I love Tracy's historical museum! David and John were so kind, even gave me and my 6 yo ( a blooming historical buff) a tour and space ( to color as his attention span is very sporadic). Although we had to leave early, we were able to learn some of history of how Tracy came about from Lathrop Tracy. David is such a calm and kind soul, that his story telling was so captivating and inclusive to all the ppl on our tour. Also, I would like to add that we are coming from out of state and they opened the museum up for us and we're so kind about welcoming us to the Tracy Historical Museum!

This place used to be Tracy's old Post Office. It is a nice little museum and I found the docent to be very sweet and had much knowledge about Tracy. Once I got her talking, we chatted it up quite a bit. They have lots of stuff the was donated from Tracy families and Mr. Banta. They even have some oral history stories, which I did not listen to, but maybe next time I will. They also have some really amazing handmade cards (greeting cards) in the front selling for $2. very high quality so I bought a few!

This little place has great exhibits and artifacts. An ideal place to introduce kids to local history.
