Came here to ring in the new year and listen to some jazz at their New Year's Eve Masquerade Party! Love the ambience and decor. Service was great! The menu was prix fixe for dinner. A couple of choices for appetizer, salad, and main course. Came with wine pairings. Dessert was self-serve in the Ghost Lounge which is actually a very cool place to hang out and chill with the Jack Skellington decorations. For our appetizers, my husband had the Grilled Red Endive & Frisée with Garlic Buttered Prawn and Romesco Sauce and I had the Stuffed Delicata Squash with Arugula Walnut Ferro. Both were delicious! For salad, we ordered the Beet Salad comprised of Spinach, Arugula, Chioggia Beets, Blood Orange, Almonds, Goat Cheese, and Shallot Vinegar and paired with Duckhorn Sauvignon Blanc. Elegant salad, lightly dressed and well-balanced. For dinner, we both ordered the Filet Mignon with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Chef Sampler Mushrooms, Roasted Romanesco, Red Wine Demi Glaze. This was paired with a Fred Red (I think). Perfectly cooked piece of beef was fantastic flavors. My favorite on this dish would have to be the mushrooms. Well-prepared, Chef Ruby!Dessert was self-serve in the Ghost Lounge. Assorted cookies, cannolis, and this chocolate truffles that were out of this world! Later on they served a raspberry sorbet which hit the spot at the end of the evening before the champagne was served. Happy to have celebrated here. The best part was the jazz band. Excellent music performed by local college students. Support live music!

Overrated in my opinion. I was excited to hear the live music and to try menu items I had peeped prior. Quickly I was disappointed when the waiter informed us the "items" not available on the menu No deviled eggs, calamari, and something else I did hear bcz the first two were what I was going to order. We did Not even get an apology. What we did order was the pork belly (delicious) carpaccio (just ok) 2 Ribeye steaks (1 super fatty) and when we wanted mashed potatoes instead of fingerlings we were told it would be a 10$ up charge, Mushroom pasta with skirt steak (good, but not 36$ good and the steak was in big chunks not sliced since a steak knife was not given). Sorry to say ....This place is overpriced for what is given. The 2 star was mainly bcz of menu items not available and the service.

If my friends ever see this review they're gonna hate me because they LOVE this place. I'm a little on the fence however but I think it's worth giving a review without having been back yet to give them another shot. For the record I would like to still. I love the decor and I like what they are trying to be. I like the creativity of the drinks and food menu in general too. Where I think they fall short was execution, at least on the food. Everything was just lacking a tad. I enjoyed the flavor profiles and combinations just needed more punch to everything. The fish I ordered (swordfish I believe), was cooked fairly nicely. That was my first time trying swordfish so I don't have much to compare to there. It came with sort of a strawberry balsamic salad that was interestingly good. I think it would have benefited from some sweeter strawberries to go with that balsamic. We all ordered multiple drinks that day and we enjoyed them all. Everyone enjoyed their desserts but I think the one I picked was the best, the lemon Tiramisu. It was the perfect balance for me of zesty and sweet. As for the service they came to check on us multiple times throughout the night but they sort of did it in spurts. Not a lot of in between checks. I remember I ended up having to drink my friend's water at one point. Again I'd still go back to give it another shot but as of now o think for their prices and executions it just needs to be better.

We sat at the bar side in too. It offers a private dining experience with a view of the lower level. The bartender was helpful and prompt with her service. The food was amazing! We had it family style which was perfect. We had a little of everything. I would definitely recommend this spot!

Went for a birthday party at the loft area of the restaurant. Love the new decor and the ambiance. Romantic, chic' loved thing all the options. Just went back to try a couple more dishes. One of my favorite restaurants in the area. "Seed to table" fresh ingredients, delicious dishes and awesome service. Last night they had live jazz on the bar side. We plan on returning and sitting on that side next time for drinks and appetizers We will be back soon

My first visit to the Ghost Lounge at The Exchange was an exceptional experience. The ambiance, food, music, and customer service were all top-notch, creating an inviting and memorable atmosphere. The full menu was available in the Ghost Lounge, and I began with the Beet Salad. For the main course, I chose the Porterhouse Pork Chop, a dish beautifully composed of Bacon Fig Compote, Crispy Fingerling Potatoes, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Frisée, Spinach, Balsamic Vinaigrette-Infused Golden Raisins, and a Balsamic Reduction. I finished with the Fig and Frangipane Tart, paired perfectly with a glass of Tievoli red blend wine. What truly stood out was the incredible freshness of every dish--clearly crafted with locally grown, in-season ingredients. Adding to the evening's charm, the RG3 Ensemble provided a soundtrack of classic jazz. The music was perfectly balanced--engaging enough to enjoy but subtle enough to allow for easy conversation.I'm already looking forward to returning for more of the outstanding food, music, and exceptional service!

