The Stadium

New to Lodi and don't really know anyone looking for a spot that's drama free that I would come to every once and a while? Is this a cool place just to kick back have some drinks and shoot pool?

OLD REVIEW:The bartenders are friendly, efficient, and drinks seem to fair priced. It was nice to see a place that carried a few more aged rum options than one usually sees in this town. That said, the karaoke host soured our experience so we won't be recommending this place. We put our names in by 9:10 (10 minutes after the show started) and he kept bumping us further back in the line after people who came after us so the first of our party did not sing until around 10:30. He separated the second of our party to two songs further back. I'm not sure what that was about but it certainly felt like we must be in the wrong place. EDIT: months later, the kj has the same crummy attitude. We showed up before it started and bought several rounds of drinks. We were still around 8th in the queue to begin with (despite putting our songs in before other folks arrived). You don't get a second song unless you pay an extortion fee as it's known among regulars that you will keep being bumped further and further back as the night goes on.

The bartender on Sundays is fabulous! The atmosphere is very local. Small with three pool tables.Service 5 stars. 3 stars for cleanliness

My husband and I decided to check this place out Sun evening since we were in the area. It wasn't very crowded at all, only a handful of customers at the bar. They not only have 3 pool tables, but also 1 pinball game as well. The pool tables are $2 each, and the pinball is $1 per game, or $3 for 2 games. We each ordered a ice cold Sierra Nevada Hazy beer which hit the spot. The place itself was pretty clean, even the women's bathroom.

Nice local bar with three pool tables. They host a pool league every Thursday along with darts and karaoke.

This is not a sports bar by any means. What is is, is loud and dirty. The drink my date brought me had a bug in it! The bartender made me another and he wasn't apologetic, but he wasn't a jerk either. The bathroom was disgusting. I walked in and walked right back out. We were able to get a pool table for a game or two because there weren't that many people, but the music was so loud we couldn't have a conversation. Stepped outside to try and get to know each other and were approached by a bum asking for a cigarette who then proceeded to try and join our conversation on multiple occasions. Tried going back inside to get away from him and the few drunks inside were playing annoying and ridiculously loud music on the juke box and trying to dance without falling over. Definitely not my scene. I would not go back.

One of my favorite bars in Lodi! Good vibes with great bartenders with tasty drinks. Love karaoke night!

Sky's is your basic valley blue collar bar: - Cheap drank- Bar music blaring from the jukebox- Hard working folks unwinding with beers, darts, and pool- CA Lottery ticket machine (what?) I'm not saying you won't run in to a sketchy character or two, but...hey, it's a bar!! It's a fine place to hang out for people who aren't worried about looking cool. It's also a fine place to run into a hot female that gets amazingly impressed by your simple residence in Elk Grove (!?!). And finally, it's a fine place for one of your best friends to completely c-block you from said impressed hot female telling her you have a girlfriend when you haven't been seeing someone for months. Yeah, I guess it's not that great. 3 stars.
