Tequileros Taqueria

First off This taqueria is extremely clean and smells very clean too! I ordered the fish tacos, shrimp quesadilla, protein bowl and asada friesI throughly enjoyed the fish tacos and shrimp quesadilla. I wish there was an extra fish taco the price. But overall the taste was there!!!

So so disappointed with all the hype and the pictures looking and sounding so awesome. I ordered two super burritos with no rice and one breakfast burrito with bacon, eggs, and potato. Why were the two super burritos with Asada the same size as a breakfast burrito but cost four dollars more ? The two super Asada burritos lacked flavor. . The only good thing I can say about the breakfast burrito that it was packed with bacon, but also flavorless had to put salt and salsa in every bite. I will agree that their salsa are delicious, but we shouldn't have to rely on the salsas for flavor. The flavor should already be cooked into each dish, not having to rely on a salsa for flavor. The salsa should just be the added bonus to take it to a next level. Being raised on my Abuela's authentic Mexican cooking, I can say that this restaurant is far from being real good authentic Mexican food.

Disappointed & Won't Be ReturningWe used to love Tequileros and have been regulars for their tacos, but after our most recent experience, we won't be returning.First, the service was disappointing. My husband went to pick up our to-go order, and while he waited, an older woman (who didn't appear to be a staff member but was handling money) made rude remarks in Spanish, questioning why he was just standing there. When he responded in Spanish, explaining that he was there for a pick-up, she seemed surprised that he understood her. This interaction felt unwelcoming and unprofessional.To make matters worse, the next day my husband became extremely sick from food poisoning. We have never had any issues with their food before, but this last visit was enough to make us reconsider ever coming back.It's a shame, because we've always enjoyed their food in the past, but between the rude service and the food safety concerns, we can no longer recommend Tequileros.

Went for taco Tuesday. The tacos were good (we stopped coming for a while cause they were a miss for a while) they have definitely improved!!! Margarita flight was just as good! The service was good as well. Fingers crossed that they continue to improve.

Found their truck first and loved their loaded fries wi5h pastor then find out they have this spot here in stockton. 5 stars all around.

The shrimp nachos were delicious. Also got beans and rice, birra taco and burrito. Burritos need more sour cream. Service was nice. Played good music. Very clean restaurant and restroom

I have been ordering Quesabirria tacos from here for over a year. I have tried other places but I always come back here. They are darn delicious. Try the birria burrito, my kids like them. They also have a good selection of drinks and real Mexican coke. Jarritos of different flavors. The inside is smaller and I usually take everything home. The staff is all bilingual and super friendly.

The food was good. My husband got a shrimp burrito and it was delicious. My Birria burrito wasn't as good. I think as tacos would been better but over I enjoy the food and service. The ambience was nice. It low key feels like an original Mexican restaurant. It's semi modern. The music they were playing brought me back memories from el rancho. The counter guy was super nice and the cooks as well. I say it it could been a 10/10 if I ate something else but that was my choice so my fault, I love everything but my choice of meat lol.

I recently visited Tequileros Taqueria's new location on West Lane for lunch and was overall impressed with my experience. I ordered the Tequileros fries and two tacos, both of which were delicious. My only minor critique would be that I prefer my fries to be a bit more well done.One thing I really appreciated was the option to choose between mild and hot for those who aren't accustomed to spicy food like myself. I liked that I could still enjoy the flavors without overwhelming heat, but could also add hot sauce on the side if I wanted to kick things up a notch.The customer service was also excellent. The girl who helped me was very friendly and took the time to explain the differences between the two tacos I ordered. It was a nice touch that made me feel valued as a customer.Overall, I had a great lunch at Tequileros Taqueria and will definitely be returning. I'm looking forward to bringing my sisters along next time to share the experience. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for tasty Mexican food with great service.
