly painted and their grounds were maintained also. We will definitely be back!!
