This place is absolutely beautiful! When I first got a tour of the venue back in 2019, I was working with Katrina who was extremely patient, helpful, and passionate. You can tell she loves what she does and really wanted to help out with your special day. The tent area is spacious, and uplighting really takes it to the next level.Rebecca has been an ANGEL during this unusual time. Since Covid hit, Rebecca has been professional and transparent. Of course no one knows what tomorrow brings, but Rebecca has gone above and beyond staying in contact with me and giving me any updates. Most importantly, she has been extremely positive and reassuring during this time. She is very easy to talk to and I look forward to working with her again. Rebecca made wedding planning as smooth as possible, despite Covid-19. Thank you so much Rebecca. I truly appreciate you,

I had my wedding reception here in early November and was very pleased with how everything turned out.Leading up to the wedding: We worked with Katrina and she was always so gracious, professional, and prompt in her responses to my many, MANY questions to her. Like, I would think of a new batch of questions and worries almost every week and she would just answer each one so quickly. Morning of: Since I was busy getting ready my husband, relatives, and friends went to the site in the morning to set up. Katrina was there to receive them. She also very nicely offered to set up my candles at each table and set up the guest check in table since the linen I rented had not arrived until that morning. This was a big plus for me to have a venue coordinator like Katrina. We really were in good hands. Night of: Immediately when we arrived we were given plates of appetizers and drinks in the bridal suite. Small gesture but we all really appreciated that since we were starving and drained from the morning. I also really liked their newly renovated bridal suite that we had access to during the night. If I had known this was available I would have gotten ready here instead of the hotel! Katrina was not on her shift that night but we had another coordinator, Danielle. She was around if we needed her and was flexible when we switched up the timeline. Danielle also checked in with us before leaving for the night (after the cake was cut). The food was great and beyond expectations and no complaints with the catering service. Also, the LOVE sign we rented from Haggin Oaks for $200 was a big hit with guests. Overall, I would recommend booking your wedding reception here. We loved the indoor/outdoor atmosphere and if you are worried about it being too cold during fall or winter they have heaters (it was really toasty inside). Only downside is their bathrooms are outside the tent. I should also mention we had over 250 people and a dance floor and it surprisingly did not feel overly cramped - so they can definitely accommodate for large groups.Thank you Katrina and Danielle for making our wedding a success!

We got married at Haggin Oaks on August 31st ! Our experience was amazing and are so glad we went with this venue! We loved that we could go with our own venues which helped us stay in budget. The coordinators were very helpful and were great with responding to all questions and concerns. Katrina, our day of coordinator, was the best! She made sure everything went smoothly which made it stress free. Our guests raved about the food (even the mashed potatoes were a hit!) and said it was an absolutely beautiful wedding. They loved the tented/outdoor space which flowed perfectly. Could not have picked a better venue for our special day! Thank you to the team at Haggin Oaks!

After being engaged for over a year, my now husband and I decided to finally look at some venues for our wedding. Haggin Oaks was the first venue we looked at and instantly fell in love with the venue. We loved the openness of the tent and patio area with the benches. We communicated with Rebecca majority of the time and she always responded to our emails/text in a timely manner or she would forward our questions to her assistant, Adrianne for reply. The pros of the venue are:- catering/bartending is thru them so you don't have to stress about finding a caterer - only one event per day so never have to worry about double booking- reasonably priced The only complaint I have from our wedding day is the bartender. We had red/white wine, beer and well drinks covered for our guest however the bartender did not inform our guest of this when they ordered drinks and they were getting charged for a good 2 hours before my husband and I found out. We did complain to Adrianne about this and was issued a refund check for the unused balance from the bar.

