Their COVID sanitation and social distancing is impeccable , I took my first ever cycling class , the class was fun it wasn't competitive and I was able to go at my own pace while I got my body used to what I was doing , Michelle was AWESOME she encouraged me the whole time and made sure I wasn't embarrassed about needing a lot more breaks . The cycling class was enjoyable but my only downside was the comfort of the seats since I was a newbie I couldn't focus on the workout because my butt was literally numb from the pain of the seat lol, my classmates helped me by showing the seat pads i was still in pain but I tried to push through as much as I could . Long story short you need to sign up you won't regret it

This review is LONG OVERDUE. I discovered SWEAT when I came home last year for a friend's wedding. Not wanting to slack on my exercise plans, I signed up for some spin classes here. The Real Ryder bikes were something else! I'd done plenty of spin classes before, but these bikes gave me a workout I hadn't felt before. The downside of no longer living in Stockton is not being a regular here, but when I'm home for the holidays or other occasions, I try to make a point of doing a class or two.I definitely recommend SWEAT! Check them out, sweat, and feel good about supporting local businesses in Stockton :)

SWEAT is a hidden gem here in Stockton. Owners Rodger & Lakiesha have done a fantastic job building a community here that fosters togetherness & encourages you to be your best. I discovered SWEAT through Yelp because I needed a place that didn't require joining for a year or a long commitment. They offer class packages, month memberships, & more. I lost my Mother and this place helped save me from emotional disparity. I got up, worked out, & had fun. Even if for just an hour. I will never forget the kindness of Rodger and the fellow gym goers. There's no attitude here. I will continue to support this studio every time I come home to visit. I wish you were here in Germany. Thank you!!

After working at home, in the gym, and not working out at all, I have found my 'fitness home' at Sweat Stockton. The workouts are challenging and I've become part of a wonderful fitness family. I'm stronger, fitter, and I'm loving seeing what my body can do over time instead of the quick fixes that I had been going for. Thanks to all of my coaches and to Coaches Rodger and Lakiesha for bringing Sweat to Stockton.

The owners are the nicest people in the whole world. So kind, welcoming, and motivating. Rodger's weight loss story is so uplifting and pushes u to accomplish your goal. Their classes r the best and LaKILLsha really accommodates everyone when working out, making sure everyone learns and does the workout correctly.

I drive past Sweat frequently on my way to work and when I'm grocery shopping across the street at Safeway. For my birthday I was gifted a Groupon and I am so thankful for the gift. This gym is fantastic. The staff is friendly and inviting. Signing up and checking in for my first class was easy and beginner friendly. I took the cardio boxing class, and boy did it kick my butt. I thought I was in shape, but apparently not. This class was challenging but fun at the same time. I have always loved boxing and this was one of the best classes I have ever taken. I usually do outdoor cardio and was able to lose weight on my own through that, but recently have hit a plateau. I know training at Sweat will help me reach my goals and I look forward to trying more classes!

I went to Sweat last night for the first time with my free session, I had such a great time and great workout!!! Everyone was so welcoming and personable. I had not been to the gym in about 2yrs but they worked with and encouraged me during our session. I can't wait to go back tomorrow. Thank you for being so welcoming!!

I'm a new member, but I've tried several classes already. This place is exactly what I was looking for. I needed a motivational atmoshpere with great members (Sweat has both), AND the instructors are knowledgable. Some instructors have terrible form and/or don't help you with correct form, but both Lakiesha and Rodger walk around to help you with form (and to push yourself ). I am welcomed by name each class, I laugh and have fun, AND I'm getting into better shape. Kangoo Jumps is my favorite class so far, but that's because you have so much fun you forget you're sweating your booty off. If you're looking for a place that will get you into that fit mode, woth fun along the way, this is your place!

I have been a member at sweat for 7 years. It is a great fitness community! They have done a fantastic job pivoting to meet the challenges of this COVID era. The instructors have a deep breadth of experience. The owners have a deep passion for Stockton. Personally, being part of this gym has been a major part of my mental health wellbeing. Sweat has also met my changing fitness needs as over the years : recovering from childbirth, training for races, preparing for back packing, being fit enough to play hockey w my boys, and rebuilding from surgeries. I highly recommend Sweat to those who want to be part of a fitness community that is serious about health and wellness.
