WOW! THE CHICKEN IS FLAVORFUL & CRISPY!Loved:* The chicken wings! ( seasoned perfectly and Crispy in the best way)* The Mac and cheese is very good! Needs Work:* Greens were just okay, they look like they had beef in them. ( I grew up with ham hawks or neckbones in my greens) I didn't really taste what I was looking for. *Yams didn't taste bad, but not good. Something was off.. I think there was too much nutmeg or cinnamon bc they are so dark. Definitely needs a revamp bc the way they look isn't inviting nor do they scream amazing as they are now.I will definitely be back for the chicken and the mac and cheese!!! Sooo good :)

I Went To The Place To Get Some Food And It's Not There At The Address Given There's No Sign Up Etc The Gate Was Closed And Locked It Looks Like It's Vacant Or Closed Down Whatever Business Was There I Even Called The Phone Number And A Answering Machine Came On And I Left A Message With My Phone Number And I Haven't Heard From Them Yet And That Was On Thursday So Somebody Need To Check To See If This Is A Legitimate Business Or Not Im Upset Because I Was Dying To Get Some Of Their Food Especially The Peach Cobbler Ok Am I The Only One That This Has Happened To I Would Like To Know.

I've heard many good things about Taste of Bae, so I was extremely excited to try the food. I ordered the Large Strip Meal. It comes with five chicken strips, fries, and a drink. I added on the side of macaroni & cheese too. The tenders were piping hot and tasted so good with the BBQ sauce. The Kool-Aid drink was so fruity and refreshing. Finally, the fries were perfectly seasoned and crisp. The only downfall was the macaroni & cheese. It was extremely oily, and I couldn't enjoy it all the way. Overall, I wished the macaroni & cheese would've been better. I may come back to try other options, though.

The quality of the food was good and the customer service was friendly, courteous, and attentive. We ordered two fish dinners which came with two sides. The fish was bass and fried well with an overwhelming amount of flavor. The mac an cheese was supposedly the side to die for but fell short of my high expectations. I did however like the yam (might have been candied?) and gravy on the rice. To top it off we ordered a tiny bowl of peach cobbler which was tasty but too tiny of a portion that was overpriced. I am all for supporting small businesses, as I am sure other people are, but when you take that opportunity to overcharge the well-intentioned folks that give your establishment a chance then that just erodes trust. This was my experience when I got charged an unrecognizable tax that was labelled "group A" and a "checkout fee". Never heard of that type of fee taxed on food.Please be transparent about what we will be charged because that coupled with your already great customer service and good food, you'd be able to attract and maintain patrons to your restaurant.

Beautiful beef hotlink. Great bread tasty. Beautiful presentation. Mustard adds a nice lovely taste. Peppers are grilled nicely. Fries are thick and crunchy. Seasoned nice. Recommend you try this meal if your in the food court.

This was my first time trying this place,and my last time trying this place... some of the pieces of chicken was slightly burned; the rice and gravy sucks! It tasted bland and had no flavor. The yams were decent but... could have tasted better. Needed more brown sugar and butter. I won't try this place again. It's too damn hard to get good, quality soul food in Stockton.

I ordered the cheeseburger meal and it was pretty good! Everything was flavorful and was different from any burger I've had in the past and I really liked that! Both the burger and fries were crispy which made it even better! First time trying the place and I happened to go when there were technical issues but that wasn't a problem to me.. I waited longer than I expected but it was all good in the end! I will be coming back here again! *Note: I only took a video of my food and this was a screenshot from my video

Had to babysit my puppies at the shop today because one them is sick and the owner was kind enough to deliver the food because I didn't have my wallet and only had some cash on me.Normally they only use other plate-forms like DoorDash but they do cater businesses..The food was delicious. The crispy 5 piece chicken with the two side hit the spot. Chicken was seasoned and cooked to perfection .. Save me a little time when I get home tonight because I don't have to cook lol..I highly recommend

We were in town for our son's soccer game. Wanted to get some grub before heading back home. My husband found this restaurant online. I was immediately intrigued because it was black owned and something different than the typical fast food. Of course I want to support a black owned business! So we stopped by the mall and ordered from here. The chicken was BOMB. Not to mention hot and fresh out the grease. I got the tenders meal. The flavor was perfect. My husband and son got wings. The service was nice also! We thoroughly enjoyed everything except the greens could've been cooked longer. They were a bit hard. Maybe it just wasn't a good day for the greens but everything else was on point. Glad we stopped by. Would definitely go again if we are ever in town!

First time going, was hesitant at first because it's hard to find good soul food places in Stockton but thought I'd give it a try. Ordered the fish plate which comes with 2 sides, i got Mac n cheese and hush puppies. My bf got the wing plate with greens and rice & gravy. The fish was good, seasoned well and flavorful, the Mac and cheese was good but had a little too much season for me, a bit salty. The hush puppies were ok. My bf chicken wings were dry and fried a little too much, his greens were pretty good and the rice and gravy was decent. The reason i didn't give them 5 stars, was because of the prices our total came out to be $77 for two plates and two drinks, one was alcohol which i expect but i didn't expect to be charged $16 for a virgin mojito which was the same price as the alcoholic drink. Most likely won't be going again, the price isn't worth it to me.