**Read before booking.. 0 STARS..**Reposting for other people... Still haven't heard back from them like they said they would contact me after I emailed them. My wedding was almost 2 weeks ago. You know when choosing a venue i really wanted something beautiful and i seen that in Haggin Oaks especially for pictures it was perfect. But my wedding day was not perfect and that's something i will never get back. When first consulting with Rebecca my now husband and i were told golfers would be gone by the time my wedding was. My photographer that i spent a lot of money of and paid by hours spent a lot of time waiting having to help me move and let golfers pass while trying to take pics. Also i was not told the grass would be watered hours before my wedding and it was so muddy everywhere my dress got muddy before i walked down the aisle. When telling Rebecca days later about the watering she said we do need to keep the maintenance, which i agree but really watering before a wedding and making it muddy everywhere. Then she said there was no way i was going to keep my dress clean anyway. How rude, of course i knew it would be dirty having an outdoor wedding but really mud. The bridal suite that's there the air conditioner stopped working and it was 100 degrees so my hair and make up had to be redone multiple times before my cermony, then they tried putting a swamp cooler that didnt work then they finally found one thay worked. Yes it was a very hot day but when we consulted they made it seem like they could keep the tent cool with the 6 big swamp coolers well there was not 6. Also i had multiple guest tell me that the waiters were standing in front of the coolers. My family and i paid a lot of money and for the waiters to block the air is unacceptable. I brought up how my plate was taken too soon and i was starving, she says i should of asked for someone to pack me a plate to go there was plenty left over. How funny when my mother asked to take some left over rolls home for us a waiter told us his boss said no we cant. So someone is lying. When bringing these issues up to Rebecca she made it out to be i was in the wrong and had an excuse for everything i brought up. Then she said her boss was there that night and backed what she said up, i asked for her boss's contact info since she was there to discuss them with her. It's been weeks and still no phone call or email. So just shows they only want to tell you things to think you'll have your dream wedding there and take thousands of dollars from you. Very sad that her boss could not call or email me so i could discuss all the things that went wrong. I only wrote a few of the things that went wrong since this was a long review. I would be very careful if your thinking of booking this venue. I wish i would have read some of these reviews and would have chose different. I dont want any other bride to have to go through what i did.

We had our wedding at the Pavillion at Haggin Oaks on 11/26/2017. Everything was great! High level of communication with our wedding coordinator Katrina throughout our whole process, she did a great job doing what she does, was very professional and is also very sweet. We did a brunch wedding which was a perfect choice with good food which we got many compliments on, what can beat tons of bacon, french toast and eggs Benedict! It was a fun morning wedding. The ceremony was supposed to be outside but it rained the morning of our wedding so we moved the ceremony inside the reception hall behind the tables which worked out great, the tables and decor served as a great background and the rain dripping on the Pavillion rooftop was so romantic. Katrina helped coordinate the flower girls and served us food and all the helpers and servers were also very professional and kind. We were able to bring in our own desserts which was great. Restroom was outside but it wasn't an issue for anyone not even for the bride ;). Would recommend even in the winter/fall months :) Thank you Katrina, you Rock girl!

