Tacos De Nieve

They were not "the worst tacos ever" as some have stated. They were not "the best ever" either. The rice was WAY over salted! I tend to over salt my food, as my loved ones have told me. So, without adding any salt to the rice, and me commenting on the saltiness, it speaks volumes! I felt the chicken was very bland. I used it to tone down the saltiness of the rice. They were friendly, and courteous. I just couldn't get over the amount of salt used.

Renee catered my retirement party. She was professional, timely, and efficient. She left the area where she had the grill set up completely cleaned up. And, the food was delicious with generous portions. I didn't realize that several of my guests were vegetarians, but Renee generously accommodated them with cheese quesadillas (she did this without me asking). We had chicken and carne asada tacos, rice, beans with all the authentic toppings as well as chips and salsa. I highly recommend Renee. Her very nice teenage son helped too!!

Renee is an absolute dream to work with and the food she provides is absolutely incredible! We used Tacos De Nieve for our wedding catering for a little over 100 guests. The food was delicious and everyone raved about not only how good the food was but about how amazing Renee and her family staff were to work with. The food truly is top notch and great for groups! I was a little worried about the tacos not being done quick enough to keep up with our demand but Renee was always ready and the line went very quickly. She was extremely generous with our vendors as well and made sure that they had plates of food ready to go. Renee was super flexible with some additional menu items we needed for appetizers, the elote cups were a huge hit and made for the perfect hand held appetizer for our guests. My husband is a huge Mexican food buff (sometimes hard to please :)) and he raved about the food but his most favorite was the cabbage salsa and of course the elote cups. My favorite was the tacos and guacamole! I highly recommend Tacos De Nieve for your next event. 10/10

Delicious! Had the luck of having tacos at a wine event and ohmygoodness were they good! I had chicken/carne asada/ Al pastor tacos and they were all so good! The cotija cheese on top was the bomb as was the salsa! I will forward her info to the wineries I'm a member of bc this was so good! Thanks for the cilantro sans onions !

Hello Renee, I just wanted to say thank you for catering on Saturday - the boys were super helpful! And, smiling the whole time!!!We had a great time celebrating and I was able to relax and socialize instead of worrying about the food for the party. Thank you again P.s.The salsa was deeeelish

Yesterday could not have been the success it was if it hadn't been for you!! Your tacos, rice and beans were amazing, along with the freshest condiments. Renee is very personable and always responded in a timely manner with questions. I definitely will be calling on Tacos De Nieve for another party. Thank you again Renee!

It pains me to have to write this as I wanted to give this local business a chance and at the time I booked Renee, only one negative review existed; but I now see I am not the only one who feels my event was ruined. I will admit, I was running late to my own wedding, but with the times that were discussed, I'm surprised I saw her truck show up at 4:15 pm. Our ceremony was originally scheduled for 5:30 pm and eating was to take place at around 6:15 pm, which is what I believe was discussed. After the ceremony, my guests had to rush over to the the food because Renee said she was leaving at 7:30 pm because she had another client booked for the evening. In her agreement it states for each extra hour needed, it is a 100 dollar fee. We would have gladly paid that fee, but how can one pay a fee if the caterer is already saying they are booked for a second event that evening? I had multiple guests tell me that Renee was rude and they asked for extra tacos and she refused their requests; and all of my close guests also told me they did not like the food. I also found out that the meats I had requested, she did not provide. I specifically asked for carnitas as one of the meats, and instead was given el pastor. Sadly, I was actually supposed to get married last year but the groom and I ended up getting covid, and I think It would have just been better for us if Renee would have cancelled altogether, like our original photographer had. My family and I choose to do tacos because we though it would be easier on us, but I now realize my family would have been better off makingour own food. It was such a disappointment, and to think I actually choose Renee for her name, Tacos de Nieve. I am now embarrassed to share the same last name with her as we clearly do not share the same values. Tacos de Nieve, more like Tacos de Nasty...

If i could give no stars I would. The cost was $12.00 per person, that was with the extra charge for quesadillas.On top of that charge they included an additional fee for a gratuity (additional $189). she arrived with no pop up for shade, she said i cant cook in the sun,that nobody told her to bring one. We had to scramble to track one down. The sides on the table,were 1 bowl cheese,grilled onion/cilantro,hot salsa( no mild). The food was horrible beans tasted like out of can in water rice tasted like it was out of a box and the 3 choices of meat especially the beef( looked like hamburger) super salty. When our guests asked for quesadilla with meat they were told "no meat is expensive " and he was told he would have to wait even though he was next in line. We ran out of cheese on table,I asked her boys for more, they said they were running out. I said we need some Reluctantly they pulled out a bag a d filled our bowl Renee sat in her truck for last 30 minutes or so and had her 2 boys contine with serving. They were cleaning up 15 minutes before our time was up. Overall all our guests complained about the service and the food. We will definitely do more research in future.
