Taqueria Ripon El Molcajete

We stopped by this taco truck on the way home from a weekend family cabin trip in Twain Harte. My sister says she always stops by this place on the way home. It's located on the corner of a 4 way cross street next to one fruit stand. The tacos were yummy. We ordered 2 chorizo , 2 asada, and 2 pastor. Very yummy and tasty! Very authentic. The prices are really good! Maybe our total for 6 tacos plus a Jarrito was $10 bucks something. (Maybe because were from the bay area it's always a little more pricier.)My sister ordered a burrito and it was hugeee! My nephew ordered a quesadilla and it was very cheesy and very hearty, not scrawny at all. I will definitely add this to my Manteca food list if we are ever in the area again.

Fantastic taqueria!! If you are driving along Highway 120 out of Manteca, this is a must-stop location. Great quality, very pleasant service. These are some of my favorite dishes:-ricas quesabirria de res: delicious stewed beef wrapped in tortillas and onion/cheese-the regular al pastor nachos: if you are in a hurry, this is a good dish for the road. Delicious pork and fresh salsa piled on top of crisp nachos. There is a "super" version that includes guacamole/sour cream, I believe.-tacos de nopales: prickly pear cactus (nopales/nopalitos are the flat pads of the nopal/prickly pear cactus) is my favorite. These tacos are the perfect, light dish for a hot day. Also, if you (or you yourself) are on a road trip with a vegetarian/vegan, then I believe this is a good plant-based dish for them as well. I've stopped here almost every time on my way through the area - it's become a ritual at this point. The food is incredibly fresh and full of flavor. Definitely try this place out!

The 5 stars do not lie. We were routed off our normal highway 4 route from Arnold and were getting quite hangry. This truck is offering amazing food and service. Can't wait to come back again!

We got a takeout lunch from here after going apple picking at a nearby Ripon orchard, and had a positive experience. Good tacos; fast, friendly service; felt reasonably Covid-safe. We picked up the following tacos:1) 3 al pastor - tasty 2) 3 carne asada - delicious 3) 3 carnitas - good, though not as flavorful as the others 4) 4 pollo asado - a bit dry and lacking in flavor; I wouldn't get them again We called in our order on the phone and the staff member I spoke with was friendly and helpful. Our order was ready faster than promised, which was a nice surprise (it was ready when we arrived 15 minutes after ordering, though we had been told 20-25 minutes). When we arrived, they quickly rang up my order, and thoughtfully asked if I wanted salsa and what kinds.Covid-safety wise, I appreciated that the staff had masks. The fact that one staff member's mask kept slipping below her nose made me a bit uncomfortable. It would have been great if everyone here had a well-fitting mask. There were 4 parties dining indoors when I stopped by, and they were spread out.Note: the address listed on Yelp is incorrect. The correct address is 108 E. Main St. in downtown Ripon. Overall, we had a good experience here and would recommend it for take out.

We made multiple orders and they had a very nice service. I ordered birria tacos but only their taco truck has the consome but it was great either way!

Wherever this truck was in the past, it's been at the crossroads of Jack Tone Road and E. Yosemite Ave. (Hwy 20) just east of Manteca for a couple of years now. They're parked in the large lot next to the veggie stand. I was last there in February 2025. Used my credit card for a nicely sized carnitas burrito served with two sides of salsa. It was wonderful. I certainly don't need to eat for the rest of the day. Guys in the truck are friendly and quick to get the orders out. I stayed parked in the lot to eat. Saw a parade of customers come for the food. Tourists, locals, truckers and a number of service work truck drivers. Folks like this place.

Yeah go ahead and stay away Address on file is fake, costumer service is rude as fuck hung up in my face LOL their address says Jack tone road, however you'll drive to a dead end when you call they'll tell you it's a building there in fact is no building by this name on the address in their yelp. This place is a mess....

Best tacos and horchata we have had. Super friendly service.We really enjoyed it and will bring back friends

They were out of fish. We had a shrimp super burrito and a breakfast burrito with chicken (not on menu). Absolute perfection. This location also had nice clean picnic tables and a produce stand nearby.

Very good didn't believe the reviews at first but would definitely go again. The food was delicious
