Tommy's Cafe

Tommy's is always consistently good! Every time we're there the waitresses are so friendly, service is fast, restaurant is clean and food is good. Extensive menu and very portions. We usually share a meal - they are huge!

First time here. The food was delicious. Just how a small cafe should be. Big servings at a good price. Definitely going to be my new breakfast place. Staff welcoming and friendly.

First time here. Wow so many menu options! It's packed in this place so be prepared to be snug. One bathroom stalls, on for men's and one for women's. The coffee is a must and they refill. It's strong so just an fyi, but that's the kind I like. The staff is super friendly and the food comes in good portions. I plan to come back for lunch!

I completely judged this book by its cover. Ok, this restaurant looks very outdated. It's located in an area where it seemed a bit sketchy but to be honest, the best food always comes from these type of areas. I'm not from Stockton so I could be judging the area a little too much. We gave it a go and walked in. Food was smelling delicious! The host had this fun energy vibe to her and it made us feel good. We were seated with menus and service right away. We ordered the Mexican omelette and Chicken Fried steak. It looked delicious and it tasted delicious! I really enjoyed my breakfast.Overall, even tho the outside seemed outdated, the food inside was delicious however, I did use the restroom and it was very dirty but overall, this review is fully based on my breakfast experience.I do recommend this place as you will walk out with a full stomach. Great size portioned plates for a great price.

Fast service good food. The place has booths and tables it open and clean. Eggs served hot. Even though it was crowed service was fast.

The retro divey exterior implies this will be a hidden treasure of well-made diner food, but... lunch there was uneven and disappointing. Omelet and scrambled eggs were both made from liquid eggs and were greasy. Waffle had a great texture, but so much vanilla that it was a distinct aftertaste. Bacon was perfect! Iced tea was surprisingly good.Service makes the call that it's two stars rather than three. Our server took our orders (with much explaining to her of what the menu said), then came back five minutes later with menus to start over as if she'd never seen us before. My waffle was missing its syrup. Dad had to explain to servers who were merrily bidding him "goodbye! have a nice day!" that he'd like to pay the check before leaving. Had the food been great, it would have been comic -- but with mediocre food, it was so irritating.If it's your neighborhood restaurant, you can probably figure out how to make this a favorite hangout -- it was certainly busy enough to suggest lots of people have! -- but if you're a visitor from out of Stockton, there are plenty of better restaurants on Pacific.

This restaurant has always been good, since the establishment at Wilson way before here. Nice and great service. Food is alot for what you pay for, so you'd likely not be famished after lol.

Service was horrible! I didn't get the omelette I ordered, bacon was burnt, I said potatoes she gave me hash browns, she brought me cottage cheese instead of sour cream, we had to ask if she was going to take our drink order, then she didn't bring the drinks until after she brought the meals, we had to remind the waitress. Breakfast was high priced. Horrible experience for being there for the first time. Will not return.

Service was great and food was made in a timely manner. The food was good quality and portions were not small but not too big either.

Good food. Great and friendly service. Could use a little updating or upkeep but it is a nice spot. Lots of selection.
