Tacos Limonense

First time here. Delish! I'm from San Jose/Stockton and this truck is hands down bomb!

Dropped by Tacos Limonense passing through town and I had the pleasure of enjoying carnitas and Al pastor tacos. The tortillas were perfectly heated with a nice crisp on the outside. The carnitas tacos were juicy and slightly crunchy on the outside. Although the picture on the truck showed the Al pastor on a vertical grill I don't think thats a fair representation and that perhaps their Al pastor just seasoned and chopped pork grilled on the flat top - kind of good but not really authentic. All in all, it's a good taco truck that should not be missed!

I found Tacos Limonense parked next to the Manteca Public Library. A cash only operation, it limited me from buying my usual array of dishes and thus making it harder to grade. I had a carnitas burrito. It was dense, loaded with meat, rice and beans. It had a little zing to it besides the cilantro. Perhaps I should've ordered the Supreme and gotten a little more (onions, crema, etc). So that leaves me at a personal score of 3.5 stars. I need to go back with a little more scratch and sample further. I can then award the extra half for a four star rating.

Very solid taco truck located on the side street right next to the Manteca Library. Not the best taco or burrito I've ever had, but certainly nowhere near the worst either. I've dined here many times and always have an enjoyable meal. Prices aren't bad, though it's cash only so remember to take cash! My personal favorite of the meats I've tried has been the Pollo Asada. I tried the hot Cheetos burrito once and while the novelty sounds cool, I found it to be one of the worst things I've had at this truck. The hot Cheetos overpower everything else and takes away from the other tasty ingredients. If you're looking for a conveniently located taco truck for reasonable prices, you could do a lot worse than this.

Great flavor! The truck is there 7 days a week from 10:30 am to 8 pm ish:)I had 2 veggie tacos, a veggie huarache and an aqua fresca (Jamaica)For the veggies they do rice, beans, cheese, lettuce, radish and tomatoes. They also will add crema but I leave that off. They all had a green sauce that had a little spice but it was delicious. They also gave me grilled onions on the side. Love that!The Jamaica was delicious as well. There is street parking and they put out some tables and chairs. They were also at a city park so more benches available. All came to $10.50. Very good price and quick service. Thank you ladies

The best quesabirria I've ever had!! I got to enjoy an order at the Pumpkin Fair and immediately fell in love! The tacos are nicely crispy and don't get too soggy on the plate. The consommé was so so flavorful and not overly salty. I didn't think I'd finish an order of three but it was so hard to stop. I did get VERY full though, whoops. The food coma was very well worth it. The meat is perfectly good and have lots of flavor. Not too tough at all. I've already been back for my second visit in a week. What a treat! My friend enjoyed the asada fries as well and loved them so much they ordered them again during our second visit. Believe I just found my favorite tacos in Manteca!

Parked daily on the corner of W. Center & Manteca Ave near the library. Love at first bite! The Hubbs found this taco truck and I saw sope's on the menu so I was in! Hubbs liked the food so much, he was back the next day at 11am for more shrimp taco's!The huaraches & sopes are thin and fried crispy then topped with the meat of your choice, lettuce, tomato, salsa, cheese and sour cream. Warning the salsa is spicy, they do offer a mild green salsa if you don't want to burn. Both the carne asada and al pastor had a good flavor and a great price at $4.50 for the huarache and $2.50 for the sope. Tacos are small street tacos at $2 each. Babes had a plain chicken taco that was loaded in meat. Cheap tasty bites, for the 3 of us, dinner came out to $18 & left $2 in the tip jar!

I'm iffy about this place, I come all the time the food was perfect when I first started going past month or two I've been getting tacos with mixed meat, some meat seems old some is fresh and is not tasting good. Please fix this & throw out food once it gets to hard. It's starting to happen to me more frequently, first couple times I ignored it but don't want to waste my money anymore.
