Best papaya in stockton in my opionion, better than angel cruz park. If you haven't been, you're missing out. It's a little grocery store but you can call in your order and they'll have it ready for you, definitely a must try.

This isn't the average Hmong store with everything you need, but they make good papaya salads. You go to the back and there should be someone there to help you. If not, let the front cashier know and they'll go grab the papaya lady.

Love this lil market. Best papaya salad ever! $5 for a generous bag. Also has some other ready to eat meals prepped for you to go. Small grocery store with fresh veggies, cheap frozen free range and stewing chicken, Sai Oua, lao, hmong sausages and other groceries. Definitely my go to pit stop whenever passing through Stockton!

A small, but awesome Hmong store to stock up on Thai, Lao and Vietnamese ingredients: sauces, rice, noodles, veggies, and some prepared food, including som tum. They also have dry goods, like soap, shampoo, lunch boxes, and cookery. I can always find my favorite snacks: shrimp chips, crispy seaweed, jelly cups and squid snacks. A great alternative when 99 Ranch isn't nearby.

My go to for papaya salad. They have some of my hmong faves and reasonably priced produce.
