One of my friends put me on game about this place and I am not disappointed! I wasn't sure what to order, so Morelia, the sweet young lady that helped me, recommended some of the more popular burritos. I went with a small carnitas burrito. The carnitas were tasty and the salsa was great! They offer large burritos but the small burrito I order was enough for me. They also offer combination plates if you're not in the mood for a burrito. This is a clean little family-owned spot that offers good food and friendly service. There is seating available if you care to dine in. They are open from 3:30AM to 12:00PM and they accept cash only.

This taqueria is a diamond in the rough. I love that they are open so early in the morning, accommodating farm workers before an energetic shift. Alejandra is as friendly as she is beautiful. For five dollars, I get a large bean, rice and salsa burrito. Inside is very spirited. A map of Mexico as well as sports memorabilia decorates the walls. They also have a television, seating and restrooms available. I enjoy supporting businesses in downtown Stockton. They are very reasonably priced and, as for Taqueria Dos Hermanos, offer calorically-rich food to industrious people. i Gracias, Alejandra !

What a hidden gem. I got a small chicken burrito which came with a very spicy and complex sauce. Perfect size for a meal, only $5.50! I got there around 12 o'clock. They said they weren't open, but took an order for me and another man anyway. I guess that means they don't strictly adhere to their hours, but can be flexible. Ask them! This place is cash only.

Check this out!!!http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/jDT0Y10P8NTtlp5t5a1UaQ?select=Kz8ssIw40AXxPD5bwl037whaha...sooo... I would suggest that if you try this place do so with one or two orthree big buddies...during the DAYTIME! :)Might not want to take your family here until you check it out first. That said and out of the way...I tried this place after I asked a real, trueHispanic friend of mine where to get real Mexican food. I told him I amtired of floundering around like a fish out of water ever since 'my' Tio Pepe'sclosed. :(He suggested two places...this place and also La Terraza. Since I haveeaten at La Terraza before I called them to see how late they were open."We are closing now"...that was a few minutes before 6 pm. So I decidedto try TDH!The real deal here... I was the only gringo here. Even the tv was on a Spanish station. Not a problem. I came for the grub.TDH is also a take-out place. But I ate there. You order at the counterwhere all of the food is on a hot table. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/jDT0Y10P8NTtlp5t5a1UaQ?select=V5NDD56gm7-qMjeckiSmAghttp://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/jDT0Y10P8NTtlp5t5a1UaQ?select=83iiSX92YMUoDsUAztetVQI ordered a combo plate. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/jDT0Y10P8NTtlp5t5a1UaQ?select=k_bWYYmht8DVbiJ44dMC-ATwo meats.. bbq pork and pork with cactus I believe.Came with rice and beans and your choice of flour or corn tortillas. $6The rice was light and almost fluffy. Didn't stick together like lots of otherplaces. The beans were thinner and almost runny. Both where fine forme...I took it to mean that they did not use a lot of manteca (lard for yougringos) in their cooking. The meats were also tasty. Nothing specialabout the flour tortillas. This is not a chip and salsa place.I was surprised with the amount of foot traffic in and out of this place.A few people stopped in to order burritos to go. Looked pretty big tome. Four bucks.....or with sour cream $4.50Note to Stocktonians that have been around for a while. This restaurant/deli is where Ospital's Villa Basque used to be.I might return if I was in the area. But I want to try La Terraza againfirst since it's been a while since I ate there.Oh, yeah... and lastly... I found this place by chance here on yelp. I work until 4am and was craving a burrito. Needless to say I wasn't disappointed with the food, just the fact that they only take cash.

I found this place looking for something open early morning, came across this place. I was a little skeptical but was actually really impressed. I got a small burrito it was just meat, rice, beans, and onion I didn't think I was going to like it but the meat was so flavorful. The food didn't look that appealing as it is shown buffet style but I'm curious what the other meats taste like. The downfall is it's not in a very good location open at 330am on a corner with a lot of homeless people sleeping, hanging out in the area.No AC in the building which made it very humid and hot but it's ok because you probably will not eat there.I have a new spot to go to either before work at 5am or early morning if it was a late night and are hungry for something other than fast foodOh by the way they are cash only

My spontaneous afternoon lunch was very good. The pics from the other writer capture the ambiance nicely. My burrito was great. I am grading on the curve on this one. Considering the location, they are a 4 star. Give them a shot. It's worth your time and money for the experience.
