The Century

When The Century advertisement popped up on my Facebook in December 2023, I knew I had to go and see it for my own eyes. A week later, I booked an appointment and first met with Crystal Brouwer. She gave me the tour, and I absolutely fell in love with the venue. Crystal was so patient, honest and understanding. I knew I had to book this venue, and lo and behold; May 25, 2024 was booked for me (and my fiance of course). Also BIG plus, DOG FRIENDLY! Then I met Tatiana Lopez. My coordinator, savior and all around superwoman. She coordinated our tasting, our floral appointments with decorations... I must have emailed her over 500 times. And she was so patient, understanding and she also alleviated any anxiety. All the small details, the big details, the details I didn't even think of... she got it done! Chef Robert Root was in charge of our Buffett dinner. Our first tasting did not go as well, so we were able to do another one. Needless to say; the dinner was a success. (Guests would not stop complimenting the food.)The day of my wedding; Tatiana was there every step of the way. I would have forgotten to eat and drink if it weren't for her! I blinked and I swear everything was going by so fast, and Tatiana was here to cue us and kept the timeline on track. Before I knew it, everything was packed and ready to go for us. It was all so flawless.And that is because of Tatiana!Thank you The Century team for making my wedding day dreams come true!

Beautiful venue. We found the #candlelightconcerts on my Facebook feed and we were not disappointed! The Century is in a nicer area of Modesto close to the Gallo. There are many great places close to have dinner before the show. I'm sure there are other events there or you could rent for wedding or other gathering, but the candlelight concerts are ongoing. Check it out, it's a nice date night. The concert is only about an hour, but you don't feel like it it's too short or too long. The string quartet was really good. We will be back!!

Greatest experience ever! From beginning to end, First of all, let me say the owner was so nice when we met and just the sweetest person. She assured me my coordinator would be the same, I didn't think that could happen however she kept her word. We had our coordinator Tatiana with us the whole time. I was a little nervous leading up to the actual event day, but when the day came, she was so involved and our event couldn't have gone any smoother without her! Everyone was so impressed with her actions and invovement on details. Just like I told her I am forever grateful for her help and making our special day run as smoothly as it possibly could. If I could give her 10 stars I would! I highly recommend this venue and Tatiana if you want your event to run smoothly and carefree.

Beautiful venue downtown Modesto. Service was excellent. Who knew this place was hidden downtown? My nieces bridal shower was held here and it was beautiful

I was so stressed out. Dj and makeup artist canceled last minute. Hairstylist canceled the day before. A friend in charge of cake didn't get the cake. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. But my experience at the Century was the only thing that went right and was nothing short of amazing. The venue and setting was beautiful. Allison was such a great help with the decorating. The food was delicious.. had compliments all night. The chef was a lifesaver.. the day of he put together this store bought cake and made it gorgeous. But the person I really would like to take the time to personally thank was Tatiana. Throughout this whole stressful process she was very reassuring and had us at ease. From planning to the day of event.. Tatiana made us very comfortable and was so patient with us. Communication was great. Tatiana constantly keep us updated and constantly texted and emailed us. If we needed to get ahold of her she was a text or phone call away. Because of her I would definitely book another event at The Century.

The Man and I have been officiating and coordinating weddings for about 10 years now. This place, by far, has been the BEST experience!!The venue provided a full team, including a wedding coordinator. My part was more handling the personal stuff with the family and girls and all the emotions and stress that come with getting 9 girls dressed for a wedding :-) The girls had a bridal suite to get dressed in, which had a steamer. Came in very handy, even though we had a couple issues with it after refilling it. But it was all good!The boys had a man cave and were able to chill - since, you know, it takes guys a fraction of the time to get ready!Crystal was the venue coordinator, and Christopher was her right hand. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PEOPLE! Anything we needed, they provided. Guest list is a must! And I LOVE that they literally had someone at the door checking the guest list. This took away so much stress! Again, I was so busy, these are the only picture I got from rehearsal. Gr! Overall, I'm so glad I now know if this place!

We had a celebration of life at The Century in October. Our event coordinator Erica Ford was Amazing!!! Everyone on staff that day for our event was phenomenal. Everyone on staff that day was so considerate and respectful, they took amazing care of the family and made the day a great memory even on the worse day. Everything from the presentation of the food and the taste of the food was amazing. The professionalism of the staff was top notch. I will definitely be using The Century again for anything up coming. Thank you again!!!

Absolutely Loved The Century!!Our coordinator Tatiana was amazing and helped us create the dark and moody vibe we wanted. They handled all the small details, which allowed us to enjoy the planning process and be stress free the day of our wedding. No doubt selecting The Century was the best choice for our special day.

The Century hosted my sister and brother in law's wedding May 5. The overall experience was amazing. They go above and beyond to make sure you get what you want and are on your team. "I GOT YOU" was repeated throughout by Tatiana. She was amazing as our coordinator and really helped make the reception for 220+ people run smoothly. The venue is amazing. You get the most for your $ here and can accommodate so many guests as well as have room to customize details for your perfect wedding. I wish I could have had my reception here five years ago!
