The Cajun Spot

The service here is amazing, had a conversation with the owner she is amazing her name is Li. I felt right at home. Got the crab legs with the trifecta sauce and it was the best seafood boil we've had this far. My daughters loved it. Ate it so fast we didn't even notice we didn't take any pictures. Must return to this place soon.

We have been coming to Cajun Spot for a few years now and haven't been in a while - we were unfortunately very disappointed this tine around. We got our usual Bucket #3 and immediately noticed how much smaller the portion is. We used to feed three people on this and now there is barely enough for two. The shrimp were way overdone and rubbery - to the point that the shell stuck to the meat like super glue. The corn and potatoes were mushy and overdone and the pound of crab equaled two small clusters. The trifecta sauce is now sweet and hardly spicy even at the 2nd level. We also made the mistake of ordering two unsweetened iced teas which ended up being two bottles of Pure Leaf Iced Tea that they charge $6 a piece for! Total out the door was $113 after a 20% tip for a meal that was lackluster at best, and way overpriced for the quality it presented. We won't be returning again unfortunately; we can make our own seafood boil for a fraction of the cost and with much better care and quality.

The crab is spectacular here ! Always fresh and moist, a treat to enjoy. People here are wonderful, staying on the ball making sure you're happy with your meal keeping your drinks full. If you gotta crab, crayfish or catfish craving this is the place to go. You won't be sorry. Restaurant is very clean and inviting. I live in Hayward my boys live in Galt this is are meetup spot when we want Crab. Always delicious !!!

The Cajon Spot is a hidden gem! It is family owned and operated. Food and service are both outstanding. This is the go to spot for our family!

We found a spot with good garlic noodles! The boyfriend and i decided to try this place out one weekend. We arrived a few mins after they opened and the place was already packed. We were lucky enough to have a spot. Garlic noodles with sausage (4/5). The dish was oily and the sausage tasted spicy. The dish was pretty delish despite being both oily and spicy.Garlic fries (3/5). The fries were ok. They had fresh garlic bits but the fries seems to be overcooked because they were really crunchy.Chicken tenders with fries (2/5). The chicken tenders were really hard. The batter had way too much flour and also the French fries were overcooked. Chicken tenders ended up being super had the next day since we took it home to eat.Overall, food was good. There was only one waitress that was doing everything all by herself. Service was great despite how busy she was.

This place is so good! If you're looking for a Cajun spot this is it. The lady owner I believe is so attentive and sweet! They definitely earned a long loyal customer! Coming back best weekend

I order my food and hour and a half before I got to the restaurant and when I got there they told me to take a seat and wait for them to make my food. The food was already PAID. Why I had to wait??? Makes no sense. Restaurant only had 2 tables.

I really like this place! I've ordered fried chicken from here and it's always been cooked well, and has very good flavor. They offer lots of flavor options as well as, sauces, dry rubs as well. The prices are reasonable. The crab is very good as well. I would recommend it!!

We used to love this place, but had a bad experience a few years ago and took a break. we just tried to give it another shot today and the lady taking my husbands order rang up 2 extra pounds of king crab (to the tune of $140) that my husband didn't catch until he paid. He walked outside and caught the mistake, went right back in and they told him there was nothing they could do. Couldn't refund the food we didn't order or anything. They were super unwilling to try to remedy it. My husband had to tell them to cancel the order and we'd just dispute the charge. An occasional extra charge isn't a big deal, but $140 worth of food we didn't ask for or want is crazy. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

The customer service here is horrible! I placed an order online with a pick up time of 6:20pm, first transaction I received a notification that there was some type of error. Placed the order again seemed to have gone through but never received a confirmation number. Checked my online bank seen a pending transaction from Cajun Spot AND called to see if my order was received as I still didn't receive a confirmation. When I called the lady asked for my name and said yes we received your order. I drove 20mins and walked in at 6:24pm. Waited in line as other customers were being helped. Without any proper greeting the lady asked if I had an online order, I replied with yes and was told to SIT DOWN and wait because they were just going to start making my food. At this point I was already annoyed, but still sat down and waited. The lady then offered a little macaroon ice cream since I had to wait. (That I did say thank you for) 20mins later she brought me a bag that I knew wasn't correct just by the size. I looked inside the bag and said there more coming right? She then grabbed the bag and asked WHAT DO YOU MEAN? I informed her what I ordered. She left to go check other receipts and said she didn't have my order. I explained the above, how I even called and was told my order was received. The person who took the call was the same lady who I had to deal with as it was only her and one cook in the back. NOT once did she apologize, all she kept saying was she doesn't have my order and asked for an order number. I told her several times I don't have an order number because I didn't receive a confirmation. I ended up walking out (gave back the ice cream) but unfortunately had to come back as I remembered there was a pending transaction that reflect in my acct and wanted to make sure I was going to get charged. Once again the lady asked for my order number THAT I DIDN'T HAVE. Told me to calm down, but yet she was the one who showed no kind of customer service. JUST RUDE. She even had nerve to say I looked like someone who has been there before. Instead of assuming I was someone who been there before I recommend asking for the customers name to confirm the order instead of thinking I looked like a usual. She then called her daughter that takes care of the online orders, was told she sees my order however it didn't go through and she will void the transaction. Not sure how I was charged but yet walked out with no food and no apology. We definitely won't be coming back to this place due to the service.
