The Pho - Modesto

On our visit, we ordered an appetizer to start off and the large size chicken pho. I absolutely enjoy the food here. The pho is tasty, warm and well prepared. 5/5.The service is always great. The young people at the front are very attentive and willing to help. 5/5.The inside is very spacious, great for groups and solo/duo dates. The interior design is alive, very well decorated. 5/5.

Stopped in for lunch and ordered a spring roll with pork and shrimp. I was informed there would be a slight upcharge for the shrimp, which I agreed to without asking how much. To my surprise, the bill showed a $5 upcharge--I was expecting just a couple of dollars.The spring rolls were fresh and tasted okay, but the pork was the issue. It was cool and had an unusual texture and flavor, though still passable.I also ordered a small beef combination pho. While it came with plenty of beef, the broth was lacking in flavor, which was disappointing.Overall, a $30 lunch I wasn't expecting, and unfortunately, I don't see myself returning.On the positive side, the staff was friendly, and there were plenty of seats. However, once they dropped off the food, they didn't check back--I had to wave someone down just to get more water.

We came here around 7:30 on a Sunday evening, and the restaurant had a lot of open seating. The waitress was attentive and brought us waters right away. We ordered 2 #4s (filet and meatballs), one small and one large. Food took five min max. Even with the small, they were generous with the meat. The noodles were ok, nothing special. The soup was slightly on the sweeter side, but it was still yummy. Very fairly priced!

I'm sorry to say, but I didn't enjoy my bowl of pho or the spring rolls. It might just be my personal preference, but the soup tasted watered down to me. As for the spring rolls, I found there were too many noodles and unexpected carrots, which wasn't what I anticipated.Also for their winter melon tea, it was all made of syrup, was definitely a disappointment. I was expecting real tea, not something that is made out of syrup.

Came here a couple of times. It usually hits the spot for a nice bowl of pho. Prices are good and food is flavorful. I like how they offer chili paste as most places don't always have this. I will say they are usually understaffed, and usually, it takes a while to get service. We got sat right away, most of the restaurant was empty, however there were a few tables that hadn't been cleaned up from customers who have already left. I noticed at one point that there were plates that were done waiting to be served, and no one got around to serving the plates for another 4-5 minutes after it had been sitting out. Of course, with my luck, it was our food. So the pho wasn't piping hot as it should be, but it was still good. Otherwise, it's a nice restaurant with spacious seating. I would say it hit the spot for a craving, and it's in a convenient location. But I wouldn't go here if that wasn't the case

The food is descent but they are short staff. I was there since 140 it took 15 minutes to get seated then I placed my order before two other tables and still at 120 my order wasn't ready. Absolutely not a good when most of the customers are limited to lunch time.

Terrible service At the restaurant Than ordered sandwiches to go it took 40 min and they kept saying they are waiting on the sandwiches.. the manager is with an attitude like I did something wrong! Get it together

I thought I'd give this place a try. It looks nice inside and the bathrooms are clean. However, the service wasn't too great. The young gentleman in a Black Hoodie did not greet us. He also did not check on us after we had ordered our food. All of our waters had ran out and I never received the tea drink that I had ordered. One and done.

New to town and delicious!! What a nice surprise so close to home. The chicken rice is a favorite!! The Pho, the ribs and the staff are awesome!

I write a honest review as a customer on 11/25 the same night lily writes a review for my business which they have never been to . Very sad They offer vegan pho but it's just veggies when asked they say they don't put no more ok , never ask for drink refills or if customer ask anything . Very bad attitude and customer service will not return food is good but horrible customer service
