Service very fast, we place order to go as we drive in from OC California. They always have it ready for us . The " Best" Mexican Pork tri tip .. wish you were closer to us :) definitely worth making a 3 day weekend out of this . We stay up in Jackson CA, it is so beautiful and so much to do. Breweries, wineries, great restaurants and friendly people.Until next year!!

The variety of different types of meats/marinades makes this place a "diamond in the rough" Meat selection is awesome, combined marinades. All different types of sausage/links is great too. I'm excited to try the elk burgers for sure! It's nestled in Jackson and kind of hidden if you are not from there. I would recommend to take an ice chest so you can filler up ;)......the customer service is absolutely Fantastic..........this is a photo of my 1st haul from there and plan to do a "pre-order" next time!!!

My brother in law recommended me this place and he didn't disappoint me. Great service and food selection is ample. Place looks old from outside, but is well maintained inside. Great customer service, we will come back soon for more marinated. Meats.

A gem in Amador County. This place is a meat lovers dream. So many great options between their tri-tip, chicken, pork chop, bacon, etc. It's so hard to limit myself when I come in. Will continue to drop by every time I'm in Amador County.

Swingles is where we buy almost all of our meat. Everything is local, the quality is very good and the pricing is cheaper than any grocery store or big box store. I love that they have tons of pre marinated options. Some of my favorites are the pineapple chicken, the Kona tri-tip, their maple bacon and prepared hash brown patties, and their prepared beef burgers. They also have tons of prepackaged house made pastas m, raviolis and sauces, sausages off all sorts, lunch meats, and premade dishes like chile verde. The best meats, the best pricing and great service. Watch for their monthly specials, too!

Best butcher shop in county. Try the Kona Beef! Great quality and atmosphere. No sandwiches.

I am running a project in Sutter Creek, and was turned on to Swingle Meat Co. by my quality control director, and God Bless him for it! Swingle is Meat Co. is literally the 'carnivores toy store' (as per their branding). When you first arrive, Swingle Meat Co. is pretty straight forward. Older, relatively unassuming: easy to identify by the large Cow signage! Parking is limited, but I haven't had an issue with it - most people are in-and-out. The inside is full of taxidermy, wall freezers, etc. there is a deli meat counter, and there are several people available to help you onsite. The staff is FAST! Swingles has elk, rabbit, fish, chicken, beef, cheese, pasta! You name it, they have it. I even saw some bacon wrapped chipotle meatballs in the sausage side freezer... On my first visit, I picked up the Kona sausage, Kona tri-tip, Motherload pork short ribs. So far, we have had the Kona sausage which is AMAZING!!! Apparently, Kona-anything is their bread-and-butter; everyone is a fan! We are saving the tri-tip and ribs for the Superbowl (goooo, 49ers!). On my second visit, I picked up the ricotta and pesto ravioli. Delish! I also picked up some of their extra lean ground beef for my sauce ... at $4.85 a lb, was a great find and great quality (also kept in the same freezer as the sausage, to the left - if it's out, you can ask someone up front to grab more from the back freezer). When the weather warms up, I am grabbing some of their marinaded pineapple chicken and seasoned fish filets, for the grill. ** Swingle also has snacks and food for your fur babies!!!!!If meat is your thing, Swingle is your place!!!! And if you are in the area, also try Cavanas (5 min away in Sutter Creek). They use Swingle meat and its a great pit spot :)

Meat is wonderful, service is great. Been going there for years. They greet me by name when I walk in.