Let me preface this by saying I'm one of the most laid back brides you're probably ever going to meet. Five stars here is coming in because of a few key things we couldn't make happen anywhere else:1) Came in UNDER a VERY tight budget2) Outdoor during summer3) Pre-set elegance4) Still simple5) Bottomless mimosas6) Event coordination and incredible customer service1) Our budgetEverything we wanted for our event was DIY, on a tight (as in almost NOTHING) budget, and we knew we wanted everything simple, relaxed, but still pretty. We got exactly what we wanted. It included tables, chairs, linens, and clean up. We got cooling fans which didn't seem to help much, but I can't imagine how bad it could have been without them! (Our friends just stood in front of them.)I was a little nervous about brunch ("Wait, unlimited champagne? How unlimited? You're sure? They'll pour for the 6 hours total? You're sure?") and we hadn't sampled it since for us coming in at budget and just having a good time was more important than the details. They followed through! We seated and fed 225 people unlimited brunch of cheesy scrambled eggs, bacon (UNLIMITED BACON, PEOPLE), sausage patties, potatoes, scones and muffins, fresh fruit, with champagne (YES, CHAMPAGNE INCLUDED), coffee, and orange juice for under $5000 in a tent after an outdoor ceremony in front of a gazebo under an old oak with a green golf course view. INCREDIBLE. The only flowers I had to buy were in my bouquet and on my cake since it's already landscaped and has rose bushes!2) An outdoor summer weddingGood luck finding any place in Sacramento to do your outdoor wedding in Summer with just a few months' notice, let alone a place with shade and a tent to have your reception in afterwards. They have very limited availability but we got a Sunday morning brunch wedding, and, come on, who doesn't love brunch, we probably would have been doing that anyway, right?!--and for less than it would have cost to go out! 3) The elegance is built in...A white tent lined inside with draping and permanent chandeliers, options for colors of cloth napkins and white or ivory table linens, you really don't need much more to set any kind of mood. People who use the venue add a ton to it--but if you don't want to or can't afford it you really don't need to!4) ...but it's still so simple. There's nothing flashy, it all feels very natural, and it's not meant to distract from the event that is being held there. You don't feel the need to dress up to be there, even if it is a "golf course" wedding, and everything ran exactly as we had hoped. No one was uncomfortable (except for the August 99 degree midday heat. Sorry, family and friends!!), and I think a key to that was...6) The StaffRebecca deferred me to Katrina who would be more in charge of my wedding at Haggin Oaks, but she was ALWAYS responsive and available for information when we needed her.Katrina (who has only been on a few months but you'd never know it--she's great!) was extremely responsive, up-front, prompt in responding, and was totally reassuring about how the day would go. Everything they said they followed through on and more, even offering little bonuses we could take or leave to add to our celebration. They really thought of everything (even despite my forgetting completely to send her my wedding day schedule!) and more. The serving staff was wonderfully encouraging. It's a little weird being served on a day as intimate as your wedding by strangers, and having them be the first people to see you in your dress even more so, but the girls who were working behind the scenes stopped what they were doing for just a few minutes when it was my turn to enter the ceremony through the venue where they were setting up and GUSHED over me, it was really so sweet and really helped set a good mood for my walk down the aisle. I told them to have fun with my guests, and they did. I had doubts when I was charged a mandatory 19% gratuity before the event--these servers deserve it!I get nothing for this review--I'm just so grateful for them making such an important day in my life come about in such a wonderful way! I really wish Yelp would weed out the old reviews--they seem completely irrelevant to what is happening there now. And, bonus: the event occurs between 2 Pokestops. I swear. I have an awesome picture of me petting a Geodude in my wedding dress. My friends dropped lures and had the time of their lives!

Poor customer service. I called the number late to leave a VM so someone can get in contact with me not thinking someone would answer. Someone named Chloe rudely answered the phone in an impolite tone and then was sarcastic when i tried speaking to her. I get it, I called in late, but I didn't know that the phone number attached was routed to her personal cell causing her to be rude. I think this situation could have been handled in a more professional way however thanks to her unprofessionalism & for Chloe ruining my first impression on this venue, I will not be booking my wedding here. The venue is absolutely beautiful but if this Chloe is their manager or part of their staffing? Yeah no thanks!

I just had my wedding here 2 weeks ago and I would like to say that I am so extremely happy I had my wedding here. Yes people things do go wrong, our rehearsal practice was triple booked so we couldn't practice coming into the party hall but it all goes on how you take things. The day of our wedding I was excited that all the tables were set up in the venue (one was missing but Katrina made sure it was placed right away) and the chairs outside the gazebo were set up. It rained in the afternoon of my wedding and was a little windy but luckily it cleared out before my wedding started. Some complained that there chairs were a little wet when they sat down but Katrina and the staff were on it and they dried off the chairs.Rebecca was great helping us plan before the wedding and even though she wasn't there the day of my wedding Katrina was like a perfect double. Katrina literally Rocks! The Food was great like even better than I thought. Everyone went home talking about the great food. The most beautiful thing was the LOVE sign that they now have for rent. It made the Venue look just so much more special. I cant say enough good things about this place and Katrina and Rebecca and also the new girl which I totally cant remember her name towards the end she helped a lot. Yes some things went a little wrong like the servers trying to serve my cake before I told them too but they were quick to rectify and that is what counts. Highly recommend this venue it is just gorgeous!
