We popped in before some wine tasting. My hubby and I split the soup and grilled cheese. The owner was great. Happy to split it for us and frankly when the soup came out I didn't look split. A very good size tasty bowl of tomato soup. Perfect for a fall day. The establishment is clean and the staff were super friendly. I could tell that this place is made with love and the owners clearly care about quality service and food. We will certainly return. Thank you for a great experience.

We stopped here on our way back from having lunch at villa toscana and I'm glad we did. It's too bad we were full and didn't try the food. The place is cute and comfortable and the owners are A++, very friendly and accommodating. We did get to sample some chocolate truffles and if they were any indication of how the food is going to be then this place will be one of my new favorites.

Super comfortable surroundings with a mix of quality service, food, and wine at decent prices. Family owned and operated makes it special. Menu changes weekly.

Amazing little wine bar. Plymouth has always been a stopping point for me when I'm in the area. Now that I discovered tin roof, it is an automatic trip as long as I'm close. I'm working my way through the wine cocktails - so far Mojito and Cosmo have been incredible.See you guys in two weeks, thanks!

Again, just fantastic. Had a charcuterie board custom made for our vegetarian preferences (by request) and the eggplant bruschetta was absolute perfection. The woman (owner) in the kitchen at the Tin Roof can throw down some delicious and exciting food. Bartender suggested the Lodi Zin for me and a local IPA for the dude- perfect suggestions. It was a gorgeous day to sit outside and snack on some gourmet nosh paired with delicious booze, all for under 60 bucks. Support small business and make the drive to Tin Roof!

Stopped in after work to have a glass of wine and a light bite. They had a great selection of wines on their list and reasonably priced! The owners were very kind and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. I had a charcuterie board to complement my wine and I must say it was a nice selection of cheese they had. I worked fine dining for many years so I tend to be picky lol but this place does not disappoint. Between the great service and good wine and cheese, I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Starving and all places served wine or beer but didn't matter so we ate at the Lil place. Decent food but value ...no...too pricey for amount u get. Service was great. Don't know if I would go back. Like 8 things on menu and were our of the original appetizer was sold out. We shared housemate chips n gorgazolla dip (so yummy), Asian chicken wraps and French dip. Very unique ambiance that's for sure. Based on a speak easy vibe.

This is our second visit and they have made some changes. First the venue itself with additional seating and just a great vibe throughout and the food!!! Definitely a step up from the first time we visited which was early 2021....the food then seemed frozen....if the food this time came from a frozen product, my hat off to the chef who threw it in the microwave!!! Just a very cool spot to hang out, drink and enjoy good food and the owners are just a bonus.... Very welcoming and you feel like old friends. We will be back!!!!

Absolutely delightful visit on a Friday afternoon... My wife and I split (we're both well over 70 and don't eat so much any more) the chicken-artichoke panini with antipasto skewers... Delicious!!! We paired those with a fruity Avio Pinot Grigio and could not be more pleased... The prices on the menu are so fair that it is almost shocking... So: Five stars for the food...The renovated Drytown building is literally "tin roofed" as their name implies... It is set up as a lounge with spaced seating where a couple or two can quietly enjoy the menu, the wine, the ambiance and each other in total comfort... No hustle, bustle of so many typical bar rooms... So: Five stars for the ambiance... As hosts, the owners, Cris and Rachael, made us feel welcome beyond words... Fun conversation about their new venture here in Amador County... They are committed to becoming a real part of our community... I think they will do just fine... As table servers, they have it down perfectly: totally informed on each menu item, prompt, correct delivery of our order and appropriate checking to see that all was well without interfering with our conversation... So: Five stars for staff and service...Bonus: There's an intimate dining room that can accommodate up to six guests... It is beautifully set off the main lounge area as a very nice added touch... I suspect that as we reach the holidays at the end of the year, there will be a battle among very satisfied guests (ourselves included) for reservations in that room...All in all, the Tin Roof Wine Cafe is a wonderful addition to the dining experience in Amador County... We look forward to a long and fun relationship with the owners...

Got into town wanting to find a place to eat in the small town of Plymouth. Decided to try Tin Roof Wine Cafe as they also have a few menu items to choose from. This particular evening we ordered drinks and for dinner we had a barbecued chicken pizza and poblano green chili enchiladas with a side of rice. Both meals were exceptional, very delicious and just the right amount of food. The owner gave us a recommendation to a local winery along with a free tasting coupon...this too was exceptional! If you're ever in Plymouth, CA definitely plan to visit Tin Roof Wine Cafe you won't be disappointed.
