El Grullense

This is the second time we tried this amazing restaurant. Fresh, tasty, spicy, plentiful and delicious!! I have been trying burritos for years. El Grullense? Thank you!! The second my Son hit the restaurant? He was greeted with thankfulness and appreciation. He was welcomed. I appreciate that!! Thank you!! The ingredients in my asada burrito? Over abundance of asada, whole beans (cooked perfectly) and rice with flavorful hot sauce!! My heart is so happy!! My belly is full. My tastebuds are screaming more, more, more!! My Son had asada tacos with asada fries. I was too late for that picture. I have half of my burrito left for the morning. I have tried several different restaurants here in Lodi. For me? El Grullense is my preferred choice. I was also given condiments. Lemon, radishes and jalapenos. Love this!! Thank you again for this amazing food!! We will definitely be back

Was craving a southside El Grullense burrito but was in Lodi so decided to go here since it's pretty much the same thing. Was pretty bummed that they Messed up on our order as well as our friends order. Forgot to add sour cream and cilantro on all of our burritos. A friend ordered a bean and cheese burrito which the cheese wasn't melted and was just thrown on the beans. It was horrible! The fries for the asada fries needed to be cooked a little longer. But as always the asada was flavorful and the hot sauce was on point. Maybe it was just an off day for the cook. Well definitely be back again tho since it's closer to us

SO AMAZING BEST IN NORCAL BY FAR!! I live 30 min away but I'll drive every two days I'm not kidding. All the meat is so flavorful I love asada and tripas. The sopes are an easy 12/10 if you ever went you would be amazed by the speed, quality, and service. So friendly so quick and the atmosphere is nice. Always clean!!

Gross carne asada tacos meat was old do not go! Drove from sacramento to lodi but dont let reviews trick you.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!I loved the Al pastor supreme burrito. So juicy and flavorful. It's pretty big so it's perfect to chow down and knock out into a nice nap. The place has sauces and toppings that are and for you to load up on your burrito for in house or take out. Staff or friendly as usual. Parking free nearby.

I ordered food to go over the phone the gentleman that took my order was had good customer service. The place is small and had quick service took about 15 mins for my food and it was ready at pickup and food was still hot. Ordered asada fries although it didn't have nacho cheese it was still really good. The asada meat is marinated so well. And it was good portion. On Wednesday they have asada fries special with a free soda or water. I ordered a plain taco and side of rice and the rice alone did not taste that good. But definitely worth a try.

best carnita corn tacos in 50 states. We stop here as much as we can. They catered our party at our apt building as well. Love it!

This place has the best quality meats and food making skills. Perfect sized menu, nice condiment bar. Bottled beers, Mexican sodas, canned sodas. I'm pretty sure it's family run and they are super nice and the food is consistently good. I'm not kidding when I say I eat here 3-4 times a week because I love the bleep out of their tripa tacos. Their carne asada is always on point and carnitas. Everything including the service. Give it a shot if you're in the area and you will not be disappointed.

Stick to tacos. They're ok. Unfortunately this review is about their quesadilla. It's greasy and lacks cheese and any ingredients. They are generous with the meat but it really lacks. I did not eat it there. The restaurant is standard at best. The majority of patrons take their food to go.

BEST TACOS IN TOWN!!!! Been coming here for a decade! Always so delicious and authentic!
