The Jackson Lodge

For anyone trying to stay in one of the cabins... Cabins/ bungalows are no longer available, they are rented out as residences.

This place would be the last place I would stay. I would rather sleep in my car. At least my car is clean. This place is so outdated and nasty. Typical lodge that take your money and not put a dime into repairs or updates. Stay away from this place it's a nightmare.

We had a great time at the Jackson Lodge. Our room was a cozy, clean and comfortable. The new owners were very friendly and in the midst of renovating the property, they still were able to meet our needs. We stayed in the deluxe bungalow, and we were able to prepare a full thanksgiving dinner. The fireplace in our room was warm and comfortable. With the improvements to the property, the future ratings will improve. I Highly recommend this one of kind Gem for your next stay in Jackson.

If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. We only stayed here because our car broke down and no Uber or Lyft would come up. AAA wouldn't get here until the following day. (3 day weekend everything was booked. So upon arrival the manager saw us walk up with our kids and said "oh it's like little Mexico here" (we are Hispanic) That was racist not funny if that was his intention. At 1am a loud woman woke us up by screaming that she had no more alcohol . Not 2 min the creepy manager called our room to accuse us of being loud. Not only was this room disgusting dirty but to wake up my kids with a phone call at 1 something was the cherry on top. Do not stay here. Do NOT stay here. No customer service. Manager is rude and creepy. Booking.com should not have this place listed.

The lodge isn't the cleanest place to say..the bathrooms are not that clean..the bedding is very thin and the mattress are low quality very lumpy & uncomfortable..the manager isn't too pleasant..

Depending on your room, it would be rad or bad. Our group had 3 rooms: one had a broken hair drier, one had a broken shower knob, and the last was perfect. The nonsmoking rooms smell fine, but right outside your door is a bench with an ashtray where your neighbors are smoking. The are felt fun, well lit, and safe. The breakfast ran out of coffee early on, but had enough other goodies. The driveway is tucked away off the road.

The very worst room we've ever reserved. Floors were dirty, no plug for the bath tub, only one channel on TV(no news station). Heater made strange noises all night. Someone moaning outside at night and early in morning(like in pain). Cold damp laminate floors ( no rugs). Bathtub water was not adjustable (scalding all the time).

What a waste of money. I'm disgusted! How do they get away with charging $115 for a room with a bathroom covered in mold! And the guy at the front desk when I checked in was the rudest most unprofessional person. I do not recommend staying here. Zero stars!

I can't even give them a star. The guy that runs the place is super rude. My girlfriend and I stay there last night. We checked putting our stuff in the room then went to eat dinner. When returned we both got in our pj's. I went to use the restroom and then my girlfriend uses it after and notices we both stepped barefooted on dry blood. I called the front desk, dude started giving me attitude, wouldn't come check our room. I took pictures he wouldn't look at any of my people calling me names, told he was calling the cops. I told him to go ahead so I could document this. He threw my money back at me as he continued to call me name. Going to make a doctor's appointment Monday hope I don't get any blood bourne diseases. Forgot to add my girlfriend as asthma and stepping in that blood gave her a panic attack. She had trouble breathing all night almost have to take her to the er. Pretty much ruined the rest of our trip.

internet service was very bad, my 55 year old son was in the hospital and i didnt pay my cell in time so i was on the wifi and didnt get any updates and my son passed away without my knowledge, i wouldn't recommend staying here