It was my both me and my husbands first time here and we live local so we were excited to see something new come to town, knowing there weren't too many restaurants around Lodi. We were seated on a Tuesday evening around 5:30pm on the balcony which we had to ourselves and was nice. I ordered the Blueberry basil smash and although the drink was pretty to look at, it was very watered down. Probably because it had so much ice in it. My husband didn't like his drink either and we've been to tons of bars in Sacramento and know what we like. We ordered both appetizers and entrees but our appetizers alone took like 20 mins to come out!!!! The bone marrow was good and we also ordered the prosciutto and pear ensemble but the presentation and dish itself was just okay. I had the salmon and thought it was okay but my husband loved his New York. I think some items are just a hit and miss here, but our food took way too long to come out. We got our food dishes 45mins after we were seated. Our waiter took so long to come back that we had to go to the front desk to ask for the check. Our bill was a little pricey and I don't believe our experience was worth what we paid. I think this place has potential, but there's a few things that still need to be ironed out.

It's been a bit since I posted - I am back and back with a banger. Met my friend last night for a christmas drink and some laughs at the Exchange in the area referred to as the Ghost Bar. Drinks are great and the service to0 notch. The bar itself has a light haze of smoke decorated in halloween christmas theme.Very clean and great vibe - highly recommend. If i get a date that is where I will take her for a nice relaxing time.

The food and drinks amazing but the wait time was long. I think staff was short that day but other than that it was nice.

My spouse and I have been here twice, and I felt like it was worth leaving a note. The food on their dinner menu is exceptional. Everything we've ordered to eat was amazing, and that's what brought us back the second time. The ghost lounge/bar is also great. We enjoyed the atmosphere, drinks and service there very much. Compliments to the chefs and bartenders! We left irritable after our first dining experience, however, due to the service. We made a reservation on Open Table and requested specific seating by a window. When we showed up, they couldn't find us on the list and said that they could try to squeeze us in. They said if we wanted to ensure specific seating and a reservation in the future, we should call instead of using Open Table. The restaurant wasn't packed, so I assume they were understaffed? We didn't get seated near a window, or even in the main dining area. We got seated in the very back of the room, right between 2 service doors in a booth with no visibility to see the rest of the space. We could hear everything that was happening in the kitchen, which was very distracting, and the lights were flickering like crazy and causing a bit of a headache. We (very politely) requested to be moved, and the manager took us up to an upper level which was a bit quieter - still in the very back in an open dining room, but we were happy to have a more relaxed environment. I worry that the staff communicated that we might be problem clients or something though, because the server that worked with us was very rude. No smiles, no small talk, just took our orders and left. Each time she came to check on us felt like a huge inconvenience, with lots of heavy sighing. When she rang us up, she stood and waited at the table after we paid. We took a second thinking she would leave and let us wrap up our conversation and drinks, but she obviously wanted us to get up and leave right then and there. So we got up after an awkward silence and she immediately started clearing our table behind us. We felt like we were getting shooed out the door! We definitely weren't there for a long time - the kitchen was pretty speedy, so it was probably only an hour to an hour & a half. We just felt like the last thing that server wanted to do was work with us. It was such a bummer because the food was so good, but the service ruined our experience. For our second visit, I called ahead to make my reservation and requested seating more in the middle of the room so we could enjoy the ambiance. I generally explained what happened with our seating last time, and the receptionist was super friendly and picked out a spot she thought would be a good location. When we checked in for our reservation, though, we were taken right back to a booth in the same service area we were at last time! The server we had this time around was much better, but still no smiles or chit chat (which is fine, but not especially warm or welcoming). The lights seemed to be fixed, though! We didn't want to bother with being reseated or risking getting a bad server again so we just stuck with that spot. I was disappointed that even though I followed the steps they suggested, we still got seated in a weird location. Again, there were loads of tables available - not sure why they didn't want to seat people in the more scenic dining area or near the windows. Don't you want the restaurant to look full for passersby? Thought it might be a reserved section, but no one else came to take those seats the entire time we were there. I don't think we'll be back again for dinner just because it's so hit and miss. We did have a great experience at the bar, though, so might be back for happy hour in the future!
