Tibon's Goju Ryu Fighting Arts

Tibon's GoJu Ryu is truly amazing. It is very welcoming and family oriented. My kiddos have been coming to Tibon's since February of 2021. They love it. I love this place because they will have been taught a life lesson. Such as discipline and commitment. I appreciate Mr Tibon and Mrs T. they have so much love for all their students.

Tibon karate studio is a very positive environment. They not only teach karate but motivate the children to achieve all they can be, they learn discipline and respect and more confident to achieve their goals and become productive adults. My son was blessed through Sensei Tibon's nonprofit program. My son was referred by one of his former teachers. Both Sensei Tibon, his wife, and all the other members of the dojo have been very friendly and supportive. My son has just recently started. However, I can see his confidence building and his social skills getting better also. Here at the dojo, my son is learning discipline, integrity, and also accountability. He is taught to carry these qualities everywhere, home school, and in Martial Art. I love it here and I'm truly grateful.

Best Karate Dojo! We drive from Elk Grove to Stockton, because no other Dojo compares!

I was a student and instructor at Tibon's for over 30 years. This is the place if you are seeking traditional karate. Discipline is highly stressed and instilled in all students inside and outside of the dojo. Some of our students have been inducted in Stockton's Hall of Fame, the Mexican Hall of Fame, members of the Jr. And Sr. USA National Team, member of the USOC Titan Games, and many more high level events. Their reputation speaks for itself. There is no other dojo in the area that can provide you or your child with the opportunities that are provided at Tibon's Goju Ryu.

I'm so proud to put this review out to the public, I had a wonderful experience enrolling my nine-year-old into Tibon's Goju Ryu Fighting Arts. I had the pleasure to sit with the owner Mr and Mrs. Tibon and it was such an authentic conversation talking about family values and how investing in children is the best thing you can do, I highly recommend this school.

This is a GREAT dojo! Familia Acosta loves this dojo. It's family oriented & a positive environment. Our oldest son began in 2011 & in 2019 our two younger sons joined. All 3 of our sons enjoy going & NEVER want to miss a class. Sensei Tibon is a great teacher. This is a dojo where they teach traditional martial arts. They don't just give you the next rank belt, the student have to really work hard & earn it. One of the sayings in the dojo is "the mat don't lie". Sensei challenges your mind, body & spirit. Our sons have tremendous respect for Sensei Tibon. He is a true mentor & he is another positive male role model in our sons lives. He believes in his students, even when the student doesn't believe in themselves. Sensei has a way of building the students confidence. He & his wife are so wonderful & so caring for their students & for the community. The whole staff there are amazing & everyone there treats one another & anyone that walks into the dojo with respect. Tibon's Goju-Ryu has been a great place for me. If your looking for traditional style karate that challenges your mind, body, and spirit this is the place. The black belts coming out of this dojo have remarkable skill. The classes are setup for all ages and the more advanced you go you will see how vast Goju-Ryu is. I've seen countless success stories coming out of this dojo. Sensei Tibon and his wife Yvonne have been dedicated to this sport and community their entire lives it's really amazing to me seeing them active decade after decade.... their living legends in the city of Stockton.
