Thornton Bait & Tackle

I went by to grab bait. This place has good parking and is very clean. The guy there was very friendly and is very knowledgeable. I didn't catch his name, but he is an older gentleman. I got to say, if I ever need bait in the area. That'll be the first place I shop. I give this place two thumbs up.

I always try to support my local businesses but I will have to find another bait shop. The lady working (short, fat with short hair) needs a lesson in customer service. She was throwing the bait I bought on to the counter and slamming the fridge doors. A simple greeting and thank you will be good too. I asked for ice and she threw it in the bait box like she didn't want give it up. HORRIBLE SERVICE I left mad knowing I just supported them spending 50 bucks.

Local home grown bait store. May not be the best looking, but they have what you need to get your kids on the water, and the always have some of the best Shad when it's in season. Support your local businesses.

Love this place...im 31yrs old been goin there with my dad since i was young.. If u dont want to waste ur time just give them a call n they'll let u kno what they have.

Do not waste your time driving to this place. There is almost nothing in the shop other than maybe some live bait

Wow! This place is about the only place to get bait in Stockton. Lousy selection. He was out of lots of bait. No live bait. I had to drive to Walmart to buy a license.

One of the last and original bait shops in Stockton. The real thing. Support local business! Love clams.
