Aisle for the 3 novice courts. No entrance to the intermediate courts, but you can see them.
Restrooms and outdoor patio seating. There is a water dispenser on the side of the building closest to the parking lot.

Pickleball courts
The balls roll through the gaps between court divider fencing and main perimeter fencing.
Pickleball Rules
Paddle rack system sign outside the doors, but not sure anyone playing would see you waiting there. Go inside the doors to talk to people.
Courts 1-3 are designated for Novice players. These pickleball courts are closest to the parking lot.
Pickleball court layout
Courts 7-9 are designated for Advanced players. These pickleball courts are farthest from the parking lot and built on the highest ground.
Paddle rack inside Spectator Seating Area. Insert paddle inside rack. 2 rows in each rack.
Courts 2, 5, and 8 have a button, probably for lights, and a light at the top of the fence, probably warning lights will turn off soon.
You can reserve courts 7-9 through City of Roseville.
Each group of 3 courts has a covered area with a bench and paddle rack at each end.

So wonderful to have 9 new lighted pickleball courts! 3 grouped courts for each level: Novice (Courts 1-3), Intermediate (Courts 4-6, which are up on higher ground than the novice courts), and Advanced (Courts 7-9, which are literally on the highest level ground). Blue courts with gray kitchens (nonvolley zones). Covered spectator seating areas are on both ends of each group of 3 courts. Courts hours are 7 am to 10 pm daily. Doubles play is encouraged during busy hours.Only one bench in each spectator seating area, so there are a lot of us intermediate players standing and waiting to rotate in. People were complaining about mosquitoes during the evening drop-in session.Paddle racks inside the spectator seating area help organize turn taking within a group of players. Paddle racks outside the court area are supposed to be for different groups of 4 players to use a court, but not sure how easily utilized and noticeable those will be given most people are inside the court area. Go inside to chat with people in the spectator seating area. This park does have the following: - Restrooms - Outdoor patio seating area - Water fountains - Big parking lotI recommend reading the Pickleball Rules sign:1. No kids under age 12 without an adult.2. No music that can be heard by others.3. Personal bags and chairs should be in the spectator seating areas or outside the courts.4. No animals.5. No smoking.6. No food, gum, alcohol, or beverages other than water.7. No bikes, skateboards, scooters, skates, toys, or other wheeled devices on the courts.8. A permit from the City of Roseville is required for private league, tournament play, coaching, or private lessons. My major complaint is that the fence dividers between the courts do not extend to the perimeter court fencing. The balls keep rolling through the gaps onto the next court, which is particularly annoying when you're in the middle court with 4 such gaps. I've been placing my bag in one corner to cover one gap. I beg Parks & Rec to think of a fix.I talked to one foodie friend who happens to work for Parks & Rec. Apparently, the community saw the courts were nearly done and pushed to have them open ASAP. He told me improvements should be coming given the early opening. Courts opened at the end of January 2024.The Courts of Gibson Park also has plans to open tennis courts and basketball courts. You can see the blueprints on their website.https://www.roseville.ca.us/cms/One.aspx?portalId=7964922&pageId=11074176For information on drop-in open play, sign up for a free account on Playtimescheduler.com.These courts are on the corner of Roseville Parkway and Gibson Drive. They are located near Eureka and Lazy Dog restaurants and the Westfield Galleria mall. It's a bit tricky and sudden to turn left into the driveway with a median, so I have been making a U-Turn. I assume a left turn lane and parking lot lighting will eventually be added.

Not a bad park, usually lots of kids, some bums, but not often. If you come early in the morning you can get some exercise.
