The Delta Bistro & Lounge

I can't say much about this place since I only had one drink and took it out to the pool area.The bartender was cool and made me the perfect drink, just how I like it. The place is nice and bright, super clean and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. Find it inside the University Waterfront Plaza Hotel on the ground floor to the right of the check-in desks. Next time, I'll try out some of their food options. Pricing is average and service was good. Nice variety of alcoholic drinks and the bar area is pretty! It's a must if you stay in the hotel and you don't feel like going out into the ghetts of Stockton, lol!

I was in the area for an event and of course I had to stop by. The Delta Bistro & Lounge was a regular spot for my friends and I for years. The hotel (and Delta Bistro) has easy parking right in front of the Stockton Area and usually has plenty of spaces, unless there's an event going on.I always sit at the bar here, they have comfortable seats, TVs on the back wall and the bartenders are great. I was so happy to see our favorite people still work here and I was able to catch up with Kris and Raymond and order a couple drinks as well as my favorite- their Buffalo Chicken Salad. I always add green olives to the Buffalo Chicken Salad, and if you like spicy I recommend asking for an extra side of the buffalo sauce as well.Other than the salad, they have a tasty burger and I like their sandwich options as well. The bartenders make some great drinks, I always trust them when I'm in the mood for a cocktail to surprise me with one of their creations. When I'm in more of a beer mood, I always go for the Lagunitas IPA.While I typically sit in the bar area, they also have a dining room that's great for bigger groups as well as outdoor seating in their courtyard. Their hours have been shortened since the last time I visited which was before the pandemic but they're currently open T-Sat 4pm-9pm.

We were here for a concert at the Stockton Area which is walking distance from this hotel . We parked for the event and walked around waiting for friends to show up . I had to use the restroom and they told me the closest one was the Hotel. So my husband and I walked in and realized they have a nice bar area . Wish we would of came here earlier to wait for our friends to arrive. The bartender Chris was super friendly and attentive . They have TVs and a nice seating area . We sat at the bar had our drinks and hung out for a bit . This is definitely a great drop for a drink before an event . Very convenient since it's walking distance. We will be back for an other drink next time that we are in town for an other event .

I didn't feel like venturing out from the hotel so I decided to give this place a try. The service was excellent, the food was good and a reasonable price.

No brunches available at all since pandemic. Restaurant manager will not call you back nor answer the phone. Waste of time to eat at. Boring place to stay. Poor service. Staff profiles guests or potential guests.

I may be biased but we went to eat and the food was nice and hot and excellent . We met a baseball pro and his lovely girlfriend dining as well. The mixed drinks were delicious and the food was really, really good. The sever Alex was very attentive and we barely had to wait a min for everything . Beautiful view very relaxing and can't wait to go back and try different things .

My family and I chose to eat breakfast at the Delta Bistro since it was right downstairs from our room. It was around 10am, and there was only one waitress working. There were definitely too many customers for that one waitress to take care of herself. She was very busy and it took a long time for us to receive our food (around half an hour). We ordered the pancakes and two omelettes. I didn't try any of the pancakes but I enjoyed my three egg omelette. Considering that it was food at a hotel restaurant, the price wasn't horrible, and the portions were pretty big.I do wish that the could have had more waiters working. I felt bad for the one waitress that had to take car of everyone on the patio and inside.

Delta Bistro & Lounge is nestled within one of the most stylish hotels in Downtown Stockton with a scenic view of the Delta. The venue is as appealing as the food it serves lending to the charm of dining here. Brunch is definitely an occasion worth avoid hitting the snooze button for. Drawing in streams of people to the restaurant to dive into some of their great comfort foods. There's everything from fresh fruits to pastries to prime ribs and plenty of other "great day starters" in an AYCE buffet style dining. Guests can lounge around the trendy outdoor patio enjoying coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and endless mimosas. Most notably their AYCE prime rib was amazing! It was well seasoned and succulent. Request for the au jus to pour over your steak to further enhance the flavor. Their classic breakfast lineup was just as delightful. It's a bit pricey but, not outrageous considering the location. The venue is open to everyone whether you're a hotel guest or not. Impeccable service paired with delicious food is what's attracting the locals here every Sunday.

Fine for a hotel restaurant/bar but Stockton has much better food to offer. The quality of food is not worth how much they charge.

The location of this restaurant is very convenient if you're staying at the hotel. We end up deciding to try their food during our stay. We ordered pizza that taste like just marinara sauce with little topping (supreme combo) on it. Not worth for the price of it. The onion ring, mozarella chesse stick and fries are just ok, typical taste and there's nothing too special about it. Similar to those frozen food you can buy at the grocery. Their breakfast buffet ($17.99) is not worth to pay for at all. For having the pancake, scrambled egg, bacon and sausage. The food is blant, dry and there's nothing you can add on to make it tastier like even a salsa or special house made sauce. Server are not attentive on the buffet area even if there's a fly roaming around. The service was just ok, friendly server. The ambience and table setting is dainty and clean on which the only thing i could have bring the 2-stars for.
