Tony's Donut & Grill

Life brought me and my family to Empire and it was a delicious lunch choice. We would always order the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. Always nice warm service by Tony and wife. They will be missed. Can't wait to go back.

The second-best donut in Modesto is hidden at this hole-in-the-wall shop. The cake donut is just a teeny bit crisp on the outside (so, different in style from Mr. T's) and fluffy on the inside. Selection is varied but not huge -- the strength seems to be in cake and old-fashioned donuts. On my visit, there were also apple fritters and three varieties of filled donuts. I did not see crullers or chocolate cake donuts.Don't be put off by the neighborhood (it's just light industrial, nobody's going to bite you) or the building (California rural architecture is like this -- the cheerful mural is a sign that someone is serious about this business).

Delightful 24hr treat right off Highway 132. Give this a try if you're passing through! Wide selection & quick service. No public bathroom though.

Love the freshly baked donuts an croissants .. perfect every time!! I'm never disappointed here. Happily give my five stars.

Best chicken bowl in the area don't let the building run you away way better chicken quality then teriyaki king and better overall. Only chicken bowl place I like. Just get it we'll done if you like it cooked more

Food is very good, you should try this place! Very reasonably priced. My opinion the chicken and beef are out of this world

Best place in Empire hands down. They'll rub your feet as a bonus if you order the egg rolls. You have to ask for their special sauce if you want that. The vibe is casual and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for breakfast or brunch. I tried their signature donut and was blown away by its freshness and flavor--light, fluffy, and not overly sweet. The breakfast sandwich I ordered was equally impressive, packed with quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this gem!

worse place EVER!!!! must of change owners . They mixed old chicken in their plates. I got food poisoning from eating this. I went to the emergency actually. The food is not fresh. Its like they mixed old with new. Donuts are hard and stale. Donuts are not fresh. These people should be reported. Not sanitary at all, inside the place is dirty. I will never come to this place.

this place has THE BEST teriyaki chicken I've ever had in my life I highly recommend and it's for a reasonable price as well. my favorite thing to get from here is a teriyaki chicken plate and a cream filled donut :)
