Tacos El Jalapeno

This is my go-to spot in Modesto for quesadillas de huitlacoche made with hand-made tortillas. They are pretty huge and I give them 4 stars only because the huitlacoche isn't fresh, it's canned. For all you meat eaters they have asada, chicken, lengua, chorizo, and tripa. They make tortas, tacos, and huaraches too. They used to be on Paradise Rd, according to the owner for 13 years, but now they moved to this spot. I'm glad we found this food truck again!

Best taco truck around.. Love the tacos de tripa bien dorada sooo good !!! My mouth waters just thinking about there food. Recommend it 100%

I usually don't write reviews, but I used to get food from here back in 2016. Unfortunately, the few times I've come back recently, it's been a serious disappointment and a waste of money.The food quality has gone downhill--you can taste that some of the ingredients are close to expiring. On top of that, the person cooking doesn't wear a hairnet, which raises concerns about hygiene.

This place has always been consistently good. $2 tacos is pretty decent for what youre getting.

The best tortas and all of their meat is delicious I love their langua. My absolute favorite place to go get my craving. I always order 6 tacos and something else I recently tried the tostadas

My family and I came here for years while I was in elementary-high school. We stopped going once I graduated but I recently went again last year. My car had actually broken down right in front of it! When I went to ask the woman for some napkins, she was so rude so I just didn't go back. Up until last week, I went again to get my dad some food and my dad loved it. The man who took my order was such a sweet guy, very funny and happy. The absolute only negative thing I have to say about it currently is that the area is not great but that's Modesto for you!

I've been coming here for years. Hands down my favorite taco truck! The burritos are the best in Modesto and the salsa is sooo good. I moved to Merced so sadly I can't go as often but when I'm visiting, it's a must for me to stop there. Their customer service is also great! They're very nice and welcoming.

Better tacos than Crows landing ! They are so yummy. The asada tacos are well seasoned and the green salsa isn't too spicy!

The best tacos from a truck I've ever had . They have. Amazing wet burritos. The red is super spicy and amazing the green is tangy and delicious as well. I'm mostly a carne asada guy but their carnitas and pastor delicious as well. Very polite people that make you feel like family.

I live in AZ when i come to visit my dad this is my go to spot, its close by never too busy and the tacos de asada always hit the spot!
