Besides the rude people leaving reviews on here, you can't expect something so fancy, this is a historical inn with a lot of history in it. The owner is very friendly and down to earth and it's not pricey.

I was sent to Tracy Inn by Salvation Army because I'm homeless. The inn is really old you can tell it was built in 1927. The good thing its very spacious. The linen and blankets are probably old as the building. The maintennace keeps the thermostat on high air conditioning. It was so cold!! I was shivering. The front dest clerk said its controlled by maintenance and theyre the only one that control it and theyre on vacation. The staff are courteous only because they have to be, doesn't make you feel welcome. My friend payed for 2 more night. I will pick another place to stay I wouldn't recommend to no one. Tracy Inn should invest in upgrades and a laundry room in the near future. They can use hospitality and customer service training. Very cold in the room and the staff.

The hotel has real world old time feel and the décor in the lobby makes you feel like you stepped back into the 1920s. The pool is clean and refreshing to dip yourself in on a hot day. It's close to downtown shopping in Tracy and one of the restaurants that shares real estate in the building was a Mexican restaurant and the food was four star quality! And if you like margaritas you've gotta try one. The rooms are clean but could use some serous TLC. If you're a woman, to stay there by yourself in the evening is not recommended, but if you have to lock yourself in and find something good to watch on TV. The other guests of the hotel aren't exactly your neighbors across the street. The counter help is nice and they try to help you with any questions.
