This place is my favorite secret. We first came here for Thanksgiving dinner when my husband and I found ourselves alone for the Holiday. That was hands down one of the best meals I've ever had! Skip forward to this year. My husband's family found themselves without someone to make Christmas Dinner. So we called the Inn and made reservations. I absolutely love the decor of this whole place, but especially in the main restaurant. Everything is gorgeous! However, this time they sat us in our own private dining room. There were beautiful centerpieces on the table and a lovely view of the outside patio. Staff here is always fabulous! Helpful, friendly, just outstanding service. The food...good lord if only you could smell a picture! The main dinner for Christmas Day was prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts with roasted carrots. Everything was DELICIOUS! The drink was some kind of fruity mojito. It was strong and very good! This place is a hidden gem. One day I will get to actually stay here and enjoy the spa!

We came for a girls weekend and the spa took such amazing care of us. It was so relaxing and appreciated the customer service they extended. We got to hang out around the fire pit in robes and blankets, which was an added relaxing touch. The room was so spacious and loved the little kitchen nook. Then our dinner was phenomenal! It was an amazing weekend!

Stay on: 02/03/24I booked a little "staycation" for my daughter and I at the last minute as I felt we both needed a little relaxation and pampering. We made the quick drive from our home here in Sacramento to enjoy our first time at The Murieta Inn and Spa. The lobby and lounge area were beautifully decorated, and I cannot rave enough about the three wonderful ladies that greeted us at the front desk. Not only was checking in quick and painless, but the ladies were all so sweet and personable. During the time that we were there, we ran into several guests who happened to live nearby and frequent the inn and spa for their restaurant or spa services. There is also access to the nearby country club and equestrian services as well. Everyone was so welcoming and kind! Onto our room - we loved it! It had a modern, yet western theme to it. There were high ceilings, with beautiful accents. The beds were INSANELY comfortable, and I loved that the lights over our beds dimmed so that I was able to read after my daughter decided to go to sleep. They provide Wi-Fi, if you'd like, and have Smart TV's in the rooms that you can connect your devices to so that you are able to stream whatever you'd like - my daughter and I were able to have a Modern Family marathon, HA! The shower was great with a ton of room, a big bench, and normal shower head, as well as a detachable shower head, if you chose to use it. Lastly, we could not RAVE enough about their in-house restaurant, The Gate. The food was absolutely delicious! The chef was kind enough to accommodate my 12-year old's picky request for pasta with marinara and Parmesan (which she devoured), while I enjoyed the Jidori Airline Chicken Breast with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Grilled Broccolini. Thank you, Murieta Inn and Spa, for a wonderful and relaxing first (and definitely not last) time stay. I cannot wait to pass along my experience and recommendation to my family and friends. See you again soon!

This review is about the reservation process for stays around horse shows. The hotel itself is very nice once you are at the property and the staff are generally great. It's comical how poorly run their reservation process is...but they sell out, so who cares!Literally called every three to four days for ten weeks starting late February to reserve a room for a horse show in September. Every time was given the same response (including when I called on 4/30):- Sorry we aren't take reservations right now- No, we can't tell you when we will open up for reservations- We've been told it will be sometime this Spring but we have no idea whenAnd then suddenly on 5/4 when I called:- Sorry we are sold out- We opened up for reservations on 5/1 and were sold out in two days- No, there isn't a waiting list (so I guess it sucks for you)I really wish there was another hotel in the area because this is about a piss poorly run as anything I've ever seen when it comes to hotels. I guess next year you'll just have to call every day (perhaps even 2x a day) just to ensure you get a room.

Beautiful hotel. Lots of special touches and attention to detail that you don't find in most hotels. Cool equestrian art, too.

