Township 9 Park

Township 9 Park is a nice, quaint park with beautiful views of Sacramento. It is a wonderful place to take a nice stroll along the trail by the river or on the levee. There are also several benches available for seating. Overall, it's very peaceful and I recommend coming here.

Great new park, located along the jewel of the American River. Homeless people but hey it's Sacramento.

Took my kids here to ride their BMX bikes around the dirt tracks they have. The tracks were in decent shape, could use some work but the kids enjoyed it. Was pretty much empty besides some guys driving RC cars around when we were leaving. The things surrounding this are what gets it 3 stars in my opinion. There are people living out of cars, trucks, vans, campers on the street across from the dirt track. Tweaker looking people just hanging out. I can't imagine moms would want their preteen boys coming here alone with all the random people hanging around. Then, the other side near the river has homeless encampments complete with piles of trash, barking dogs, and poop buckets. On the side opposite the homeless encampment there is what appears to be a housing project, which I can only assume by looking at the residents and their cars. Not a bad place, but this is a perfect example of the ineptitude California's ruling class. Recreation next to homeless, next to projects, next to highway patrol station, next to the work release program building, right around the corner from the court house. Everything you'd ever need!
