TD’s Sports Bar

This is a great dive bar with great drinks and service. The bartender even made special drinks for us. There was also a chalkboard near the bathroom where we could write our names, which was cute. Great music too. This is a small town and we had no trouble finding street parking.

Staff, service, and ambiance was excellent! Fun spot to watch the Niners game on the way back from Tahoe :)

This bar thinks it is ok to let people harass you and when you leave because of being harassed, they call the cops on you. I did tell the guy to stop touching me and to leave me alone several times to the point I did threaten to beat him up (the bartender, Meg did nothing to this person harassing us in front of her). So Meg "the General manager" told US to leave, we did, only to have the police called on us. All we wanted to do was have a drink and have this guy leave us alone. If you are ever in Ione, CA. AVOID this bar. They let the locals abuse us, and even say racist stuff in our presence. This is the only watering hole in walking distance, and I do not want to torpedo it until I speak with the owners, I want to encourage the owners to reach out to me, as there is no faith in the maturity and ability of Meg the current manager. We left before finishing round of drinks, and we did nothing damaging or menacing, only to have to cops stop us, and realize that TD's made a bogus call to them.