SERVICEUnder 5m checkin.Free self-service parking.Housekeeping & reception were consistently helpful & timely. A+ staff & training. Spa services were really enjoyable, but It was impossible to book a massage for the same-day or week...ROOMHigh cleaning standards.Lots of square feet and very comfortable for 2; plenty of closet space, drawers, hooks & tabletop for personal effects. Full length mirror in the stone tile walk-way. hardwood flooring throughout the rest of the room.Ergonomic desk chair with great texture. Mix of modern recessed lighting + dated shaded desk lamps with energy-efficient bulbs. Smart AC system.Lack of recycling receptacles in the room (I guess everything goes to the same place?).Window views vary considerably, but they are functional and can be opened for fresh air. BEDReading lights overheadClean & soft linens: Cotton duvet, Polyester microfiber sheets, with a generous amount of duck down pillows (Hypo-Allergenic pillows upon request). Firm mattress with a sturdy leather headboard, but the wood Bed frame has protruding corners--watch your shins!Great sleep every night!BATHVanity mirror with built-in lights. Beautiful Brass hooks, bars, and knobs everywhere. Walk-in shower with granite Bench (Our shower drain was clogged on check-in, so check the shower before settling in).Single spray pattern shower head + a second shower head and hose.Great water pressureGood ventilation & a manual exhaust switch.Cupola (House-brand) bath products; no ingredients list or labels but it feels like the chemical-ridden-engineered-scent status quo so BYO bath products instead.Basic toilet (no eco-flush) & 2-ply TP. The towels were very coarse & average size.Bath robes were just 'ok' & the texture was inconsistent.TV50" Samsung flat screen smart tv. No Apps, but casting is available via Getstreaming.tv Basic wall mount is disappointing, particularly in the Double room. Its a hassle to connect a device when the network is to congested for casting. WI-FiThe complimentary Wi-Fi is a struggle.Poor QoS for mobile devices which leads to constant disconnects & the cell reception isn't great. Its apparent when there's too much congestion on the network25-42Mbps down; 13-21Mbps up. Not great for remote work or consistent streaming.NOISEGenerally quiet but occasionally pretty noisy: service buses and loading trucks in the early morning; residential garbage trucks & commotion in the hallway are some common offenders.Pet-friendly, so there was the occasional barking dog.The walls aren't terribly thin, but we could hear muffled conversations next door with the TV off.FOODNo minibar but there is a Keurig coffee maker & $7 Evian bottled water wetbar .small, but functional, microwave (albeit dated).Small (15"-30") mini fridge without icebox/freezer.DoorDash/UberEats friendly but very few options & they are all 45-55m away, so enjoy the incredible dinner menu by executive Scott Savage; I recommend the Pork Belly and Salmon entree. The House sangria was also a win (the jalapeño Paloma not so much).A Bel-Air grocer is next door as a last resort. Staycation VerdictVery strong on comfort, not-so strong on (consistent) quality, and relatively weak on convenience. But, at this price point, it's worth an extended stay. Plan accordingly and enjoy a plethora of amenities without having to leave your bubble. I look forward to returning4/5Walkthrough video: https://www.instagram.com/reel/Ct4Zz-ktjOy/?igshid=YzcxN2Q2NzY0OA==

A beautiful young lady named Alyssa checked me in, and was incredibly warm with her demeaner! I happened to ask how long she's worked there and she said she is new, and I couldn't tell one bit. As for the room, I thought it was great, and the bed was super comfortable. My sister lives in RM so this was perfect for visiting from Socal. We stayed during the week so it was pretty quiet. I might even try bringing my dog next time, I didn't realize it was pet friendly here. Definitely a place I would stay again!

I recently treated myself to a derma-plane facial and I can confidently say it was the best facial experience I've ever had. From start to finish, every detail was perfectly curated to provide relaxation and results. The spa exuded tranquility, with calming music, soft lighting, and a subtle aroma of lavender. The treatment room was immaculately clean, cozy, and inviting. The facial started with a thorough skin consultation to tailor the treatment to my needs. After a gentle double cleanse, the esthetician performed an enzyme exfoliation to remove dead skin cells, followed by a hydrating steam session. She used a mix of advanced serums infused with Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid, applied with a soothing facial massage. My skin looked radiant, plump, and noticeably smoother immediately after the facial. Over the next few days, the glow only got better, and my complexion felt deeply hydrated and refreshed. The esthetician was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely caring. She explained every step and gave helpful tips for maintaining my skin between visits.
