Tacos Chapala

Bomb dot com!! I come here every time I'm in town to visit my family. Tacos are so good. Good amount of meat, delicious sauce & a slightly crispy but soft tortilla. Burrito is also soooo good. My family calls this the "209 burrito" I'm more of a taco girl but this place makes some bomb burritos too!! The horchata was alright. I will probably skip it next time. Service was great. Girls at the counter were nice while taking our order. Lots of tables inside. Love the sauce bar & the little area by the counter to get grilled onions & jalapeños. So good with whatever you order. Overall, I love this place & will always come back when I'm in town. No complaints from me!

Located in a strip mall off Hammer Lane. Plenty of parking. It's nice inside with a full salsa bar. They have plastic salsa containers to get your own which is nice.The register lady was not welcoming, just kind of took the order. I was handed a drink cup but wasn't told where to get my drink. I didn't know I was supposed to go behind her to pour my own drink or get the bottle out the refrigerator. They called out our order number. It took about 15 minutes which seemed longer than expected. When asked, I said yes to cilantro and onion but taco didn't come with. I had to ask for it after and no fork for the plate I ordered. Typically I don't mind but it's almost like you bother them for asking. Now for the food. Beans taste bitter like from a can. Rice tasted homemade and the chile relleno was good. I enjoyed it with the red orange salsa from the salsa bar. The one was good and spicy. The birria was good. I liked how they give you 2 tortillas on the side with your plate. Overall, service sucked but food was good.

I loved this place for the longest. We used to come here every time we wanted good tacos. Once a week for sure. Over the past 2 months somethings have changed. The food doesn't taste the same, the tortillas are different, the meat is dryer, the salsa bar is always empty or dirty and the customer service has been a hit or miss. And the wait time on the phone has been very long, sometimes they even hang up.We really like this spot and I would hate to look for another tacos spot, but I don't consider myself a loyal customer lately. I will continue to try them to see if I like them again.

Good service and good food as always! My fave is their quesabirria, asada fries and super nachos! :)They keep their sauce bar and their place clean which I really appreciate.

The potato tacos are a near 5 star experience. The salsita is flavorful and the potatoes are nestled in a crunchy taco! They give you 4! My cousin got the super burrito which she said had an up charge from burritos bought at the truck. The restaurant was a little cold inside so that's where they lose a star. Seems like the prices are more expensive than the trucks they have but it's understandable. However... I dislike paying extra but not getting the extras .. like a warm place to sit. Overall, very flavorful and worth every penny for those potato tacos

The food here is so good. We ordered tacos, birria tacos, asada fries, chips and salsa, and a torta. Everything was so good and worth it. The cashier was very nice as well. Glad we tried this place as this will be one of our go to in town from now on hen we crave mexican food.

My brother in law put me on!!! Stopping by every visit now, I love how you can get your own sauce and it felt unlimited haha. Everyone ordered the asada burrito which was a 10/10!!! I ordered the asada tacos tortilla was pretty good. It was pretty packed but we called the order in and it was quick , ordered 8 burritos and 3 tacos with a delicious horchata and it only took 15 minutes! The chips were crispy with the guacamole.

Every time I come here and order from Tacos Chapala, the food is always amazing and I always leave knowing my money was well spent. I came with my boyfriend and ordered asada fries and a large horchata. It all came close to $18.00+. The girl / lady who helped us was extremely nice and our order was out in less than 10 mins. They offer a large selection of food from tacos to burritos, menudo, pozole verde, ( offered EVERY DAY ) and even birria tacos and the most trending dish at the moment, "quesa-birria" tacos". I like how they have a wide selection of salsas as well. Enjoyed the dish and the drink that we were served. I will always be back.

I've been to this place often, but today I was very disappointed how they wasted my time. The young lady at the registered was polite, but she seemed like she didn't care and hated her job. I waited almost 30 minutes for my order which I don't mind when I know it's busy, but my food was not right. The Carne Asada tacos were made very sloppy. The meat was almost the size of a nickel I am very dry. The chicken on our tacos and torta was so dry. We thought it was chicken Chicharron. Prepping the food, kept scratching his face and looking on his cell phone and then proceeds on grabbing food to prepare without washing his hands. I will never come back to this location because what I experience and what I seen today.
