We came here for a Valentine's dinner and dance. Cyndie and Benny, the owners, could not have been more welcoming. The salad a raspberry blue cheese spring mix salad was great. The smoked tri-tip was perfectly cooked. The smoked vegetables were incredible. The bread was amazing. We drove over 90 minutes to get here. We are planning on coming back for the next theater show and bringing the kids. It is a historic building in the process if being renovated. If you can appreciate the history and the work going into making it great again you are up for a special experience.

I'm so proud of this business. They are still serving our community in these COVID times. When they get to restart their live performances, go see a show! Local talent at its best. It's such a fun venue, especially the murder mystery meals. Keep supporting local businesses!

Me and my boyfriend have come here a couple times for lunch and we love it! It's such a cute little spot to grab something to eat and the service is quick so it's perfect for my lunch break. I had the Philly cheese steak sandwich with salad and it was delicious and fulfilling but felt light enough that I didn't want to go home and take a nap right after, lol. Best lunch spot in town, it's refreshing to have something other than subway or Mexican food.

I was here on a Saturday for a small wedding that took place. It used to be a movie theater back in the day and you can definitely tell it was old. The place does seem run down, but there are 3 different levels which was kind of cool. The staff was really nice which brought their stars up. The food was basic and nothing special. I did have a great time, though.

This community theater was right next door to our Airbnb and, having nothing better to do since San Andreas is a small town that closes early, my teen daughter and I decided to head over to see the fall production of Blithe Spirits. We love community theater but weren't sure what to expect being from the East Bay area with larger theaters. They surpassed out expectations! The actors did a fantastic job and we enjoyed the performance immensely. They even serve snacks and drinks (I had a top notch martini, keeping in the 'spirit' of the show). Please go support this local theater so they can continue bringing theater arts to the area. We will absolutely come again next time we take a cave trip!

The historic "Met" has been reopened by a bright, enthusiastic couple, Benny and Cyndie Klorer. They've cleaned the place up and are restoring the Met as the entertainment hub of San Andreas. Lots of fun evenings to come! If you're in Calaveras, check out the Met for food, live entertainment, performing arts, and so much more.
