The Amarvilas

Ordered the butter chicken, side of rice, garlic naan, and an order of veggie samosas for $25.45. Entrees do not come with rice, and when you order the rice it is not basmati rice, just slightly overcooked rice with no flavor. The butter chicken here is a little different. Tasted a bit diluted, menu states it's a yellow curry instead of the general light orange butter chicken I'm used to. Seems like they don't use any tomato paste? Wasn't a fan of the sauce because there was barely any flavor but the chicken was excellent--tender, juicy, no bones and no issues in taste. I almost gave this spot a 4 just for the chicken. The garlic naan doesn't taste like naan, it's flat and chewier. Just different, and didn't have any garlic taste to it. Veggie samosas were standard and I had no complaints.Overall I probably won't be coming back, not because the food was inedible but because it's not the Indian food that will tend to my cravings. I think this spot makes food inspired from a different area of India.

Second time here, but decided to dine in this time. Butter chicken and Tikka Masala fresh from the kitchen. Piping hot goodness. Mr. Singh told me it came with one order of Naan, thought it wasn't enough, so order another butter Naan. Let me tell you, one order was enough. Highly recommend dining in.

The food and service were excellent, the ambiance was fairly quiet when we went. Overall I would say our experience was great

Noticed they was sponsoring an ad on Yelp so came next day for lunch and they are closed? They was supposed to be open at 11am till 9pm and it's 12:45pm I'll try again tomorrow.

We had the following:Butter Chicken Pizza - Extra Large. $30.99. Very dry. Tasted like curry on bread. Chicken Curry. $11.99. Very good. Good spicy. Chicken Spinach (Saagwala) $11.99. Very thick. Spinach is thick with chunks of chicken. Tried to eat "healthy", not again. Chicken Karahi. $11.99. Broth is tomato based. Watery soup type. Chicken tasted very good. Very mild heat flavor. Garlic Naan. Very good. I'm used to the ones with butter and garlic. Used for dipping curries.

This is a gem!! Very spacious and renovated on the inside. Went for the first time today, was able to dine in and order a cocktail brunch with some chicken tiki masala and nan. The food was spectacular! The nan was made super fresh still ripe with hot oil. Mixed with the rice and masala it was a food coma combo. This is definitely my new Indian food place go to fav for me now. It is conveniently located right off west lane next to holiday cinema. I just want to give a compliment to the service they provided. They went the extra mile every step of the way and accommodated every request I had with a smile on their face. I will recommend to all my friends.

Needed a good Indian food fix, this place was delicious!!! Only 4 stars because I think one of my dishes was wrong but whatever it was it was Delicious will order from here again. They do have some out door seating and seating inside spaced apart!

Got take out from Amarvilas. All in all very good food. Paneer tikka masala was very delicious. Chicken karahi was also good (but had too much bell peppers). Tried different kinds of bread and like tandoori roti the best. Home style paratha is also a good item coz it's not something you get everywhere. Portions are generous. Will definitely visit again. Place also looks very nice to sit and eat..whenever that happens post covid.

I used to go in here at least twice a week with my friends and coworkers. The service is never the best but we dealt with it because the food is okay. Today i ordered take out and upon returning to work not only was there an order of rice missing (honest mistake), there was a bottle cap inside of my coworkers food. The chicken in the dish was also dry and tasted like old previously cooked chicken (i think this food is pag-pag, if you don't know what that is then look it up). When speaking with them on the phone we were met with a rude response, zero apologies, and were then completely ignored all together. My coworkers also tried to call and were met with the same response. We will never eat here again and encourage everyone to steer clear of this 'establishment'

cancelled on me twice through grub hub. hours are incorrect and made me waste time by driving there and wasting my time and money.bad business and i had their food in the past, it's not so great, but was the only place that was apparently "open"
