Taco Fiesta & Catering

I'm thankful for my free Carne Asada tacos yesterday. But the meat needed more seasoning and was missing that charred, smokey flavor I love. Salsa and lime boosted the flavor as they normally do.The server wasn't rude, but there was no cheerfulness or enthusiasm. I'd expect a little of that while catering at a place of business.At least they plated our tacos beautifully!

We ordered some tacos and a torta de asada. The tacos did not have a very in-depth flavor and were kind of bland. The tortillas had a texture like they were heated but not cooked through... a little disappointing as we paid about $3 per taco. The torta had really good bun! But there was very little meat and cheese. They compensated by filling it with veggies but I felt like the value was not there.

We happened to be at the flea market without kids. Enjoying the peace and quiet. We came up this taco truck and decided to try it. The menu was typical of a taco truck. I went with the asada burrito as did my wife. The wait was a bit long like other yelpers have reported. I would hate for this truck to get busy. The burrito was made perfectly. Had great flavor. Definitely a well made burrito. As for the size? Definitely not small.

This taco truck is the best tasting in my area so far. I live in Oakdale and so far all of the other taco trucks in my area have not met my expectations. I ordered a burrito supreme with carne asada, no beans with extra rice. At first they did not make my order right but the owner kindly apologized and remade the order no questions asked. So I did appreciate that. My wife is very picky when it comes to mexican food and she was even impressed. We will definitely be coming back to this spot for our taco truck fix. All of the other food there looked very food as well.

The service was a little slow, you would think they would be pumping out the food with amount of staff that was working. The menu seemed to have a good number of options but maybe that was the problem with being able to get the food out of the window. It was a decent meal but could use a little love. A few small changes could make the food worth the wait.

Bad customer service, wpuld not recommend. They were in modesto for modesto taco festival. Instead of letting people know of the long wait ahead of time they wpuld make people wait an hour just to ask for refunds cause they were so slow.
