The Inn At Benicia Bay

Took myself out for breakfast for my birthday Oct 17. I had the Farmers Hash with some adjustments. Delicious, with the peppers giving it a little kick. Staff is super friendly. I went back the following week for wine tasting. Had some a French red that was fabulous(sorry, I'm not much of a connoisseur). Lovely evening on the patio near a table with a big group of people with somebody presenting each bottle and giving information on what they were about to drink. I figured it must be the manager or sommelier, so I went up and introduced myself since I recently moved to Benicia. It was the owners Dennis and Tracey. They introduced me to everyone at the table. OK, Benicia, if we want to have nice things downtown, these are the kind of places to support! They have wine tasting night on Thursday and live jazz on Fridays and other special events. Good food, great hospitality, charming and welcoming ambiance and decor. What more could you ask for? It's going to be a regular haunt for me.

The breakfast sandwich was soooooo good. The bread itself makes it worth getting. The coffee was delicious as well. My mom has the toast and although presentation was beautiful she feels a different type of bread would have elevated the toast. Overall very yummy. Food came out fast too.

We opted to stay in Benicia rather than Napa to be close to family, and wow are we happy we did. This Inn has wonderful charm. We stayed in the Casablanca room. The room had a jetted tub and wall heater/air conditioner that we were able to achieve a nice coziness in the room with. The room was spacious and reminded us of a trip to New Orleans. The owner knew us by name and created a personalized experience. The only down side was the bed was a little too firm and the shower didn't get as hot as I would have liked. The positives far outweighed the negatives and we are planning to come back again!

Wow,I didn't even know this place existed! My girls and I came here for a birthday brunch and had a lovely time.Although it is a bed & breakfast inn, it is also a little cafe that caters to walk-in patrons. I believe their menu changes periodically, but I'm not sure how frequent. They serve handcrafted sandwiches, salads, pastries & other light bites.I had a delicious protein bowl paired with a nice glass of wine. This place has a lot of Victorian charm and is a wonderful place to visit if you want a little quiet time to yourself or an afternoon sipping wine with good friends in the courtyard.

A true hidden gem in the heart of the Bay Area!This is one of our favorite spots for a weekend getaway from the kids (shhhh - don't tell them that.). The Inn Keeper is the sweetest person ever and really enjoys what she does. We are consistently welcomed with a smile each and every time we come back.The location is in more of a residential area, just off of the main street from Downtown. We love walking around to see what the various small shops have to offer and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from as well! Let's see . . . they have cupcakes, seafood, ice cream, sushi, sports bar - oh, the pub right around the corner is literally the absolute best! Seriously, there is something for everyone in this amazing small town by the bay.Back to the Inn, breakfast is brought to the room in the morning and has never disappointed. Rooms are always clean and ready when we arrive. They also have an awesome outdoor area that you can enjoy with a glass of wine and a good book.Their sister property is right down the street (on the water) Shorelight Inn. I had my aunt stay there and she absolutley LOVED it! Can't wait to go back again. =)

Their cafe/restaurant is wonderful! Great spot for Sunday brunch Love the homemade juices for mimosas!

this cozy and beautiful hotel is amazing and makes you feel welcome every time I was there with my fiancé. I highly recommend this place when you are in the area or if you want a vacation close by the town peacefully, beautiful and charming.

This Inn is fantastic!! We didn't expect to stay in Benicia on our road trip to AZ and we're delighted to find such a gem! Owners and cafe employees are very friendly and accommodating, our room was spacious and comfortable and the cafe serves delicious breakfast. We wish time allowed for another night. Plus, Benicia? What a surprise! Great restaurants, interesting little shops and nice walk out to the pier. We would have liked to spend more time here. Check it out! Highly recommended!

What a great find via Yelp! We love Benicia and found out they have a wonderful farmers market on Thursday evenings. We wanted to explore this and bar hop so we decided to stay the night even though it's only 20 minutes from our house. This is stated as a bed and breakfast but our room was spacious and we had our own bathroom. It's just a block of the main strip. Beautiful old house that's been sectioned off to separate rooms. We stayed in the Commandants Quarters which is at the very front of the house and was originally the living or sitting room. Sitting area, 4 post queen bed, jacuzzi tub for 2and get this a Sauna.. that is a first for us. The had a happy anniversary card is our room and I was able to pay extra for a 1/2 dozens roses to be ready in the room when we arrived. We loved everything and will be back again. FYI the free breakfast was wonderful and the inn keeper Paula was awesome!

Wow Wow Wow... The experience is top notch. Fabulous ambiance, tasty dishes and outstanding staff.
