Superior Thrift Store

I've been thrifting for 20 years and always trying to find diff stores to check out. Me and my husband found some quality items at a discounted price. Upon arriving the parking lot was almost full and the place is huge. Very clean, organized store with helpful employees that don't look like their miserable. Only downside is I couldn't get the 30% discount on Friday's because you have to check in on FB to get the discount. We don't have social media so it should be an option to check in on YELP also. We will be back!

Extremely sad how customer service is these days! Don't buy clothes from Superior Thrift Store! You can no longer try on clothes and I was told, you have one week to return for your $ back. Well as I am on the phone, I guess it's 5 days, but then I was told they don't count Sundays so technically it's 6 days but because I purchase last Saturday (7days ago) I was told no I cannot return these items, then I asked to speak to a manager and then was told if you come now, I'll do it for you? But only give you store credit! Really!? The clothes don't fit me and now only offered store credit due to one day, becuase I work all week and I was unable to make it to the store before they close on the 6th day!! One item I purchased is $40, plus 3 pairs of pants! What is it to you rude manger that these clothes are returned and resold! I will not be shopping here anymore as this is how you treat your customers over one day??! Wow smh!

Way too overpriced! This place use to be a fun place to thrift and find things at an affordable price. But unfortunately they are about making ridiculous profits over items that are donated for FREE to them. Whoever is pricing this is going based off eBay and stock x and all those reseller prices which sucks! They take advantage of the fact that there is not too many thrift stores in town since a few have closed down during COVID. I originally commented this review on Facebook and was blocked by an associate for my review that I posted here in Yelp also. I called to complain and let the supervisor know about the situation, but idk if she will really have this LADY in the back that's in charge of their Facebook page unblock me. This is still and will always be my favorite thrift store! I've found soooooo much good stuff here, from Harry Potter track jackets, to bags, endless tops, kids clothes, books, jackets, and household items. My boyfriend's daughter loves coming here and always leaves with multiple bags of clothes! They live in SoCal and always make it a point to come here when they're in town. I've never had a problem with staff. They're helpful and extremely nice. The store is always well put together, organized and clean. 20% if you follow their IG account or have a student ID!

I like coming here, simply because of the fact that every time you check out they ask you if you're using any coupons for today. During this visit I mentioned that I was a day late for the Facebook sale that they were having yesterday. She said that's OK go ahead and pull us up and like us on Facebook and you get a 20% off discount. That made my day! I love using coupons when I'm out shopping.

Aptly named Superior Thrift is in the running for best thrift in San Joaquin County. It's enormous and carries a pretty solid amount of toys, housewares, electronics, and other things besides clothes (which it also has a lot of).This place is not a secret, so it can get very crowded on a Saturday afternoon, especially as aisles are narrow. I'm planning on doing a weekday morning trip later in the year so I can concentrate on the clothing aisles, as it looks like they carry a better selection of plus sizes and office-esque attire than anywhere in Modesto.Superior used to have one of the two best toy sections in northern California; it's down a lot lately, but so is everywhere else. So if you're looking for used toys, definitely worth checking. They still do a fairly inspiring job with the tchotkes up front.There is a ton of parking, with two lots -- one beside the store and the other across a side street.

Shauna is the best cashier EVER!!! She is very sweet and her customer service is A+. Every time I go in I always find her to help me. She makes my day!! All though the daily discount is gone, with all thrift stores in town increasing their prices, you can still find really good deals here!! They have different discount days throughout the week!! I thrift everything here from bags to shoes, clothes and home goods. I would still consider this the best thrift store in the 209.

Pleasantly suprised. Was very nice and neat compared other thrift stores in Stockton. The floors were clean and everything was organized by size and easy to find. The prices were very fair as well. The cashier was nice too.

I was banned, on January 27, 2024...for what reason?I moved to Stockton about 8 years ago, and I would patronize Superior Thrift, along with others in the area. The only one I had an issue with was Superior Thrift.When I asked the manager/supervisor, why I was banned, she told me a fabrication, which I won't put here, which leads me to believe, that she has, I hate to say it, some mental issue. I started to go there for their good electronic department, but I'm not going back, for obvious reasons.I didn't want to put a negative review, however I thought it needed to be done.

They have great inventory and excellent service. You can buy value items for reasonable price. I really like this place
